What to do? if anything?
I’ve lost more than even you Roger! I had written it off in my head months ago so this hasn’t come as a blow.
Are any of you buying in at 1.5? I’m just not sure. In the past I though some of your posts were slightly too conspiratorial but you’ve been proved true. If the current SP is being artificially kept high by Peel then I’d lose even more.
With around 500M shares to get anywhere near my 38p average would need a MC of just under 200M! Not happening. However, another 15K at 1.5p would bring my average to under 19p. That seems more achievable, or at least I’d get most/more of my money back. I really can’t see any other way to make my losses back.
Perhaps I’m over thinking it but I just can’t fathom why the BOD would behave so reprehensibly. Unless they’re satan worshiping paedophiles why would they have shafted LTHs? The only rationale I can see is that they thought the confirmation of full recommendation for CYP219 would have happened by now or before the money ran out – but they could have got a bridging loan. I wonder if they’ve got wind that the recommendation will be conditional after all? If so, it’ll be around 2027 before GDR is viable.
In any case, to average down or not?
If the NICE recommendation is conditional why is the CFO stumping up £25K of his own money to buy shares in the offer?
(I’m not going to talk about Cheek in this regard because as I always say he “talks the talk but never walks the walk”. His £10K investment was laughable).
That money is peanuts for them.
Stockpick ,unless they were putting in serious money like many of us investors, it's clearly a way to protect their gravy train. Is there any plausible rational for the BOD knowing and stating there will be a placing, passing up many opportunities to place at a higher price, and then waiting till now to do it at over 50% discount?
All is forgiven Starres! You saw it correctly back then . This thing will take at least a couple of years before any significant income.
Russ won’t have to Stock, the placing won’t succeed imo. It’s all a ruse to get the sp much lower and threaten administration…or accept this low ball offer which has been made by our new US partner, whom to date we have not been able to say their name!
If the recommendation is downgraded to conditional then it’s definitely game over because even £6m won’t get them half wayv through 2025 with a new monitor cash burn of £650k!! It gets them roughly to end of March or April and unless the NHS buys 35k cyp2c19 tests next year then Cheek will simply have to do yet another raise.
I feel really battered by this and have proven myself to be anything but a ‘savvy investor’. Back to FTSE stocks for me and Bitcoin. Btc has been my saviour after numerous epic AIM failures. EUA, EUZ, ZOE (now CHLL), VDTK, CPX, BVM and even Vast! What a cess pit AIM is.
What’s left of my trading acct will go into MSTR and btc and IF btc hits $100k by the end of 2025 then I may just well recoup my losses from AIM.
*monthly cash burn
Bye bye now. for some reason i dont think you'll stop posting here.
I believe we'll have revenue from several new AIHL sites in H2 plus revenue from the stroke marker test after NICE and UKCA marking. Potentially revenue from selling the stroke marker test for research purposes into Europe during this time too, before CE-IVD marking which is expected early next year.
Plus specialist commissioning for AIHL expected in 9 months time (April 2025), and if that comes through then revenue should really start rolling in.
Jimi you must be massively down ? You've been here ages telling everyone to buy and how great of a position we are in
Are you actually invested or are you just paid to ramp
I agree with you about all those potentials JimiHendrix , which is why I will continue holding. However, as you also know we've been waiting for these potentials to come to fruition for years now. Further, the conduct of the BOD must make you question the company's attitude to delivering for shareholders.
Guy, I trade it. I hold for as long as I feel comfortable (usually months) and then sell some if I think there is no longer a high chance of further near term upside.
Jimi .well said..!!
Trading is the only way to survive in the AIM market.
LTHs are the ultimate losers.
You'll recall from the investor presentation that even after his apology for if shareholders were misled , Cheek stated that another hospital would go live end of that week. Why has there been no news of that? Why is no none holding him to account for that? I'm afraid I can't trust anything this BOD say.
Jimi so when you wss telling everyone how great it was and all this big news was coming you was selling? 🤣
You all out yourself not to be trusted
I'm mindful that if investors don't buy in then Roger's prediction that the placing won't succeed becomes a kind of self-fulfilling prophecy but I can't bring myself to put more into this...fool me twice shame on me.
We’ll have to agree to disagree, Roger.
It’s kinda strange, when you were bullish about the stock I was bearish, and now you have totally given up on it I’m bullish and see it as an opportunity. In fact I found it hard to sleep last night I was so excited about the market opening this morning and was terrified of oversleeping.
Short term I’m long anyway. I’m betting the offer will get off, and there will be a run up to the NICE announcement in July. Long term I’m not so sure to put it mildly, but this is a trader’s share, not an investment.
Good luck to you anyway. We’ve all lost large sums in the markets, it happens to me all the time, and the only answer is to be philosophical and get back on the horse immediately, as you are doing. You win some and you lose some, you can’t let it get you down. It’s only numbers on a computer screen, that’s how I look at it. If you thought of the sums involved, and the risk, you’d never press the button to trade!
Muminr, I think some of what the company says is controlled by the Nomad / Broker and not necessarily what management wants to say. I'm always questioning their conduct and my main gripe is transparency, I wish they would explain their reasoning behind everything they do or don't do as that would build trust and help to quash conspiracy theories. They have done this quite well in the presentations but twice a year is not enough, it should be regular.
What I found odd was how often JC mentioned how much he wanted to find long term funding, his manner just made me think they had already arranged funding and were told not to disclose. Russ's body language made me question that too. However nothing was announced for weeks which made me think they may take up the £1.5m from RF with minimal dilution and wait until after NICE before doing a fundraise. I expect this funding has been in the works for many months.
I've decided to buy more in the open offer, as I see considerable upside next month leading to July, providing they receive the amount they need. If they don't receive it and the funding doesn't go ahead, then the money is returned.
Guy, no not at all! The times I have been talking positively about the company and sharing my thoughts on potential upside were the times I was buying.
Muminr, JC didn't say another hospital was going live actually, what he said was a couple more sites are coming on-board. I believe there are 10 or so sites that are trying to get the test, they're going through the process of obtaining funding.
Initially I misunderstood too, but realised after rewatching.
Unlucky guy_ incognito, back to making sandwiches for you fella.
Normally I would be taking this opportunity to average down, but not here, not yet.
I'm going to wait until NICE approval happens, and we see evidence of strong sales.
Massive Ray 🤣🤣🤣
Are you still that upset I laughed at you for lying about trades over a yesr ago 😵💫
