Very strange drop for no reason that I can see, but when you also see PFD issue good results today and divi all on food products etc with SP up 6p+ you would have thought that this also being food everything looks good for results next week for GNC.
Who knows what's going on.
Anyone know why the drop? this is almost back to lockdown levels. New CEO didn't work any magic for SP :-(
New ceo Dalton Phillips, Let's hope he doesn't balls it up like he did at Morrisons..... Still remember the displays of salad and veggies being misted to keep them fresh.... yes they all rotted. That was his brainwave !!!
A 5 million trade earlier (nearly 1%). Don't know if it was a buy/short or regarding a large investor or short. But hopefully the SP will advance from these depths
I see Blackrock are buying again (I hold ITV and Blackrock has been buying there as well).
Has anyone taken over from Coveney? I haven't seen anything about it
Sometimes investing requires more patience. This will come good, just when but adding on drops
Big fall for no news, could be someone is selling out there holding. What is Coveneys holding at present,
Pity he did not leave after the USA fiasco
Haven't heard anything about a new CEO, but Coveney was due to leave yesterday. Anyone any news?
Just Read what I posted meant to say job vacancies which should be a plus and the bounce upwards with Peace talks from the war in Ukraine, tried to delete my original message , but no delete button, hope it all goes well for everyone
I've just got out 5k down, been a bit scared of inflation and the fact they basically giving jobs away, my average was 144 and been in it for a year, think it might bounce With the peace talks this week hope so for you guys
But it's taking a life time to move up, my ave is about £1.44 and after about a year i think that if it gets there I might sell and put the money in something else.
IF IT EVER GETS THERE !!!
Hey jed - incrememtal ups - interesting.
Yes more to come , but it seems to be trapped between £1.13 - £1.40 so it's about time it went to £1.70 as brokers target price have it.
Nice from 113 level, plenty more to come.
a bit of positive newsflow and up past 140p again. Great trading share.
Yes Mary, someone must be behind the 9.3p SP increase over the last 2 days.
I don't think they have announced the new CEO yet, Coveney is leaving 30 March.
Who the predator is :)
The dividend will return and a rerate will occur.
I am concerned that at current low price there is no talk of a predator or management buy out. What do we not know?.
Big volume so far today, with some large sell trades. Hopefully once the seller has finished the SP will improve
cheap as chips IMHO
Yes things were just starting to look good again until Friday US drop of 500 points, could be back to 130p again today when I was hoping for £1.45 this week.
Last week was a good one for the SP. With the milder weather this year, this quarter should smash last years weak comparative and could be 10% up on pre covid figures. Hopefully this will be good enough for an interim dividend and the SP should march on!
Not to mention the restoration of a dividend in the future and the income stream restarts.
170p+ is my 2022 first staging post, with lots of false starts no doubt.
GLA I am here for the long haul
