Zebbo. Literally just plucked some figures out of thin air. How can you (or any of us) know what has (or hasn’t) been bid. IP may be of significant value, as may micro RX and research progress to date. How much value these have is impossible to know at this stage unless you are one of the potential bidders.
Please share the source of your figures and your calculation zebbo as this is just away with the fairies.
Due to the commercial sensitivity of this sales process, we can only provide limited narrative as to the exact progress to date. Offer deadlines have been set with all interested parties and the details of indicative offers received cannot be disclosed subject to confidentiality agreement provisions. - "So we have had offers and deadlines set"
Alongside the above sale of business activity, we continue to explore the possibility of a refinance of the Group and an exit from administration. Similarly to above, progress here is confidential and updates will be made available to creditors at the appropriate time. - "so we are actively looking at re financing"
Worst case looks to be around 3p per share ie £7.4M, take off c£1.4 for wages/fees = £6M to distribute. Thats my take
Hopefully this helps you - presume his Christian name is Colin, his surname, lawrence, and it's com, as in dot com, at the end. Don't forget/miss the full stops between Colin and lawrence, and between 21 and com.
So, Co**n.lawre**e@talk21.co* becomes...???....replace the asterisked letters with the appropriate letters from Colin, and lawrence, and com.
Best wishes and good luck.
I am not invested here but read today's RNS.... This is not right.....
If I wre invested I would try to get a journalist to look at this..
Put a few bullet points together and send it of to a few..
The Times will run with something if you make a case, FT maybe
or even Daily Mail they are quite vocal on behalf of small shareholders..
Maybe agree some points on here that may get attention..
GLA......
Would vote against, but shareholders don't have a say. It's been very cleverly engineered by OF and who ever they are working with.
Intrepid, there is no vote - control has already passed to the administrators - we are spectators at the game now having bought expensive seats!
Hi crl123
Sorry , but I must be having a bad day; I can’t work out your em to contact you.
Can you help with the missing digits?
Intrepid.
Hi all.
Looking at the administrators report, it’s apparent that DDDD has been well and truly fleeced by the 2021 lender. How can the company be insolvent when it has over $7m in the bank and a further draw down facility with said lender of a further £7m, AND the administrators state they believe all creditors should get their money back following a breakup of the group.
I strongly suggest everyone votes against the proposed breakup and liquidation. Shareholders won’t get likely get anything once the loans are repaid so why agree to it? Utter shambles.
Fair enough
Good summary of all absolve options that can potentially work out
What are we looking at for another update?
Is that still the same 8 weeks update for shareholders? Or this one today counts ?
Anyone know or expand on the matter ?
We are last in the queue in admin but that was always known. Route remains uncertain and unchanged really but essentially options are - liquidation (where we see nothing) sale (where we might see something depending on sale price) or refinance and resumption or trading where in time we might eventually get to see something reasonable, with positive results. All are still on the table so we have no option but to wait and see.
We are last in the queue to get any money back ..
am slightly hopeful and I have mentally written the investment of mine off
So if any surprises comes of some sort of value for shareholders however big or small
It will be very great after expecting none. Let’s see
Interesting. It seems if they can flog it then we may get something. I was surprised to read that 4D group ( as opposed to the subsidiaries) has only 2 employees, both based in France. Or have I read that wrongly ?
Good points Monkey,
I too have written off in my thoughts but your point on drug progression is much more important than whether someone bags a steal or we actually get back a chunk or crumb of capital.
Hopefully the value of the drugs to society makes its way into the price and we can all be a little happier.
At what point does the IP asset grab occur?
Given the view of the proprietary tools, patents and the progress to date - I am hoping that not only might there be interest from joint venture partners but also competitors. A don’t know what Seresare spending on trials and r&d, but picking up 4D for £20m with need for a £20m working cap float might be the bio-therapeutics deal of the decade. Contrast that with Merck whose flagship drug is well
Down the route of saying it works better with 4D input and for them a rounding on their capital spend delivers incredible value. As such I am optimistic that between these two without any others we should get a bit of
Money back - it’s how much.
Personally if I was Merck there is no way
I would let a potential enabler of improvement for my flagship product slip away, or transfer to another owner - I was optimistic this was our route out. Time will tell.
I'm not seeing much to be hopeful about, mentally written off, nothing I can do or say will impact it, it'll be a nice surprise if something is rescued.
I do hope that some of the paths thar 4D were investigating are continued and come to something, parkinsons in particular.
Still up in the air but some positive noises.
They are in administration, the administrators job is to find enough value to pay off Oxford Finance (or whoever it is), should this be possibly by selling off some IP, or fund raising by other means then that might be OK(ish) for us, if they can't or if all of the IP is wanted then it's not-so-good for us. Oxford triggered this as financial covenants associated with the loan were not being maintained.
Are they still trading? tough question, what is 'trading' for a company like this? Employees are still employed, the last RNS stated they had stopped recruiting patients which is ethical I suppose.
Read one of the other threads for a timeline, mid to late Aug is 8 weeks after this all started.
The Action Group is following the idea that things have not financially been represented well, and therefore there might be a legal avenue to follow, where will this go? no idea. Where's the money going to come from if they win?
I would say that this is not complicated, reading the last few RNS's would give you a fair idea as to what's going on.
What's complicated is what will the outcome be, if the likes of Merck are feeling generous then we might get a reasonable outcome, a loan perhaps based on what they know of the outcome of recent trials, or preferential terms. But why would they? what's in it for them? they could just offer what's needed to clear the loan for the whole company and get a bargain if they know it's delivering a benefit, the administrator might be inclined to agree to that. If they are not sure how well it's working then why would they do anything? A commercial loan might be a better idea, but having broken the deal on one loan who would lend? Admin will cost them cash, and time (& therefore wages), so they'd need more than if this hadn't happened.
I don't know if the administrator has to wait for the 8 weeks or if they could announce a solution earlier, if they can then i'm less inclined to believe in the beneficial solution as that would have happened by now. If they can't then it could go either way. Personally i'm assuming the investment is gone.
The outcome will determine if they delist.
Could anyon tell me what is going with this share in simple language!!! is it being delisted, is it still trading ?? whats the point in an action group ???
Thank you.
I’d recommend keeping your action group on LSE forum, you never know, some people might be able to help with a class action law suit !
Let DDDD’s administrator do whatever it is they will do to assist Duncan and his preferred investors so to speak.
Ah just saw it. Presumably it is .com ?
Crl123
What is your email pls?
I mean I think they can extend if they need or want more time
So 8 weeks can easily be pushed stretched
I don’t mind if it amounts to anything positive for share holders
But I don’t know - I mean who does
So 19th of August then.
It will be pretty amazing how much shareholders money 4d will have spent if their products work out worthless, or nearly worthless!
A couple more weeks wait then.
I believe it’s 8 weeks from time of administration for them to come with some sort of info for shareholders
I doubt we will get anything but waiting is harder than getting some sort of news
A little life line to scarp up some sort of monies for the shares I hold would be nice
