It's always the case that PI's are lower ranked in the pecking order. That's stocks for you. Nothing new there!!
The issue with junior miners is that it only takes one hit and the share price rockets.
Too many PI’s bail and there is a long way to go. As long as he keeps drilling we are in good hands. I am seeing this through all the way now. Creswick is clearly the jewel in the crown at the moment and it’s definitely going to be an interesting year.
I think most have moved on now from the raise and over confidence regards first hole(s) at HR3.
However, CB is going to incur further wrath from shareholders soon if he does not update the market. He said in his last interview "end of month for further HR3 assays", also "drilling to commence early May at Creswick".
He siad it and we have not been provided an update. Why didn't he just push these events out and note it would take to mid or late May?
I have no problem waiting for events to unfold but either he is trying to dangle a carrot or two to protect the SP or he is clueless as to how long things take.
Also to be realistic, the fact we haven't heard regards the last two holes at HR3 yet does not fill me with confidence that something decent has been found. Hopefully I'm wrong. (like last time when I was confident).
Go away star,..your posts are tiring now.
Has anyone emailed or got any info from ECR recently ? I know a few people were in contact
Good post mental. I think you will find most people have moved on and are thinking more positively now. I have been adding whenever I can as we have seen the way things can change here.
I agree. What’s done is done.
Let’s look forward and towards the news flow.
Still plenty of juniors popping again today. We will move towards fair value soon enough.
Ps.
JTB. I’m long on rmm, 0.34 av after a top up yesterday.
I think it’s time to move on now or risk keeping the SP in the doldrums. CB publicly admitted the fund raising was a mistake. We had a fortnight of non stop bashing it became tiresome fast and almost certainly contributed to the SP we have today. Let’s get positive again and hope for concrete news.
I’m not telling anyone what to do just adding my opinion.

Ag1989.... you are right to highlight the abject failings of this CEO up to now .I still believe Ecr are going places but the comments by Craig Brown ( quote ) , " I cant say too much " , were absolute nonsense !! He led us to believe that a JV was around the corner and it was only a matter of a few legal issues to be sorted out .That was nothing short of complete BS . Everyone was quite rightly confident about an imminent and sustained rise of this companies Sp , based on the deception that we were all served up .I am still invested here and I will continue to be for the foreseeable future. But Craig Brown has been utterly woeful as the CEO of this company recently and he should be ashamed of his performance. We have immense potential here but if the CEO tries anymore of the complete nonsense and lack of honest communication to the very people who support the company that he is in charge of I believe he should step down .He has made an absolute pigs ear of things over the last 6 months and his reputation has taken a massive hit . It is his duty now to get this company back on track , communicate openly and honestly with shareholders and deliver the goods that he has been promising. This year he has let everyone down , including himself .He now has to deliver on his promises .Otherwise he will lose the support of most of the investors who trusted him in the first place .Because right now , he has damaged sentiment in a big way .He has all to play for .And that includes his reputation !! No more more BS thanks Mister Brown .Just good honest communication !!
Thanks AG1989 - I wasn't sure from the previous RNS whether they were planning to put more holes into HR3. I have noticed that they are tweeting about Blue Moon today?
JB, cant say I was surprise that a jv hasn't taken place. My thoughts were that the idea of a jv was great for bringing about a little interest (carrot and stick approach) while the sp was rising, but was likely to fail and instead provide an opportunity for a decent size raise - which happened
LW - I think it was heading to HR4 but probably hasn't materialised as of yet or i think we would have heard.
It's funny because the pressure chamber and the build up to the JV has killed this a little. It may still be on track after we stick 2,000m of drilling in Creswick, but there were long periods of "well i can't say too much". Try and look forward and get those Creswick drilling plans drawn up earlier.
However i mentioned the other week, it could have been handled in a more transparent way with investors. Nothing we can do about that but hopefully a lesson CB takes forward. Because when you break it down, we now have £5.8m in the bank (an extra £2m), and drilling is recommencing at Creswick. 2 Catalysts which if handled in the correct manor, imo, could have preveneted such a big drop of over 50% since the start of the year. Don't say we're fully funded and then raise £2m
Just improve those bits of communication moving forward and you'll see nice progress here.
I think the actions of the CEO/recent events have removed the buzz previously felt about ECR, hence why people are discussing other shares. But I'm also happy to focus on ECR. AG1989 makes a good point, which funnily enough I was thinking about over the weekend, which is how long the drilling of each prospect is taking. I'm not having another go at the CEO (he's taken enough of a hammering on here already) but another one of the things he talked about, which I'm not sure we will achieve, was getting to a JORC resource at Baileston this year. I think he said this in response to being asked what his aspirations were for 2021. He also intimated regular drilling news. We are in May, and have only had the one set of results. With talk of 24/7 drilling, I was expecting a bit more drilling news than we have had of late. No idea what Midas is doing right now?
I agree let's keep it ECR and get this baby motoring...all stocks have positive and negatives but this is about ECR. This just needs a push and we are away.
There are other forums for discussion like telegram to discuss other stocks
I think my outlook on the company has definitely changed since investing here. I'm still here because i believe there is potential, and that potential once exploited will deliver valuable returns for shareholders. But in terms of actual projects, and how progressed they are, i had them as "the pick of the bunch". Should have done more research really and if we had "proven" projects of a few hundred thousands oz's, the market cap wouldn't be this low
But he know has all the admonition to tackle both Creswick and Bailleston. As much as there are Catalysts that can work in ECR's favour, these can also work against them is the results don't come through. Just need to stay patient and hope that they can follow up on the 80g/t at Creswick.
The pace is concerning for me. Not in terms of "the company are dragging their heels". Because it's clear at HR3, with the resources available to them, they've been drilling non stop which is brilliant. But 6 holes in 3-4 months, at that pace, it could be another 12-18 months because you see any real substance and continued success at the same target. Hopefully Blue moon will bring that continued success and confirm what they found back in 2018
Apologies for the rant....we had two days of non stop discussion on other shares last week and a page or two today.
If you are going to tip (ramp) another share then do it once and take the discussion on to the appropriate board is all I ask.
I don't want to come over as the BB police (never my intention) but I do find it frustrating.
Sorry if I offended anyone.
Whilst we're on the subject, there's a little gem I've been eyeing up for some time...
ECR minerals :D
Yes apologies . point taken TS...
However I do find like minded investors sometimes appreciate a tip I do...
That's why I am here and heavily invested...
GLA
apologies TS - point taken
If you want to discuss/ramp other shares can you set up a private chat/telegram/ WhatsApp group and stop clogging up this board with incessant ramps.
There are a couple of posters who start every day with a ramp of another share or two and probably have little/no interest in ECR.
This is an ECR board !!!...please keep to the subject or bugger off.
Apologies for the rant...it's getting tiresome
