Thanks Mudeford.
At least you won’t need to actually wait until November for the upcoming 16.25p per share Quarterly dividend payment - it is due to be paid to shareholders on Thursday 6 October…
Thanks SJ74 & Mudeford but until it gets paid into my HL account I usual don’t believe it
Thanks Mudeford :)
The forecast dividend for the whole of 2023 is 56.25p per share. (The 45p figure quoted has been increased to reflect the Share Consolidation.)
GSK Press Release extract - 18 July 2022:
“Dividends
GSK has previously stated that it expected to declare a 27p per share dividend for the first half of 2022, a 22p per share dividend for the second half of 2022 and a 45p per share dividend for 2023, but that these targeted dividends per share would increase in step with the GSK Share Consolidation to maintain the same aggregate dividend pay-out in absolute Pound Sterling terms. Accordingly, using the consolidation ratio, GSK’s expected dividend for the second quarter of 2022 converts to 16.25p per new ordinary share (taking into account the dividend of 14p per share paid for the first quarter of 2022), the expected dividend for the second half of 2022 converts to 27.5p per new ordinary share and the expected dividend for 2023 converts to 56.25p per new ordinary share. GSK expects to publish its results for the second quarter of 2022 on Wednesday 27 July 2022 which will confirm the dividend to be declared for that quarter.”
It's 16.25p in November. From 2023 it will be 11.25p per quarter. 45p next year. They are resetting. I imagine it will grow quick though. More capital allocated to growth.
SJ74 How I read the GSK website you gave I calculate a div of 12.5p in November Should have done more work before I brought
Yeah still the same. This is taken from their recent circular over the summer. Just read the circular delivered to shareholders states first full year as new GSK allows for dividend of 45p in 2023.
New GSK progressive dividend policy starting at 45p in 2023
https://www.gsk.com/en-gb/media/press-releases/new-gsk-to-deliver-step-change-in-growth-and-performance-over-next-ten-years/
I got it from this. Unless it's changed since that's what's been in my mind. Bearing in mind that's the minimum and they are resetting to allow for growth I'm quite happy as that will grow.
sj74, found div infi on 'https://www.gsk.com/en-gb/investors/analyst-consensus/analyst-consensus/' - shows divs c 58p for 2022 and 2023 so I'll wait for sp 1200p before buying !!
Thanks sj74, 45p a bit low for all 2023 though.
With the SP so sh@te i might just have to buy more on this dip.....what could possibly go wrong !
Imagine if this wasn't a mini Black Friday - what would GSK have done - up today in a sea of red
45p for 2023 I think starting as a progressive divi policy.
Just wondering please, anyone know the GSK forecast BOD indicated Divs ?
Slowly slowly catchey monkey.
This is indication that buyers are stepping in. Couple that with my previous tweets of a big block purchase over 20M USD in the US a few days ago the signs are here. GSK will be going up leading to Christmas
Buy the dips was the advice I read over and over.....
Just added and other £3k ....I have every confidence that better times will return.
Me thinking that the split would do wonders for GSK......................what a load of pony !!!
Agreed.
lol funny man
Feel like I dodged a bullet with this one. Would be over £40k down had I not sold close to £18. Still watching and waiting to see if it gets to the £10 to £11 range, at which point I might be tempted to cautiously buy back in.
Sold back when 1712p before all this mKP change.
Can’t believe there would be loads of arguments going on that Emma should leave and let someone else take to the helm.
Just remember the story of AZN.
Pascal arrived and at first the market was not sure he could transform them when the SP was 2800-3200p.
He has been great as he has been given time.
Emma has had many headwinds not expected to contend with. She will eventually prove everyone wrong..
Well, that sucked! I barely broke even. I had the cycle mapped out, should have sold at £18! But I thought I could hold out.
I'll buy back in at support, looks like £11.80 to me (as mentioned by someone else).
The Generic version of this carry the greatest liability- OTC sales count for 98% of all USA sales and that means the pharmacy and other outlets bear responsibility, when these OTC are brought without prescription
