The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I only caught second half of interview but remember.
Phase 2 - Exploration to increase resource and provide 10 year mine plan beyond 3 years has already started.. Beilng funded out of companies own cash.. Kili open east , in the centre and also at depth..
Signing of funding Cp's will be anounced before draw down as this is a regulatory requirement..
All very positive from the part i heard.. :-)
Perhaps Plant 2 is the start of expansion plans or a Plan B if financing taking too long to get over the line.. For all we know GCAT may be ploughing ahead with expansion plans with their own cash.. As per latest quarter, there is circa £1m fee cash flow for the quarter, if they can do this every 3 months then they can gradually buy the equipment and expand operations..
The fact they are generating free cash flow is more important than funding..
Just had a look at todays Tweet awithin the geology photos the team are reviewing diamond drill core? There must be explorarion drilling in background..
I would buy more if i had spare funds..
I believe the market cap reflects Kili at 1500-2000 ounce a quarter. Everything else an added bonus.
- Vim Rutha
- expansion to 6k ounce a quarter
- Tanzania JV
- Continuing exploration at Kili..
Oh yea, he confirmed space on board required for funders to bring people in.. Those who resigned still involved and adding value.
Points i remember.
- Funding will be through a royalty rather than pure debt, non-dilutive the key.
- Plans already in place for funding arriving and equipment is in procurement. They require new crusher which is holding them back, CIL badly designed and needs renewed, Might stick to open pit even after funding as going well.
- 24k Ounce a year after funding, new crusher crucial to increasing output.
- Exploration to be intensified.
- Vim Rutha, not the focus at momment but an amazing find and potentially stand alone mine. Potential for no less 100k ounces per year.
- Funding not dependant on prospectus.
- Tanazania JV.. £25-30mill to bring to producing mine.. Jv going to cover cost of this.. (yes, certain this was said which is well in excess of current Market cap).
- Cash positive and making money..
Thats all i can remember for certain at momment..
Your welcome.. :-)
Busy at momment consuming larger but will try putting some bullet points out later.

That was a fantastic interview..
This is the way forward...
Possibly 1 or 2 years from now, new disruptive primary source of energy... Fossil fuels, solar panels as we know it, nuclear power, gas and wind will all be toast.

Not a publicly listed company unfortunately..
Do you know what the AISC per ounce for the SGZ mine are??
Agreed Swamp..
A Market Cap of circa. £7m (going on current outstanding shares) and there is around £4mill operating profit a year at current production rates. Mine is being expanded all the time with new equipment, diggers, transporters etc therefore I would hope the mined ounces increases quarter on quarter. Also, the exploration is targeted to increase the JORC at Killi to over 2Mill Ounces,
There is some very interesting exploration work happening in the background at these high grade areas as well Vim Rutha.
In addition there is the imminent Tanzania JV...
All in all, a good time and place to be invested IMO..
Hopefully area 1C turns out to be the motherlode...
Exploration
· High-grade zones were identified and opened up the 2A, 2B, 3B, 3A, and 1C sections producing 38,011 high-grade tonnes at an average grade of 2,51 g/t.
· The focus on high-grade 1C area:
The area consists of zones of weathered BIF hosting quartz veins of different sizes. Mapping and grab sampling at the zone indicate a strong potential. Two quartz veins, one 3 to 5m wide and one of 4m wide are actually mined since the end of May. They are hosted in weathered BIF with proximal mineralization. The area has been drilled in 2022 and the results of the RC drilling assays indicate an increased potential at depth. Currently, the exploration works in the area are to assess the extent east and west of the mined area
Not bad for a Friday RNS.. Bottom line for me.
Sales
· 1,645oz of gold were sold during the quarter
· The average price received for the quarter was US $1,933 per oz
· The AISC per oz produced for the quarter was US $1,218 per oz
I make that $1,176,175 free cash low for the quarter. No doubt most of this money will be ploughed straight back in to new equipment and exploration but that's good for the quarter considering plant was down for maintenance for 2 weeks. The mine is being developed and expanded. I suspect they have started blending the circa. 4gp/t with the lower grade to achieve a profitable average around 2-3g[/t.. This would make sense to continue operating mine long term at profit.
1,176,175 x 4 = $4,704,700 for the year.. Or £3,701,422.72..
When this is considered against market cap it looks good value.
Yes, a 5:30pm Friday interview gives me the fear.... Hopefully just a busy week and pushing it as far out to end of week as possible..
BTW the last geology photo Tweeted today really does look to show alot of visible gold.. Areas look to have the yellow lustre, if that is gold then that must be very high grade..
Tweet out this morning effectively answers most concerns.. Eagerly awaiting confirmation of all this progress via RNS's.. Mining photos showing alot of big equipment, looks like plant is continiously being purchased to take mine to next level..
The tweet states EXPLORATION, Mining and Processing all had good weeks.
Although the exploration part might be simple rock chip samples looking to further define high grade areas.
I have been holding off buying anymore but just took some.
Regardless of the JV, Expansion funding and the high grade processing. At some point the geological model will be updated to include high grade zones and visible gold, as well the highly altered rock with quartz seen in the twitter photos.
I would hope they are able to update the JORC based on all this geological work and exploration or infill drilling is going on in background.
A lot going on here at the moment.
Imminent JV for a large resource in Tanzania (royalty agreement lifted), visible gold in an under developed pit (3a) at Kilimpesa, continuous mining of high grade shallow ore (Pit 2) at Kilimpesa (likely to achieve 15-20K Ounce PA) and funding for expansion of operations imminent.
All for Circa £8mil... :-)
