Barclays shares were acquired in the open market, and were definitely NOT part of the new placing.
The new placing shares couldn’t come into effect into the earliest of the egm date since it was dependent upon shareholder approval.

What has happened to our board today!
Someone is clearly very keen to relieve us loyal shareholders of our golden tickets.
Good luck with that & mine are staying safely vaulted!
Barclays investment of 2,500,000 is probably part of the placing at 5p.
It is misleading for Eris bulls to claim that Barclays have paid 11p unless they know it for a fact.
I suspect that most of the “punters’ on here ( of which I’m one) have absolutely no idea of the future SP or at least have no sensible way of calculating it. There’s a lot of understandable froth on here at the moment.
Ja, ich bin ein Zinnwalder. Laut auflachen [LOL]
I think erris gold has already been sold?...
Hi all, been a holder here since 4p - originally invested purely on the basis of the gold assets, so recent developments seem like a bonus I think).
My question is how do we receive or hold the Erris Gold shares? I have not received any information from by broker, and as I understand the new gold entity won't be listed.
My site froze. So James123, do you hold shares in ERIS?

Testing
It is no guarantee of success. When you are burning through £0.5m of cash a year and have no income, what is going to happen with limited reserves and long long pipelines?
James123, I'm guessing you're a BCN shareholder. Do you hold shares in ERIS?
ATB
Lots of people are buying in, much like most AIM shares on the back of Rampers comments. This is a set and forget investment that will take many years to deliver shareholder value with a "significant event". In the mean time it will need funding and the minority dragged along shareholder will find nothing but frustration as their capital is tied up. If that is the reason you are investing then fine, but are on this forum for quicker returns with much more certain upside and limited downside.
James123,
The thing is that entities such as Barclays, G & C, etc has accumulated shares above 11p, I would say they know quite a bit more then you do.
Froth and hype - you read valuations from people that are long . A lot of AIM investors putting money into this, wanting a quick buck. Alas it will be a long long slog. Probably much better of with Bitcoin at the moment if you want a quick buck. Gold has also topped.
James can you explain where your getting 8p from?
so far i've read valuations from 25p as high as 50p but not come across 8p
The extension is probably in place to benefit a party that is still accumulating shares, can't think of any other reason. That's probably why the share price has remained static since it rose to 16p.
I think you'll find the upside is already priced in. This will go down to 8p quite easily.
You know Barclays do have their fingers in a lot of pies. They have issued 11 RNS announcements just today.
'Whilst the Record Date for the Divestment is due to occur at 6.00pm today, the Company's shares will continue to trade with an entitlement to the Divestment until the Ex-Dividend Date of 29 October 2020.
Accordingly, unless the counterparties specifically agree otherwise, a buyer of the Company's Ordinary Shares ahead of the Ex-Dividend Date will assume the benefit to the Divestment by distribution in specie, and the seller would need to pass the benefit to the buyer, even if the seller is the recorded owner at the Record Date.
New Ordinary Shares to be issued in connection with the Placing will have no entitlement to the Divestment.'
Not too late to get on board.

Hi CP,
No, I noticed. I wondered why you'd repeated it twice, but I wasn't going to say! LOL

Methinks a little bit of rivalry going on here :))

Meant to read , I've just gone through RNS
Thank you both for your reply , I've just gone through the end where this came from and have now an understanding. The part I like is the anticipated Mcap of £10.23m
