Chrisatbirdies, we’re in the same boat. 15p clears my losses in Frasers effort. Almost there. Fizz all week when we hit 15 and not just one bottle! :-)
I started off with a small fortune and with the help of SXX I managed to turn it into a smaller fortune. Once his gets up to 15p I will be back where I started. We had a decent b.b on SXX too and it's great to see a few names I recognise ,seeing their portfolio heading back to good times.
I am loving the journey and know that once that journey is over I will miss it desperately. In the five months I've been here I've come to enjoy reading the stories on this message board. As good as any book you will read. Or telly drama you will watch.good luck all you greatlanders
Great to hear everyone’s stories + faith and perseverance. For me luck has played a large part too.
GKP was my star performer before having made over £30k profit - I was over the moon with that. I too read reports of oil gushing out of the ground and was tempted to take a punt early despite the horrendous political complications of Iraq and Kurdistan.
But GGP has flown past that. I was tempted by all the tenements they were buying and stories of nuggets on the ground, as well as amazing initial drills. Bought several times under 0.6p in 2016, top sliced a couple of times, but bought back later. Holding 1.6m now all free as took out more than invested. Also got fingers in PRIM and SVE, latter up 70% after just 4 weeks (still undervalued). PRIM is one dogged nut though!
As I have said before I don’t normally go to BBs but somehow got attracted to pr0t0n’s thread last year, and through that to this one a few weeks ago. Great information on both, IMO.
Thanks to all for making this an exciting journey.
Been in here now for 5 years.
I still have my 11.25m. Brother has about 5m. Cousin approx 3m.
Nobody is slicing at the moment (although my cousin keeps asking). Sit tight I keep yelling. Just wouldn't be prudent.
Jezza is the 'Don' great job.
Paddy has over taken me now...what!? Sneaky...Can't be having that.
Good Luck All Greatlanders
Keep the faith. We are not there yet.
Regards
Coach
Very much the same story and sentiment to other LTH’s here, bought in on NM hype after cutting losses with ukog, when it dropped I said I will have one last throw of the dice on an aim share and booger 250k shares at 0,005,then sold them at 0.0069,then bought them all back for more at 1.1,been averaging up ever since and just over 1.1m shares average 2.33 over isa/junior isa/wife’s isa, have a few friends who have done well too. Decided after the last results that I won’t set sp targets anymore. As GH said these kind of systems tend to just keep giving, I think in the same interview he reiterated that we’re just starting our journey and at the beginning and has been saying this for years already.
This is already life changing money ,but this journey itself and the amount I have learnt on here from many great posters over the years has been equally rewarding. Like Jerry says, just tokens until you cash them in. What’s wonderful is GGP continues to give,I’m here until GH leaves or buyout now. Will continue building my position unless anything left field throws things ofcourse.
Like all others I am so greatful to so many of here.some lesser known and great contributors over the years.
And spare a thought for those prolific posters who sold up along the way and may just miss out on all the fun.
Onward Greatland soldiers
Christ Jerryspaniel, Well done. I’m envious. I got my first million Last month and it’s cost me about £57k. Having said that, it’s for my kids when the tablets stop working for me. Enjoy the lot of it! Well judged and well earned. :-)
Good Evening everyone,
I'm one of the many I know that seriously got hammered by SXX. I stupidly got carried away with the general euphoria and imagined that I was going to make some serious money. Anyway that's all gone now and whilst I was mooching around after Xmas I saw something about GGP. I came on here and read about the various things going on and was struck by the general level of good natured comments and also the serious research going on.
Thank you all for that as I did take a holding in January and increased whenever feasible. Let's hope it really is as golden as it looks.
Cheers,
MB

so happy I found this forum and would like to say again how much I appreciate all the detailed research and knowledge sharing that takes place here.
bluddy ell again lostinspace!! I'm in awe. But seriously all of you...what bravehearts and mind! Excellent stories and again thanks for sharing! See you in the Stag
I too am delighted to say I have 27,114,251 shares. Unfortunately, they are in a different company. Damn!!
Doing ok here though and enjoying the ride up. Like one or two others, I was 'touching cloth' for a while but things are definitely looking up.
Good luck to all of you
Mickey the day your target isn’t at least five times the current sp, I am outta here:-)!!!
Had me worried for a moment! I am close to a disclosable interest in SVE. So I won’t be buying any more of them.
I think you should nearly always adjust your buying and selling prices to the facts at the time. Say scally hit something big. Shares go to 30p. That might be a screaming buy etc etc
Jezzsers the daddy here . Hold em tight mate. 25-30p will be surpassed probably on Havieron alone .We have scally and PRE to make sure.
Love hearing these stories. I am holding 8.7m in my ISA at 2.8p. 1.3m in my SIPP at 8.5p and another 3m at 8.7p in my share dealing account. 13m total. I see this investment as safer than cash in the current crazy world we are living in lol
T123
There are - 'New issued share capital comprises 3,704,803,929 ordinary shares' mate..your calcs are slightly off!
Wow, Jerry & Paddy own 10% of the company between them!! Hope they and everyone here gets what they want from GGP, gla
Bluddy 'ell Jerry! :-)
Pfft...only 30m Jerry?
That’s a small change top up for TomE ; )
I take a lot of pills......
Jerryspaniel 30m OMG. Boom. I’d have constant heart burn if I had that many. Well played and good luck with your future. That’s massive
I bought in after the second set of drill results about 15 months ago when GH couldn’t understand the sp response. I like asset based shares that go down on sentiment but the assets are still there. Bought into a few false rallies above 2p but bought a lot at 1.60/1.80. Intended on selling some at 2.20 but felt sure it was still mispriced so I bought more and ended up with 37million thereabouts. This was too many and mostly in a tax paying account, so tried to job from the short side into my isas and sipps. This cost me a few shares on the way up and that’s ok as it was sort of planned. Now have about 30m across about 6 accounts, including some starvest which is just about keeping up. I also have a gold and silver fund, a silver etf, Solgold and GDXJ, so my colours are well and truly nailed to the precious metals sector.
May derisk completely at some stage but not anywhere near here. In fact was trying to buy today. It’s a lot at risk but I haven’t spent it yet, so it’s not money, just tokens.
I would love Mickeys numbers to be right, but atm I think we will be taken out between 25-30p. Otherwise I will sell when GH does.
I have had a few good ones over the years but this is my biggest position, my largest percentage gain (atm!), and the one I feel most certain about - which is handy given the size!
I would like to add my thanks to some wonderful posters and analysis. There are one or two people with whom I would like to think i have forged a proper friendship, and it would be good to share a beer with many others.
It’s been a great ride and when it ends I hope we will all have achieved way more than we hoped and dreamt at the start. Lastly I would like to thank GH and CB.
But like you and so many. (Bloody predictor text)
Wow Paddy that is some holding.
I’m at my exit point (that I gave myself 2 years ago) (well dreamed it would go to)
Bit like and so many on here, I’ve changed it. There is no way I could get out now. Gla
"What do you consider the end game to be?
MRE?
Hav buyout?
Scally assays?
GGP buyout?
FTSE & Divi’s?"
Dodge, just reading this list gave me butterflies.
