Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
The pull back and selling here for me is basically lack of news/clarity and general market sentiment. The longer we go with no news then there is inevitable going to be sellers that are nervous/bored/require cash or catch the jitters.. Totally understandable and will test everyone's nerve.
However, I still believe in the correlation between historical data and new magnetics/soil samples. Very close to Telfer mine and Haverion.
I suspect Terra Search is outsourced and completely in control of the drilling process and analyses. They wont look to provide snippets of information to shareholders, I think they will wait until they know exactly what is there before providing analysis for release to public.
RC drilling is quicker than diamond core therefore even with COVID delays, they could well be 5-10,000 metres into the drill.. I would imagine drilling to have already stopped if the initial rock chip samples did not match the data and geological models for the mag targets.
Holding and waiting, just as the share price might tumble on bad results, we could also see a 100%+ day on initial feedback alone. The drills might reveal large lengths of mineralisation from relatively shallow depths, confirmation the target extends the whole 1.5km x 400m and similarities to Telfer mine..
Worth the risk IMO.
This is always worth a read whilst waiting news.. The Telfer mine is unbelievable and only 16 kms away.. Similar signatures at Red Setter..

I have bought in here last couple weeks.. Geology and proximity to the large Telfer and Haverion speak volumes.. The magnetic survey information looks plausible and is the key here to unlocking something previously missed..
In for 1 - 20 x from here with 50% downside... IMO..
GLA..
This is a good RNS on the face of it... 1m with high gold grade excellent.
However, I do feel the market cap suggests the market is looking for more.. Still loads to play for with the remaining drills on Creswick but I am reassessing the risk. We need long intercepts here to have something meaningful.
I have this morning reduced my holding significantly. First shares I have sold for over two years.
I may be selling before the boom but sometimes you have to go on instinct.
Hopefully they home in on the structures under there and we can get closer to a significant resource. Still got HR3 results as well.
The soil samples are looking good and I make that an anomaly of circa. 250 x 80m (showing up from the soil sampling). Whatever is there could dip and therefore out of range of the pathfinders beyond the documented diagram or simply they have not carried out further sampling yet.
The map indicates some drill holes to the north out with the tested anomalies so I suspect they will be looking at continuation and further extensions at depth.
Some great progress and feels like we are closing in on something interesting.
I think the proposed drill holes are on the periphery of the anomalies because they will be angled in towards the anomalous zone, therefore catch more of the rock strata on the way down. Less likely to miss something interesting.
If it were a straight horizontal hole on top of the best soil sample anomaly then the reef could be missed as the pathfinders might not sit directly above a resource.
If it is an anticline structure then going in from eitherside (which looks like what they doing) makes sense.
Its difficult to rule out the prospect of ECR unlocking a number of potential gold mines. Each prospect could deliver a mine to a certain degree (depending on results).
HR3/hr4 - Fosterville style anticline structure at depth. (not saying same grades/size as Fosterville but potentially similar)
Bluemoon - New discovery already proven, structure dipping west and grades increasing.
Black Cat - Promising results at surface, where is the source of this gold, deeper structures?
Creswick - fantastic results 2019, solid theoretical model regards the Dimmocks Main Shale. Drill cores looking good within current drilling.. Could be significant resource here if all goes to plan.
Critical period for ECR.......
Assuming HR3 as noted on the twitter feed is correct and should not read HR4 (Cherry Tree) then it appears we are back up at HR3 looking at the Anticline.. Hopefully the reason for this is more drilling to prove up what they have already discovered and require some further confirmation.
A couple of drill holes similar to E79 would be very welcome at Bailieston and of course Creswick.
The last month is like being in slow motion.. Lots going on the ground but the wait to find out what's down there is torture.
"for poachers coming in and digging up nuggets". This makes sense, although they couldn't have security on the whole license area.
Perhaps they do not want poachers running off with the drill core..
I assume its normal to have these levels of security on a drilling site to protect equipment. Just like a building site??
Mind you a building site in a remote location would likely just settle for some Herras fencing and possible movement sensors/alarm. Monitored surveillance a bit more expensive.
Lucky, this is an interesting piece... The mine that is referred to is the RNC Beta Hunt, which it states as a Dome which is a south plunging anticline.
If my memory serves me correct, two years ago, the Beta Hunt mine pulled out some of the highest grade gold ever seen, which was named the gold room.. Some of the pieces are now in a museum.
Not expecting that at Cherry Tree but these formations can clearly deliver results.
My thoughts are that Cherry tree and HR4 are both part of same anticline that plunges north or south along the fault line. The gold mined at surface to date are off shoots of the main lode sitting possibly at the crest of the anticline dome.
Fosterville mine also includes anticline structures.
Anyway will leave it at that :-), don't want to get carried away here, need to wait for results and geological interpretation.
Creswick, there is no reason why the results are not goingg to be fantastic and we eagerly await these results.
However, I have not given up on Baelieston providing us all a pleasant surprise. He noted in the interview they have done Leach Assay's and now awaiting results from Fire Assays.
My question, why would they expend the time and money to carry out Fire Assay's if the Leach Assay's showed up nothing???
TS, I wasn't sure what the relevance was regards mention of the tender process but I think you have clarified. They are awaiting result of the license surrounding Ballarat mine before coming back to the table? Is that your understanding?
Of course the issue of this license OR NOT doesn't mean they can't offer offer the rest of it. Especially if cores on current Creswick drills 'are looking good'.
Evolution mining, out of Sydney (not too far from Brisdane) but with two large projects in Queensland. Circa $400mil Aus profits last year.
Could be this company and I think another poster has been mentioning Evolution for a number of months.
Anyway interesting time to be mentioning a renegotiation on previous jv discussions??
I was thinking, if there is to be another phase of drilling at HR3 will ECR hire contractors to go in and do this. Since they will now know where to drill.
Perhaps Midas is the front runner for the precise art of understanding the geology and where the gold is. Mass infill drilling could be done by others.
This could be the case for all the prospects, Midas can blaze the trail but not linger too long as proving up a resource at any of the locations would take too long for one drillrig.
And they are 139.9m down on second hole at Cherry Tree HR4.
Between the central HR3 drilling and the HR4 drilling, surely there will be some interesting finds.. The mined gold at surface has come from somewhere.
Sit and wait...
Agreed the statement 'first phase' important here as sounds like there is something to go back to. I would hope drilling at Cherry Tree is attempting to confirm that the anticline system continues south all the way to Cherry tree.
Back to HR3 later for infill drilling and proving up.
Thing is, it could be Creswick or HR3.
Creswick, if even better than previous drills, could be very exciting shows in the cores already.. Last drilling was RC and further north.
HR3, holes 7, 8 looking good hopefully the 9+ Childs play if they figured out whats going on below 60m.
At moment ECR have two significant roles of the dice.

Hopefully today is another of those false drops (where the bid stays the same) but spread narrowed to look like a bit of a drop until end of the day when it pops back up with a large buy printed.
Not that the daily fluctuations matter much to me but always nice to see the SP heading north.
