I have been invested here since 2015 at 0.06p yes 0'06p. During that time there have been many occasions when I could and perhaps should have got out. I am sitting on massive profits that could have been 3 times the current levels.
The point I am trying to make is that on many occasions the SP has gone up and then fallen back drastically. During these periods may on various boards were wishing they had cashed out and sold at the top. I really don't think 38p was top the SP will ever get to as GGP have too much gold and copper at Haverion and potential in other areas.
I have an advantage over many others on this board in that I don't need the money now and can wait. I have waited 7 years what's another 2. If you need the money now or in the next few months then sell when the SP recovers a little, if you don't then wait for the rich rewards to come your way. As many have said you can't un find gold even if NCM don't want to mention Haverion at the moment. Have no fear its a massive part of their future too and SD and the board just have to bide their time, just like me!!!!!
As a long term holder of not a vast volume of shares I, like every investor here, have suffered the pain of the constant fall in sp. But we are still here in our droves. HL are advising their clients with limited shareholdings to diversify as they say its bad to have all your eggs in one basket- how wrong they are in the case of GGP holders whose golden basket is full of golden nuggets. It is that that keeps me going. You will not become a millionaire or multimillionaire to secure your or your familys future for the duration by selling out now. Just grin and bear the pain and remember the rewards are so near in long term mining timescales.
Keep those golden tickets intact.

We have a same mindset. The pressure is being exerted on GGP holders because we hold so many shares as a proportion of the company. Others want our shares for a reason. The only way to do it is to withold information and playdown haverion but that can only be done for so long, eventually the gold will be coming out of the ground and the SP will fly.
Good to hear from you again gymboy. I always enjoyed your posts and enthusiasm for GGP from several years back! Many of us feel the same way and know what's sure to come with just a bit more patience. GLA!

Thank you. My patience has been rewarded with GGP. Even when the SP is much higher than the current level and I decide to convert some of my holding into houses and an income I will still have a core holding here. If GGP does get bought out it will be for levels way beyond our current valuation as their won't be just one bidder. I seriously doubt that will happen unless its for daft money.
I remember selling an XJS Jaguar years ago. One guy started playing the price down on the phone before even seeing the guy. I told him not to bother coming, he said he wanted to come and look at the car, I refused as he couldn't afford a car of the quality I was selling. It was sold for the asking price. We are invested in a quality asset here just remember that and let the games play out.
Always positive about GGP, the doubters are here for a reason and it's not because the doubt the quality of the assets.
@gymboy - my mind boggles at how somebody was sitting on a 20,000% gain and didn't sell up at least a good chunk. I'd have retired on the spot, prepaid the school fees and gone travelling for the rest of my life. I'm very jealous of your average :)
I agree Bunky, getting in earlier like gym boy is a great plan, I’ve tried on one or two other explorers, still waiting for those exponential gains!
Gym boy - assuming what you say is true then you have staggeringly naive investment strategy.
GGP was my second ever investment early 2017, first was an oil co. that made me about £1500, sold good decision:) moved the lot here and have accumulated as much as able. Hold no way near as some as some here, but very proud of my holding, as I believe all long term holders should be no matter how many or, few are held.
My belief is and always has been we are on to a great thing here, with each set of results the asset in the ground has grown and grown, we have excellent management and GGP is located in as safe a country as can be.
GGP have, and are under attack for a very good reason, if what is in the ground was not worth getting out, then it would be left to the Pi's to make a few pound, possible lose a lot of pounds, but this is clearly not the case, we Pi's stand to make for some truly life changing sums.
"It's not how much one has, it's what one does with it that matters"...
Hold strong if and long if you are able, and good luck to all who are here for good reason, if you are here to disrupt, may life bring you you're just deserve. L.B
Now come on hydro you cant agree with that stratery ffs, he should of sold some at least , how rich does he want to be lol
Check put wsbn and copl ....early stages but loads of potench.....im also balls deep in this one
Well done longbottom, I wish GGP had been my second investment!
Mind you they say you learn from your mistakes, in which case I’d have missed out on many “learning opportunities”.
Yes hydro but atm he hasn’t made any money the same as me , no one knows the future either , just look around at what can happen
Costa , you only make money when you sell , you might hold for ever and never get to see your profits , like i said the other day its pure greed , the crafty investors would of taken some out , although most wont admit , even hydro cashed some in at 25p he once admitted
@Freddie2 - pure greed could be suggested for someone investing in 30's hoping to jump on the at the time speeding bullet train and then averaging down thinking fantastic opportunity here, I get in cheaper and cheaper and cheaper.........but did they invest based on fundamental analysis or Greed and FOMO?
