I've been wanting to get in here for a while but why such a large spread? Sorry for the newbie question...
61m shares 47m MCAP. 4 scientifically proven verticals, patent protected, global reach, significant holdings. It’s all about revenue now, simple as. There is no reason this company can’t build to 100m in revenues from tarmac, Grafysorber and tyres alone. Now that would result in a very interesting SP if Nant don’t buy us beforehand.

Some comment from Iterchimica...
Federica Giannattasio, CEO of Iterchimica, added: “We are proud of working together with Kent County Council and Amey on this trial, which allows us to assess the effectiveness of graphene-enhanced asphalt pavements.
“Gipave, enhanced by G+ graphene produced by our partner Directa Plus, is an innovative technology that allows to obtain longer-lasting, high-tech, sustainable and 100% recyclable asphalt pavements.
“Moreover, we are confident that it will represent a technological breakthrough also for the purposes of maintenance and new construction works, generating environmental and economic benefits.”
“Starting from this year, the new manufacturing plant allows us to begin selling a product that achieves the goals set out by the Green and Circular Economy, as well as those related to the UN Sustainable Development and the Paris Climate Agreement (2015).”

Kent County Council set to trial sustainable graphene asphalt on roads
Thom Morris / 1 min ago
A trial of an extra-strong resurfacing material is being carried out by Kent County Council to prevent potholes and cracks for longer.
Gipave, a graphene-enhanced asphalt, is being used in Dartford and is less likely to soften in the heat or harden and crack in colder temperatures.
If successful, it is hoped the durable material will be rolled out across the county , lowering the costs to the council for maintenance as well as reducing carbon emissions and the amount of disruption to road users.
KCC Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport Michael Payne said: “We’ll be trialling 350m of this new material on East Hill in Dartford, alongside a further 350m with traditional surfacing, and we very much look forward to seeing the results.
“Work will start today (Thursday) and we’ll be laying it on the western side which we’ve chosen to give the material a rigorous test due to the nature of the road layout and gradient.
“Once work is complete on July 2, we’ll be closely monitoring the scheme to see how it holds up against traffic, the summer and the winter weather. We will also be carrying out laboratory testing to have a comparison against traditional materials.”
KCC, along with its contractor Amey, has been working with Italian graphene specialist Iterchimica as the material has been used in Italy’s roads and airport runways.
Laboratory testing in Italy reported improvement in asphalt lifetime of up to 150% for like-for-like replacement and a reduction of raw materials being used of up to 60% over the road’s life cycle.
David Ogden, Business Director at Amey, said: “The Live Labs project is all about working in collaboration to find innovative solutions to sector challenges. We’re always looking for new ways to provide best value for our customers and their communities, so we’re delighted to be working with Kent County Council to trial this new product.
“Using this technology as part of our maintenance programmes could see us create more durable asphalt that could improve customer safety, the lifespan of our roads, as well as reducing impacts on journey time which brings with it many environmental and carbon reduction benefits.”
This trial forms part of the ADEPT Smart Live Labs project in Kent and is one of many trials of key innovations taking place that will enable highways staff to make intelligent operational decisions based on machine learning and data science analytics.
Some of the trials that have been identified include intelligent traffic modelling devices, computer vision that will assess the rate at which the road surfaces degrade and provide information that will assist staff when making decisions on when a new road scheme needs to be built.

Dr Koltsov Graphene / Graphite interview. Previously posted, but posting on a hydrogen forum was told graphene / graphite was a unicorn and graphene was found by luck so will never happen with others chipping in that it would be 3-5 years before anything worth while happened !
What a load of horse doodoo !!! As we know on here Graphene is already in use in the wider world. Narrow minded investors just do not learn. A great video here for those who are NEWBIES ( regular posters will have seen this ).
Very good for those who would like to understand the time scales , qualities and issue's in getting industrial design through ISO and world standard scrutiny , also with a few hints at how countries view general development.

