"I’d like to announce an update. I’m intending to invest in the company to show some much needed support. I’ve had a change of heart. As soon as it hits 7p per share, I’m in."
The company is a mess, admin is on the way, £3m has disappeared, the directors are all crooks, individuals are benefiting from insider trading, the police need to be involved etc etc. However, if this 'dog' gets low enough, I'm in!
Nothing like showing yer true cards Andrew. And I thought you were here to save all of us from big bad Scotgold, nope you just want a lower entry point.
Anyone had any luck with Halifax/Bank of Scotland? They are claiming that they are not offering it to shareholders.
Every time there is a little bit of positive press activity there is a placing.
At 40p why not get it out of the way before the positive press activity and try to build some momentum.
Same old story.
Or there is significantly more people in England than Scotland.
Based on the latest RNS if you buy shares tomorrow (28th) you are still entitled to Eris gold shares. However, does the same also apply on the 29th or is tomorrow the last chance to get your hands on Eris gold shares?
Just wondering if its tomorrow or Thursday for final top up?
Many thanks
SGZ has been on a really good run recently, attracting many new investors to get the SP up to £1.50. Long term holders know the story well, and whilst disappointed will see this as a short term set back and possible top up opportunity. However, the £1.10 placing isn't a great message from the BOD to the new investors, a painful reminder for them that sadly this is another AIM stock and the usual health warnings apply. Seems to be a recurring issue for the BOD that they shoot themselves in the foot sometimes. Overall I'm happy with progress, but disappointed that the BOD deemed £1.10 to be acceptable. It would be interesting to see who was fortunate enough to pick up the placing shares.
Whilst progress and additional funding is welcomed, £1.10 is a joke.
Just to let you know that my options are now available via Bank of Scotland.
They were pending for a few weeks but now live and available to trade.
The BoS deadline is to action the corporate action. This will likely be planned to action as many shareholders at the same time.
The corporate action also states that you can get your options after the 5th Nov. However, you need to phone up and manually request them after this date, and before mid Dec to give them time to liaise with SGZ.
Hope this helps
The corporate action from Bank of Scotland arrived earlier today, two day after my phone call.
If you're with BoS, check your corporate actions tab.
Spoke to Bank of Scotland/Halifax today with regard to my options. They claim that a corporate action is due out in the next few days to allow you to exercise your options. Will report back if/when it comes out.
Does anyone know if TE2 is located within the concession area?
JP advised in a fireside chat, last one I think, that he was going nowhere, even tho the RNS stated his commitment for x months until early/mid this year.
The fact that Shell and Repsol are only 'interested' in the paleo, this may explain the lack of bids/offers/later than hoped LE, as the majors are holding off for definitive info on what we may/may not have in the paleo. Hopefully TE9 delivers the required info.
Interesting that shell/repsol now have a reduced license area. I'm guessing we are after the relinquished acerage as part of our consolidation plans. From memory, OGIF managed to pick up our relinquished acreage, before us getting it back via the OGIF deal.
Quote of the day from Jez: 'OK but don't come on here and moan and groan if we experience any unforeseen complications at the drillbit or worse still duster(s).' If only you took your own advice!
Great news for all holders. Onwards and upwards!
