Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Now, now children!
Lav, I agree, keeping Gold on the back burner at this time makes good sense, this side of Mali Government seeing income from Lithium mine.
Following this afternoon's presentation, I did think the SP might rise a tad ( for a while) but looking at it now, I simply shake my head in disbelief.
BUT, I must make it to the next AGM or GTG to secure a Kodal Baseball hat!!!!!
What a perfect laterite road. That's pretty much how my wife and I remember them from the time we lived in Nigeria. Well done the team.
That we are some 10- 12 months away from production and understand why the SP is stagnant . My question is, has the influx of cash which was destined for the Gold developments actually been applied and is work actually taking place? An update with respect to our Gold assets would be very welcome and might even put a bit of life into the SP.
Patience is a virtue!! GLA
Basher, I have looked on their web site and didn't see anything specific........possibly missed it. Do you have a link please?
I must admit, I am a tad disappointed with the way the share price is moving ( or perhaps manipulated???). After the cash infusion and prior to more good news, I did expect it to drop to circa .5
at this price, I am almost tempted top up a few more, even though I am still way ahead of my average which is under .1
Must admit, I did expect price to drop a bit but settle at about .5, being the share value related to our $117m funding. This further drop is a buying opportunity. Pity I didn't take my own advice when it did drop to .5 , could have saved a bit or added a few more shares....oh well,,,,,that's AIM
After many years in Kodal, I did think after today's announcement, the share value might have upped a bit. On reflection, with the additional Hainan shares submitted to AIM today, slight dilution has taken place, so as a celebration of a slightly lower price, I have topped up again, bring my average up to slightly under 0. 1p
I do plan t sell a few at 1p, simply to pay for a dream holiday next year.......fingers crossed !!!!!
Good luck everyone and what a great presentation from Bernard and Steve this morning. Thanks Guys.
Now , now children...calm down. As a VERY long time holder ( over 6 years now), I have leant to be patient, so please tone it down. Hopefully we have just another week to wait until funding arrives...then "Whoooosh"
Muppet, I agree. Kodal has been lucky for me as well.. I first looked at Kodal about 6 years ago when it was a Gold Mining explorer. In those days, I saw gold as a good investment, so bought a chunk of shares for about .04p each. As time passed, I expanded my holding by which time, Gold exploration had been put onto the back burner, in preference
to Lithium. During the intervening years, I sold some shares on a "peak" and bought back in. At this time, I have accrued several million shares and believe it or not, my actual cash outlay, including all trading fees , is less than £100 ( one hundred). Apart from Rolls Royce, I wish I could say that for the other shares I hold.
I do plan to sell a million or so shares in the new year to finance a Holiday of a lifetime.
Exciting times. GLA.

Good point Elcobbledore.
Dr P, I can't find the report I read this morning. I found it on the news reports, which can be found ( on my computer) at bottom left of the screen on the task bar. I've just checked again and there are other reports which seem to give a mixed message. Perhaps it has been withdrawn. On a slightly different subject, a report on same page yesterday, related to a breakthrough achieved by AFC for the production of hydrogen, where they appear to claim 99.9% purity. AFC's current SP is circa 13p and the report referred to a target price of 125p
I read a report this morning which was a bit worrying. EV car manufacturers are pulling back on production, Demand is still high but not as high as anticipated. Elon Musk has issued a warning which relates to slowing of sales due to high interest rates. Also this "fear" has lead to the decline of something like 65% value in lithium, with Chinese battery manufacturers also pulling in the reins.
I sincerely hope this does not deter our Chinese friends from going ahead with the funding.
Sorry if this sounds pessimistic but as a very long term holder, I am concerned. I would like to know what others think.
regards to all.

Tomorrow. Patience is a virtue, often found in KODAL holders.
40m shares .. whoo, makes my 4m look small

Hopefully there should be a nice RNS waiting for us tomorrow morning.

What a pathetic Devil you must be !!!
I've been with kodal for nearly seven years....that IS what I call patience.
I read this BB most days and must agree, i am fed up with all the C**p that is spouted about being underwater. That may apply to some newish investors, who bought on hype. For my part, I first got into Kodal, really by accident, as at the time, some 7 years ago, I was looking at Gold Miners and decided to take a punt........then news started breaking that raised the prospect of Lithium taking centre stage, putting Gold onto the back burner. Shares were still circa 0.04 back then, so it was a no brainer to to add a few more. My holding is well into seven figures, as I am sure most other LTH's will also be and my current average is a fraction under .09p. So, I'm pleased to say, I am well in and looking forward to seeing a nice rise when the funding is secured. I have waited 7 years so far so another month or two won't make any difference to me.
Good luck everyone, even the gripers.
I'm just so pleased I sold out, even at a loss, some time ago, when Parsons seemed to be influencing how ECHO was performing. I remember him at SOUND OIL and his "Golden Tickets" and how he pumped up investors enthusiasm at a time when SOUND shares were touching high 90's.......then the crash to virtually zero. Luckly, I sold out there as well but again at a substantial loss. He is not to be trusted.
