Employees of Frontera Eastern Georgia Hold Protest Rally at US Embassy
Employees of Frontera Eastern Georgia are holding a rally outside the US embassy, ??demanding a 10-month debt from the US-Georgian oil company.
According to them, the company carries out oil production, drilling, loading and sale as usual and those working in heavy industries have to work in extreme conditions without a health policy.
“We are protesting that we have accumulated 10 months of debt for 4 years, which we have not received. We are demanding the remuneration of our salaries for which we have worked, worked and have not received to date. Everybody standing here is an employee of this company and they all have the same problem, ”rally participant Iveri Tsiklauri said.
Protesters will move from the nearby embassy to the government administration.

Fake
Why is this fake, an ex employee of frontera mentioned this protest was happening this morning outside the US Embassy
Oh look. Trumps just dropped in.
Fake news. Fake news. Lots and lots of Fake news.

Copy and paste the link into your browser and takes you straight to the sources website which is navigable.
Why just because it does not read great for investors do certain posters jump to the conclusions it’s fake. Putting ones head in the sand is not always the best advice
Totally agree. The initial articles last week had genuine LTHs heartfelt sympathies with the workers however it would seem its Quite a pathetic attempt to stir up negative publicity again.
VLV
Maybe that is why zaza talked about funds he couldn't get access to.
Perhaps the oil revenues are going there to?
confirms, the facebook contact info too.
If they are relying on the Liquidators thn they will have to get in a queue behind Hope.
Hard times for the workers but for shareholders there are some positives within the article. For example this one 'accumulated 10 months of debt for FOUR YEars'.
Apologies, posting on my mobile. Fat fingers and quite a few Guinness.
'Company carries out oil production, drilling, loading and sale as usual....'.
As usual meaning 3.2m$ annually of oil then not so good
forbes1 if your looking for positve without pain then you better go and find it somewhere else.
I've just been on interpressnews website as per you link nothing about US Embassy Georgia, " strange " the press are usually quick to get the latest news, seems like "more" fake news!
It isn't.
If you follow Arigarosa's link the news story is there ... with a picture of glum people holding placards.
Google translate doesn't work on the placards ;).
forbes1 - Choose the more positive statement.
I have not been paid my salary for the last 10 months.
I have not been paid my salary 10 times in the last 4 years.
Painful for me but I'm sat on the positive end of the battery.
Really struggle to see why some think it’s fake news. An ex employee of Frontera sent me a Facebook message this morning confirming this protest. I’m losing a lot more than most but need to be realistic as to the prospects here. I would like this to come good I can assure you but accept not all news is positive
New wine University in Khaketi

Perhaps SN is moving on to the wine flowing locally rather than the oil.
Bit of humour keeps me sane here.
Has the former employee said all staff sacked or just some.......limited staff could maintain production, but if testing completed and sale pending would make sense Shirley?
Received this morning
Hello, I was working in Frontera, on October 16th a whole group of g & g employees, 6 employees, and staff were fired, and most of the oil workers in Kakheti were also fired. Salary deduction is really 10 months, some more. What can you advise in this situation
'choose the more positive statement, are you for real!!!! neither statement is positive!!!!!!,'.
Only if your glass empty.
Indeed BigD
I would that a) everyday there's detail of some kind emerging and b) quite critically, what looks like bad news isn't necessarily anything more than noise. I find this additional information useful. But because it's not providing clarity on the main questions and issues - only seeming to support a narrative of one where we up the creak - some folks interpreting any new information as damning bad news.
The news we got is perhaps to be accepted as part of what's going on. And to date, I've come across nothing that this has been completely lost.
Am looking forward to a possible Jan 2020 time line for some sort final resolution regarding arbitration (if reports regarding ZM's comments are to be believed)