Could GrafysorberOman Petroleum Development Waste =
"In 2017, PDO generated 2% less hazardous waste
– 222,000 tonnes compared with 225,900 tonnes
in 2016. The decrease came from a reduction in oily
sludge generation. We produced 62,200 tonnes of
non-hazardous waste compared to 41,500 tonnes in
2016, an increase resulting mainly from construction
waste due to an expansion in PDO operations.
In comparison to 2016, there was a significant
improvement in the treatment of hazardous waste.
The quantity of naturally occurring radioactive material
(NORM) decontaminated items increased by 33%,
from 19,639 to 26,096, making a total of 45,735
NORM-free tools and tubulars.
In 2017, 22,040 m3 of oil-based mud cuttings and
51,721 m3 of oil-contaminated soil were successfully
treated to meet Ministry of Environment and Climate
Affairs (MECA) specifications. Apart from Nimr, where
oil from sludge is piped to the station, an additional
68,986 barrels of oil were recovered from the sludge,
through our hazardous waste management contract. In
conjunction with the In-Country Value team, a number
of agreements were also signed with local companies
for recycling batteries, plastics, wood and metal drums,
with the result that about 1,646 tonnes of waste were recycled".
There is a lot of news backed up here.
Graphene Asphalt experiment. Thanks Itsyou.
Published May 21, 2020 The graphene asphalt experiment carried out on a section of the Milan-Meda is one of the systems put in place to improve the conditions of the roads in the Milanese belt. It was discussed yesterday during the joint Urban Planning and Mobility Commission of Palazzo Marino. The test carried out in recent months has combined Metropolitan City and Iterchimica who worked on the refurbishment of a stretch of the high-flow artery with Ecopave, an additive to asphalt based on high-performance and environmentally friendly graphene. Result: an increase in the duration of the coat by 250%. The project was funded by a call from the Lombardy Region. "We want to make an experience available, experimenting with certified forms of innovation that bring an advantage of environmental sustainability to the benefit of the community", stressed Arianna Censi, Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan City. But there is also more, such as the imminent realization of a "mapping of road surface anomalies". Not a simple undertaking on 711 kilometers, the network of metropolitan cities, including 150 kilometers of urban streets. Also counted the 3m high bridges, which are 518 and will be monitored with satellite images, and the roundabouts, 300.
The results of the 4-month experimentation are already available, during which sensors were positioned on the cars of two roadmen: 1,493 anomalies were detected, 4 with high gravity. A software scans the road conditions in real time as the car passes. Now, 11 devices have been mounted on as many service machines and detection will start in days. In addition, video surveillance systems will be placed at the staging areas, against the garbage of waste. Returning to the experimentation with graphene, "why not use it in Milan? - asks Fabrizio De Pasquale (Forza Italia) -. The maintenance is not satisfactory, the roads are full of holes. And then more control could be carried out remotely and through the satellite". It is not to be excluded. The technicians specified that " it must be assessed according to the individual roads and the context ", considering for example the average speed of the cars and the frequency of interventions on the underground services. The Councilor for Mobility Marco Granelli highlights that" we must work more and more on the quality of materials and innovation, to achieve greater environmental sustainability. We are building, in agreement with the Polytechnic of Milan, a cadastre of the streets and we have allocated 49 million for maintenance. Not only that: we favor companies that do not bring the scarified asphalt to landfill (demolished at the passage of the milling machine, editor's note) but that reuse it, with a view that respects the environment ". Marianna Vazzana The Councilor for Mobility Marco Granelli points out that "we must work more and more on quality of materials and innovation, to achieve greater environmental sustainability.

Graphene enhanced Tarmac link showing A14 in Cambridge with a guide to how much tarmac, concrete inc bonding. DCTA are on the front foot for UK US & ITALY are going to use GiPave / EcoPave.
https://www.worldhighways.com/wh3/news/aggregate-industries-completes-uk-contract
PS. As RobinHood linked to it is great to see ENI have the tarmac on sale as a super durable option. and I love the fact that the old tarmac is reusable in this scenario, that really makes it the environmental option.
Not only that but in hard to reach inaccessible and thus expensive places it makes it a really good option, (a) you have to replace/repair half as often, and (b) you don't have to send hundreds of heavy vehicles up over other fragile roads causing even more damage.
Smaller job, less vehicles, less logistics, less long term cost, less damage to the roads, less damage to fragile old buildings, and a happy green lobby to boot! What's not to like from the councils point of view? Vote winner! [Oh, the cynic!]
Bought in here on 9th June, now doubled up. Wasted charges, so I hate doing that! (Though it was a better price). But the potential seems huge. Otherwise I hold Haydale for graphene, which I'm up on, but graphene now seems to be delivering in all sorts of areas. Tyres, tarmac, fabric, and pollution clean up are very different. These early uses are starting to deliver revenue, and may be just the beginning.