You were probably buying off LTHers who did cash out, leaving you holding a capital loss currently - so your posts around this are rather ironic mate :-)
Perhaps you should have considered why haven't these 'greedy' LTHers cashed out back then , what a bunch of tools and why am I investing here and then averaging down?
I mean - how rich do YOU want to be, if we get bought out below your average by NCM as I recall you started off in the 30's and somewhere in 20's now then you will lose capital vs theoretical paper profits for those holding lower averages if the deal is closed at below the current ATH.
And guess whose votes may have more bearing on that, larger holders and/or holders with lower averages perhaps, so hope we keep being greedy for your sake :-)
Greed works from both perspectives mate - or perhaps it was more FOMO or a combination.........some might say your investing strategy here has been anything but crafty yourself. Speaking for myself, the fact I'm not that old (just a few years off 50 though now so not young either but extremely active and fit) and already very comfortable played a key part in not slicing along with capitalist greed that I happily admit too.
In my personal opinion if we get into production and avoid being bought out, then as per the lassonde curve we should see a higher SP in future - we'll see I guess and I'm still very excited being invested in GGP, certainly never boring :-))
Dip are you trying to say i am greedy lol i will go as soon as i get my original investment back , thats not greedy .
Not sure what you mean ther costa , do you mean me selling
markjphennesseyg, Thanks, I have a few that are so underwater that I think even a deep water diving rig would find it hard to get that deep to bring them up, just left them as bottom draw, don't see the point in selling at such a loss...? Also one oily that is suspended, written it off but if comes good then a bonus. Main investment here with GGP and has been since 2017.:)
We all learn along the way, and I thank all here who offer technical understanding for free, these people sure don't have to but choose to do so, I wish I could offer the same. Thank You
And that will be fair enough Freddie - I never judge anyone at whatever exit point they choose :-)
You'll never see me post what a 'bedwetter' someone is if they sell during a bad period or alternatively a fool for cashing out when SP is running hot on any investment I hold and I hate posts like that - who knows what reason someone has to sell - lost a job, buying a house for kids etc.
Hi - I always have some funds i never touch no bank card. Holding firm here we have to ride this short out its hard but we know why its down so happy days ahead on the 30% better for shareholders get very cash rich. Over a year ago i had a stock that was shorted under 2euros i was buying like crazy not its 5.50euros and will go to 10euros !
Am always right in the end - Forget about the 5% sell the lots 30% 30p on that news ?
Dip666 - Most likely stress looking at share price going down -Lo0k at UFO now 0.61 very silly if all faied its worth 2p+
Hydro and Costa,
I commented on his strategy which has seen him take a huge hair cut in his profits in the last year, which he needn't have done. "If you don't need money for few years" and parking it for years may or may not yield a positive outcome, indeed it more often will have cost you opportunities elsewhere. He will not get to the highs of 38p ever or until production or an offer comes in few years down the line, say 2024. Then all he would have done is basically catch up with the profit he had given up on 3 or 4 years earlier and not grown that. Had he sold in the 30s in 2020/20221, he could have reinvested that elsewhere or even here now and be far more richer when 2024 comes round, providing everything goes well.
Getting married to an AIM stock is sure way to kill your capital over the long term, there is a max mcap a non cash generating stock will reach and that's where you have to play it with your investment strategy.
GGP is headed to sub 10 on the valuation of 5% that NCM will attach to it. It was obvious 6 months ago that it will be the case and so it's proving to be so far. Infact I had over estimated what NCM will pay back then but now I believe it will not be paying more than $50-60 million....
Mumbo_Jumbo
The price that will be required to secure an additional 5% of Havieron looks likely to be determined by an independent arbitrator using the Valmin Code.
NCM of course can decide whether or not they pay that price if that is the eventual route the negotiations take ( likely given the vast difference between NCM’s starter mine PFS resource figure and GGP’s MRE v2 figure plus the POG each uses.
Importantly the price for the +5% should not be confused with the valuation of GGP - there are a number of broker notes which set out in detail hake those analysts arrive at their mid 20s pence per share valuation.
IMO that figure will move up as POG rises which looks most likely scenario given the macro picture and given the drill result picture the asset at Havieron grows (Sandeep was explicit in stating this as his view on the Bank of America call earlier this week).
5% will either be based on:-
a/JV Terms -therefore below FMV
b/Hybrid of JV terms - therefore below market value
c/Reasonably agreed terms - therefore near to FMV
a/b will be a buying opportunity
c will see a good rise.
Only c will reflect Havierons current value. GGP is also more than just Havieron.
Maybe just mumbo jumbo though.
