Golly gosh MikeB, you're up early. Hi everybody. Well, without factoring the Loch Tay shares into the equation, my 'Zinnwald' shares are now losing me money. It's disappointing. This was supposed to be a good deal. Ah, give it time.
ATB
Ballers, which brokerage do you use?
L
most of us have our shares held in a nominee a/c so any ideas how we will get the eris gold allocation and also how we can eventually trade them?
My zinnwald have appeared and I‘m to receive a paper cert. for Erris. All strange stuff to me.
just look for Zinnwald. See you all on the other side, LOL.
Oh, in case anyone hasn't looked it up yet, the ticker for Zinnwald is ZNWD.
Mine have changed too and I guess they've dropped a little because 1) people are scared by change and some may decide to sell but chiefly 2) if you look at Bloomberg you will see that all the markets are considerably down today because of Covid and the threat of widespread country lockdowns. In a twist of fate, it's not even the US election having any effect at the moment. We'll see what happens on Tuesday.
Unlisted shares will not show in your trading accounts on your platform because unlisted shares cannot be bought or sold in the same way as listed shares. I have asked my platform, II, a raft of questions and when I hear from them I will pass on their replies. It's early days for a changeover of this sort. I'm sure it will all sort itself out.
ATB
your not the only one..
i've got my Zinnwald shares but not the Eris Gold
mine have also changed to Zinnwald but in an Iwebshare dealing account. Are we going to get allocated more shares via a dividend. im a bit lost?
my Erris shares in my ISA have now changed to Zinnwald but price has dropped to 7p. On the face of it, that looks bad but then what do I know?
Just interested to see how and when Erris Gold shares will be allocated
meant to add onto that......my shares is the isa have name changed to zinnwald, so that bit is ok.
just missing the erris shares ......
Morning,
I've contacted Lloyds about the erris shares, they have had no notifications yet. Has anyone had their erris shares appear?
Thanks Woolgie. That's saved me a job. The answer is annoying though!
My shares are in a SIPP with II and I contacted them about the Gold shares. They said they will remain in the SIPP as it would be illegal to move them outside that wrapper, even though they are unlisted. When they do become listed they will work as normal and still be inside the SIPP. I didn't enquire as to whether they can be sold off-market whilst unlisted but if they can the cash would stay in the SIPP. This is different to ISAs, where shares can be transferred out to a normal trading account.
is going to get me to sell my shares.
Sorry Bankies, I overlooked your post.
'Whilst the Record Date for the Divestment is due to occur at 6.00pm today, {Ed Note: meaning the 28th}, the Company's shares will continue to trade with an entitlement to the Divestment until the Ex-Dividend Date of 29 October 2020.
Accordingly, unless the counterparties specifically agree otherwise, a buyer of the Company's Ordinary Shares ahead of the Ex-Dividend Date will assume the benefit to the Divestment by distribution in specie, and the seller would need to pass the benefit to the buyer, even if the seller is the recorded owner at the Record Date.
New Ordinary Shares to be issued in connection with the Placing will have no entitlement to the Divestment.'
I read that as people can still buy on 29th, and I assume it's up until 4.30 pm. You could check with your broker to be sure.

Yes, I said a little while ago that we would be attracting the attention of crazies or people with their own agenda. Juvenile, aren't they?
ATB real shareholders:)
Based on the latest RNS if you buy shares tomorrow (28th) you are still entitled to Eris gold shares. However, does the same also apply on the 29th or is tomorrow the last chance to get your hands on Eris gold shares?
Just wondering if its tomorrow or Thursday for final top up?
Many thanks
If your erris resources shares are held by a broker, in effect in a nominee account, then the shares will go to your broker since it will be your brokers name on the share register. The broker should then record your beneficial interest agains your account, as an unlisted stock.
If you hold the shares directly in your name, then the share Certificates will be posted to the address on the share register associated with your name.
If your account is an ISA, then those shares will go to the ISA broker, and you will need to open a normal trading account with your broker so that they can record those shares for you in it.
Not sure about SIPPS though...

As these shares in Erris Gold are privately held - will they still be held in my broker account? Or are we posted this information?