Graphene Asphalt BULK order overdue !
Good to see other companies like ENI looking at it too.

Graphene enhanced Tarmac ( asphalt ) is going to be a BULK order.
I think Giulio Cesareo said an order has already beenn placed READY for SUPPLY @@ :-
Agreement with Iterchimica to Supply G+ Graphene for Use in Asphalts
Directa Plus (AIM: DCTA), a producer and supplier of graphene-based products for use in consumer and
industrial markets, is pleased to announce an agreement (“the Agreement”) with partner Iterchimica, an
Italian based world leader in products that enhance asphalt performance, for the supply of a special grade of
the Company’s G+ graphene product, known as ITC1. The G+ product is the differentiating component of
Gipave®, an asphalt supermodifier developed by Directa Plus and Iterchimica and follows successful trials in
Italy and the UK.
The Agreement provides for the exclusive supply of the G+ graphene product to Iterchimica in the asphalt
and bitumen sector worldwide and is for an initial duration of three years. The Agreement allows the
partners to take advantage of what they believe are significant existing business opportunities in Italy, the
UK and the United States. The first order for the G+ ITC1 nanoplatelets for asphalt for the production of
Gipave® has now been received from Iterchimica. Results from the UK trials in November 2019 are expected
shortly and we are seeing growing interest from asphalt companies in the UK but also now from the USA.
Gipave® was developed by Iterchimica with the supportof Directa Plus and resulted from a four year research
programme with a patent filed in 2017. In an initial trial in Italy, it was confirmed as providing significant
benefits compared to traditional asphalt in all areas tested: service life, resistance to the passage of vehicles,
resistance to deformation and permanent plastic deformation. In addition, once laid, asphalt with Gipave®
can be 100 per cent recycled, which reduces the extraction of new materials from quarries and first-use
bitumen.
Commenting, Giulio Cesareo, Founder and CEO of Directa Plus, said:“The potential of Gipave® to potentially
triple the life ofroads and runways is attracting significant worldwide interest from the construction industry.
Its ecological benefits will also help countries to meet their carbon reduction obligations and free up
resources at a time when all national and regional governments need financial assistance to fight the current
COVID-19 pandemic.”
Federica Giannattasio, Iterchimica CEO, added: “This agreement confirms and continues a cooperation we
started four years ago. We now hope to work together on the large-scale roll-out of Gipave® and following
the first trial section laid in Oxfordshire, we hope the UK will be among the leaders in adopting graphene
technology for road pavements.”
This announcement has been released by Giulio Cesareo, Chief Executive, on behalf of the Company.
Just got to wait , but it is now probably late due to Iterchimica being in Italy ?
China tyre
We're about due uk Asphalt contracts and those in Bergamo Italy; good to see a director buying who's an advisor to the UK Govt and has a history in construction.
https://www.gov.uk/government/people/david-gann
Please no running commentary on trades(there's more going on behind the scenes) and for your benefit you can't include order book matches(UT's) , as they are matches trades between buyers and sellers in the Auctions, so if you wish to count for yourself ignore those numbers.
Good interest today.
RNS - Trek it is another + and as much as I said the price probably would drop from 88p to sub 70p then news, I ADD one of THE MOST positive pieces of news I was waiting and HOPING for before .... yes before the next step up has now happened.
'IF' there are 2-3 more Director buys within the next week or two which would indicate as a HUGE and I do mean BIG sp movement UP on these buys alone. No news needed for DCTA sp to rise when this happens, the sp just goes up.
if not then I fully expect news x 2-3 MAJOR events, again I am now entering Positive + verging on ULTRA positive if we get one more Director buy within 2 weeks.
Forget the graphene mask, although its great publicity, but my gut is saying news on TARMAC contract-sss and Grafysorber water treatment !
Getting exciting now. Imho new highs are due.
Volume is very good today , teehee things are about to get interesting fellas ( Trek & Itsyou ). Believe. You deserve some pay back for all the good postings.
