That’s correct spank although it did get close to 5p. I’m continuing to add at this level which nowhere near reflects the story so far or the story pending. The Bid actually jumped up to 5.29 just before the market close and went NT for any quantity over 100,000 shares. Hopefully news afoot early next week
Things should get interesting once the Chinese start digging into that graphite test sample, that’s the point we could see investors taking positions as it sounds like it’s almost certain to be very high-quality based on the previous sample test results taken in the US and in Wuhan, China. With a market cap of just £8.9M it’s remarkably still valued lower than some explorers who’ve yet to put a spade in the ground
I bought 300,000 shares in November 2022 Cottill, I’ve not sold any, I’ve not added any, and have no plans to either. I’ve encountered many hefty pullbacks on the journey here and I’m sure I will encounter further ones as the upward trajectory continues, that the nature of investing in aim stocks, especially mining exploration. In all my years of investing this is probably the best prospect I’ve seen. Yes of course there’s always risk but with just a £40 million market cap the risk/reward is exceptional. So whilst I may not be laughing today I’m certainly still smiling! :-)
Cottill, as I’ve mentioned before I’m here for the long-term I’m not a trader like you, who posted only yesterday saying this is drifting down to 6p then this morning jumped back in just before the big fall! You should stick your money in the post office mate it will be safer there! lol
Have to chuckle at the few doubting thomas’s who’ve been panicked into selling out this week coming on here trying to “educate” us all. No way will this still be £50m market cap in a couple of months, let alone in a couple of years! The current market often takes time to digest news, especially something of this magnitude. Serious investors will be taking their positions in the coming weeks, markets are forward looking, and with signs that the small cap market may have bottomed this is a great time to invest or remain invested.
When the new doubting Thomas’s turn up after really positive news you know you have something really special. Same happened on GGP at its similar discovery stage prior to its stratospheric leap. The commerciality appears to be more or less a given now so at a £50m market cap I’m thinking risk/reward looks just about as good as it can get.
For us who are invested Consuela yesterdays RNS was great news. Now I know you will say it is only a preferred bidder award but it as good as tells us that the Finance deal is nailed on as this would have been a crucial part of the FIG’s due diligence process. Similar with the global oil sales company 5 year contract notified this morning. Once confirmed, even in this broken AIM market, the SP will re-rate well into the 20’s and you will be on your merry way looking for your next “project” to amuse yourself with.
My trading strategy is probably not dissimilar to yours Cottill, I have a core holding and also a trading pot. I think where we differ is that when/if I sell out I don’t come on here with my subtle deramping, I respect that others still remain invested. You may see my posts as sarcasm, I see them as calling out agenda driven posting. I’ve seen you do the same when you’ve been invested. This is my last post to you, I wish you a good day
Sounds like you’ve sold out again Cottill, you’ve been ramping this all week, so still changing your narrative to suit your trading position it seems. Hope you’re not going to plough any more into BOIL, now that one really is drifting!
I posted last week this needs no new news for the share price to appreciate significantly from here, it just needs the market to digest the news that’s already out there. So often on AIM stocks there’s a lag between the RNS and the market response, presumably not helped in this case by some forward selling by some participants of the fund raise and the expectation by some of the gap fill, both of which look complete now
Such a generalisation also demonstrates a lack of understanding on the relationship between share price, quantity of shares in circulation, and market cap. Some very large and successful companies may have a share price of just 2 to 3p. Once sentiment in AIM stocks turns, and there are early signs that it could be, it’s stocks like this that will multi bag quite quickly
