Anyone got any idea why the sp has dropped?
Therefore a good buying opportunity in my view. Will make decent profits over the next year and the sp will move up a good bit. We hope.!
The only thing I worry about is the USA market overheating and therefore setting off a chain reaction. Hopefully it won’t happen this year but I’m a bit twitchy.
next placing will be back down at the 1.05 level !!!!
I hold all my stocks and shares in ISAs keeps the thieving gov away from my profits and divs.
Are you able to hold this in an ISA account?
Bought in today looks a good bet for the future considering the area they are in. :-).
News today of the subsea cable project is probably one of many. This is a good longterm hold, with slow but steady growth.
I’ve noticed the short position has been closed out a few weeks ago by Millennium, so that was a short lived short
seems like the hedge fund is losing a bit of money on this one.
Unrelated - when's the ex-div date on this? It says if you got in with primarybid then you're entitled to them.
RNS:
The new Ordinary Shares issued will rank pari passu with existing Ordinary Shares, including the right to receive dividends and distributions, including the first dividend expected to be declared for the quarter from Initial Admission to 30 June 2021 in an amount of 1.5 pence per Ordinary Share, payable in September 2021.1
I cant find this fund on Barclays. Any thoughts this might change?
The primary bid offer for Digital 9 closed at 2.30pm today. The app seemed to have crashed as it wouldn't respond to me and I called someone else and his app also wasn't responding, so it seems they can't cope with the traffic near to deadlines.I got a market buy quote at 106.39 to buy DGI9...so there's a premium now to the PrimaryBid price.
I was thinking of investing via the offer but noticed a new short position opened recently on 28th May by Millenium Capital Partners ( 0.51% short).
Not keen on betting against the hedge funds.
Tried setting up a primary bid account and no go due to where I live. ....Nuts.
Today's update mentions the following, however I thought the BOD had said the divi would be overly covered by profits from Aquacomms (and the update on aquacomms seems positive)?
Are they saying following the issue of new shares, divi will have to be funded from IPO or is it an accounting, I.e. the divis do get paid from IPO but then the profit from aquacomms replenishes the coffers?
initial annualised 6 pence per share dividend yield for the first financial year ending 31 December 2021 (significantly cash covered from IPO).1
It's a tad off putting but that's the cost!
I'll be buying in on the 1st of June. Good long term prospects.
Just bought in - I like the look long term….in a sector that is only going to grow with management planning decent dividend growth
wheres the big tick up??some of they midas tips zoom away on mondays while others falter or never move, its pot luck, they say its the picks and shovels of the data game that will make more money,we will wait and see if this happens here, maybe not exciting enough for investors,i likely feel it will be a slow and steady long term investment here
There are so many assumptions here but - the Prospectus gave a YOY revenue/profit profile as:
Year to 2017 2018 2019 20201
Total revenue 15.5 21.6 28.7 30.2
Gross Profit 8.1 13.4 22.5 23.2
EBITDA 3.7 9.7 16.5 18.6
That is: $18.6m operating profit to Dec 2020. Equates to circa £13m. Todays MCAP is £339m per London Stk Exch. This gives a somewhat retro looking PE of 26. Not sure how that equates to similar companies (in fact who is comparable & listed?).
EBITDA is growing YOY. It looks promising but just not sure of who the competitors are in transatlantic cable or what the alternative traffic solutions are. In other words how big is their Buffet moat?
D
All of you who bought in Friday should see a nice profit Monday first thing.
Make it 3 I have come in . Amazing future for these guys
