The bigger the deal?
It's certainly all very exciting, will the banks be collecting their success fee shortly?. I certainly hope so!!!

Since EUA engaged the banks Palladium has put on nearly 50%. I know they'll be negotiating on a more historic average but that has to concentrate minds.
Why do people keep dreaming that this suspension is due to a potential sale. There is no evidence to that effect whatsoever. If the NOMAD is not satisfied that EUA have been telling the whole truth, they will walk, and you will need to find a new one quick or get delisted.
What's that sound in the distance, i think it's bailiffs knocking on shorters doors!!
How nervous are they getting now lol

Interesting
If an investor is short a stock on record date, he is not entitled to the dividend. In fact, he is responsible for paying the dividend to the lender of the stock. Investors short a stock if they expect it to decline in value. Shorting a stock is essentially selling it and then buying it back at a future price.
Let me just get this straight, Fred. First you say there’s no evidence of a sale, then you suggest that the bod have been lying and nomad is resigning. Please provide any evidence of that
It would certainly seem that the suspension has been instigated by the NOMAD as they are not happy with what EUA has been telling them. As for a sale, suspension is simply not the procedure. If they had received any buy out/take over offers at all ( binding or non binding) they would (1) have to inform the Market immediately. (2) After potential buyer has done DD etc and made a firm offer, recommend reject or accept and (3) shareholders would have to vote yes or no.

Your now resorting to try on slate a multi billion dollar investment bank using Wiki to some how link it to this situation....
Comducteer cooomducteeer one tickwit for the short busss pweeease
What a plonker
If there are multiple bidders involved EUA wouldn’t have to advise shareholders until bidding was complete even then they would only inform us if the final bid was being considered, don’t expect a blow by blow commentary of every bid receiver because it won’t happen
Fred, first of all, nomad is responsibly to check the RNSs before they go out. Not after.
Second, if they needed to clear something up they would just do it, not suspend. Eg when they RNSed that engagement letters had no been signed last November.
They would not have to inform the market of an offer if it was too low. It’s also more likely than discussions are happening in the background, not that an offer has been made. They would certainly not RNS such negotiations. They might include in an RNS that negotiations were happening (as they indeed did).
Suspension often does happen before an M&A. Not always but it does happen. It seems likely to me that some ppl got inside information which gave then an unfair advantage in the market. Hence the suspension can’t be ended until everyone knows the info. If it’s an offer, they would have to wait until an actual offer was made before releasing an RNS and then ending suspension.
I wonder how long until success fee time? -
The Banks have agreed to work on a success fee basis, so that their motivation is directly linked to a successful completion of an alternative asset transaction superior to those outlined in the announcement of 15 September 2019. The interest from the Banks is originating from the recent palladium acquisitions namely Stillwater for c. US$2bn by Sibanye in 2017 and NAP for approximately CAD$1bn by Impala Platinum earlier this month. The title of the slides for investors prepared by VTB Capital is as follows: "The Last Non Consolidated Palladium Play".
Fredr thinks banks work for nothing bless him, back to primary school and learning to count for you lol

9IN, perhaps the problem is because there’s a rival bid. EUA don’t want to RNS progress with citic because that would harm negotiations with the other bidder/s.
Sound possible?
If that were the case, EUA would not have to RNS anything at this point. They would only RNS an offer if/when it came through.
I can’t stress enough - imo EUA wouldn’t abc don’t have to RNS anything about ongoing negotiations
But the idea that we’re in suspension because nomad have caught the bod lying and therefore going to resign.....? Man oh man that’s a stretch of imagination. A whole conspiracy theory rather than the more obvious and down-to-earth explanation that there are non-RNSable negotiations going on in the background

Have you ever sold a house? It doesn't happen over night does it let alone one that's worth north of $2.5bn with a magnitude of varying factors
If this is what many believe and is a sale/bid process then it will take time, there have been no indications of foul play bar a Tweet which has obviously set the ball rolling and there are more positive indicators of late than negative
Nigh on every scaremongering bit of sh.ite that has been posted by a shorter or deramper has been quashed but non like to acknowledge the possibility of this playing out well, speaks volumes doesn't it
Riiiiiight, and the tweet.......? What, just made up rubbish by a senior banker that caused the suspension....?
Yeah I can read and it's out of date to this current situation...... Next
You "suspect"
You missed the auditions for the Bill by some years you plonker
I totally agree 9IN. If citic has nothing to do with EUA it should have been rns’ed last week.
But it wasn’t.
What does that tell you?
Presumably that citic in fact do have a working relationship with EUA. By your own logic!!
I will put my shares in EUA that your Gary.N, so obvious. No one genuine on here are mad Gary far from it, we'll leave that to your angry little gimp mate Tom the Winnet
Change your name to 9InchNose it's far more fitting
Who’s angry?
I think you just showed your hand as a deramper though. You’ve been lawyered so you try to undermine the bod.
Into the filter bin you go
It’s pretty evident from the amount of people posting recently that the people who are mostly concerned here are the ones who want it to fail for some reason....
You can’t handle a logical discussion so you resort to cheap undermining tactics.
Your own logic proves you wrong, my good man.
I think it’s only suspended in case someone else that can’t hold their water spills the beans again. negotiations will be ongoing...but this time without looselips involved.
Just a thought
Simply Wall Street has this stock with fair value of 742p

I’ve been in many confidential meetings with maybe a dozen people. Usually after a week or so someone will tell me what the meeting was about and they were not even in the room. It was usually 50% accurate, so 50% inaccurate, and dressed up with additional rubbish. Just shows how distorted the story can get. Probably almost correct but not absolutely the full story. Meanwhile we wait. It’s worth waiting for. I just hope it’s not too long cos I’m old and on borrowed time. Get a move on lads!
