JTB in the post you pointed out your 'expert' says:
"Coming up with a gold discovery in Victoria is like looking for a needle in a haystack. "....that just cracks me up !!!
...I'm sure Kirkland and a large number of other gold producers in Victoria would disagree with that.
Also worth noting that the ECR SP was 0.675 when he made that statement...so he may have been well advised to have invested in ECR at the time.
I don't see where the 'pump and dump' issue arises, esp in the midst of drilling when most investors are likely to be thinking more about 'results on the ground' rather than opinions? I thought it was mostly just a factual summary of the projects and the current position from AG. The stuff about Kirkland Gold was said in a speculative/rampy sort of way and it did not sound convincing at all - if CB had said this, most of us would be thinking 'oh no, here we go again'. However, in terms of JV, what was more interesting, and arguably more likely to be factual, was listening to him say that CB has a particular view of what represents "fair value" for CresWick, that CB would only do a JV deal if he gets that "fair value", and the current drilling has been aimed at showing that "fair value". This fits in with previous discussions we have all had on this bb. There is every chance that we are drilling at CresWick to move closer to a JV that represents "fair value". Of course, the risk is (as with all drilling) that the results are not great. Because of this, and given the cash available to ECR, would it have been better to announce a more expansive/staged program of drilling at CresWick targeting different areas of the DMS?
Hes in Cyprus.... Getting all the first hand info with the Chesterfield resources GEO team..
Huge VMs target so sue we will be hearing from him when that gets confirmed...
Look on CHF twitter... He is interviewing the team
Bact to ECR..... Doc did say anything less than the 2.20 listing entry is a gift...
Tend to agree
Cashed up 2 rigs on the case , looking in the right places....
Remember ... Just one drill can change the direction of a company .... Especially wedged between profitable mines
What is not to like here....
Possibly a pump but not a pump and dump. Why?
AG tipped ECR as his share of the year. Given the last ops update it is reasonable to expect him to update his views and defend his investment decision somewhat. The cash will likely soon be seen as a positive by the market but we need to get comfortably to 2.5p for that to play out. I.e above the placing.
The pumpy bit is the association with Fosterville. Their production may be down and they may be looking to expand but reading that to ECR is a little ‘pumpy’, the rest he read out was pretty factual.
As for the ‘dump’ well most recent buyers will be underwater by now and if they are still here they are likely to stay for the results especially if the SP ticks back up. Apart from the drill the risk was always cash at some point in the future.
Any LTH looking at a SP hovering well above their average has a reasonable cushion. No need to sell and the story hasn’t changed much.
So yep perhaps a little pumpy but I don’t see it being a motivation to subsequently dump a load of stock into what one hopes is a recovering position. Things could look very different in a few months and with the scarcity of drills in Oz resource investors may well favour the likes of ECR and others that are drilling and not queuing!
Usual caveats
Trek
TS, Docs out the game he's retired now
And you can see from some of the portfolios and cross ramps (...sorry, helpful tips) that there are a few Twitter disciples on this BB.
Correct TS - ridiculous for people to be worried that something that hasn't happened hasn't worked!
You know it's a P&D when Docholiday and all the other Twitter 'experts' start tipping the same share (they do co-ordinate).
ECR is not on the radar there so just a regular update from AG on Stockbox that everyone is reading too much in to as usual.
Well that’s a good thing then, as by definition the pump world give way to the dump. I’d much prefer knowledge investors to flood in that have researched the stock than a bunch of tik tok glory hunters.
Just Look At The Pending News Flow ! Fully Funded !Its Called Action Stations ! As Shown With The Hits ! Plenty Of Interest ! Any Sniff Of Good Results , Farm Ins , Offers And This Current Sp Is History ! Choices Choices ! Buy Hold Or Sell !
anyone who knows anything about pump 'n dumps knows this clearly isn't one!
I mean the chartist YouTube guy makes videos on many stocks he was just pointing out the obvious reversal indicators. The Stock Box podcast was known about since it was advertised on Friday.. Of course holders will encourage the spread of positive info I wouldn’t chalk it down to a grubby pump as there’s a lot to be genuinely excited about.
IMO a blatant pump.
"It puzzles me that a video with more than 1400 hits at the last count has resulted in not much more than 20 trades so far. Single figures on KAV and about 30 on POW. Something to think about"
Maybe people are fed up with videos and want some action. Just a thougt.
*Suppressed
I’m surprised! Ha
Seems surprised atm. Several buys including a big one @ 2p and the stock ticks up slightly, one or two @1.88 show up and ticks down immediately. Why?
Rather muted response to an upbeat interview.....
Very upbeat analysis with lots of potential re-rate catalysts and pending news. Looks very oversold at this level.
Assault on 2p imminent then a gap up according to the charts. Last chance to buy under 2p I reckon. Put my money where my mouth is and bought another 50k @ 1.94
LETS GO!!
Cracking update from Alan Green. The Kirkland lake gold part sounds very exciting.
1.1k viewers now..
Just Another 27 Needed To Hit The 1000 !
