DigiSmart was incorporated during February 2022. So now that the test certification has been formalized and DigiSmart can register its interest as a AMISP.
All good news, I feel.
Good Luck all.
LTI.
Whilst this company has been 2 years in existence I think this declaration has come out of blue, could well be very good for CC but investors probably want to know a bit more. Its activity covers medical etc so as well as improving our Smart opportunities are we also diversifying. JC will probably tie all this up at presentation. Are we heading towards Corporate, exciting.
DYOR
Hi Lti ....do you know if Ratna still involved ....interesting
Anyone noticed who one of the directors at DigiSmart Networks is? RAJIV KUMAR
Rajiv was once Director at IntelliSmart and is presently shown as active as director at three Apraava subsidiaries in India smart meter business as well as Cyanconnode and also DigiSMart Neytworks Private Ltd.
These coincidences just keep happening ! I'm wondering whether todays news is a prelude to Cyan et al going for a major award in India sometime soon ....Tamil Nadu would be perfect.

Hi Gizmo,
This link shows the active directors at Cyan PVT and lists GARAPATI RATNAKUMAR as a director of DigiSmart Networks as well as Rajiv Kumar

I couldn’t get a quote to sell my 98000 shares yesterday, but today they will take them all for 8.1p.
Think I will hold on for a bit longer! ;0)
Good morning Vas, tonyj, gizzmo and all,
The possibilities for developing business on a wider scale, has now increased for CyanConnode, in my opinion. And it will be interesting to see what the next order RNS is for ( numerically ), who it is from and CyanConnode's position within the RNS. AMISP or an order from/via an AMISP, as CyanConnode have had in the past.
There are many possibilities and opportunities for CyanConnode within the RDSS, that we have been eagerly waiting for news on, as you have mentioned this morning, Vas. Tamil Nadu is just one, with a zero allocated to the Awarded section in the NSGM report.
As CyanConnode have already delivered on a project for Tamil Nadu, with Genus Power and there are 30,000,000 smart meters waiting to be Awarded, out of the Sanctioned pot, it will indeed be another achievement for CyanConnode should CyanConnode receive an order Tamil Nadu, in whatever form.
Its worth remembering when Cyan, as it was known at the time, first tendered for Tamil Nadu some years ago, the overall opportunity I seem to remember, was 18,000,000 meters. Now it is 30,000,000.
Good Luck all.
LTI.
Quick question LT as i am about to leave the house.
As thing were before todays RNS , if cyan was awarded a so many comms units then they would be paid a fee for each one installed from the AMISP or customer. The AMISP would also recive a small fee , i imagine .
So in future .
However, in future if Cyan was awarded the same award ( awarded themselves) as the AMISP then they will get their original install fee plus the AMISPS fee...question is will Cyan be making more money from each unit via awards through their AMISP service. If so , any ideas? Just thinking out loud! GL Vas
Thank you vascular 🙂👍
Good evening Vas,
I am not aware of any payment structure in connection with AMISP's. I would think it will be something similar to other RDSS contractors - that being on a percentage basis. There may be something written down somewhere, but I cannot specifically remember.
For this type of contract, I might suggest a two-tier system, where the AMISP - in this case DigiSmart - would get a percentage of the overall contract, as a management fee, in staged payments over the duration of the installation contract ( 27 month's ), with a lower percentage of the fee, for the Support & Maintenance contract ( 7/8 years ).
CyanConnode would still charge for the Omnimesh modules and any ancilliary bits and pieces, as they normally would.
And to answer your question more directly, I think that CyanConnode as a Group, overall, definitely will be making more money.
But we will have to wait and see how the potential contracts unfold, going forward and how long we have to wait to see our first AMISP contract and from where.
I hope this helps.
LTI.
It is interesting that CC has engineered itself into this. I think it will get great returns. I thought that AMISP was bigger fish. We had cyan>connote (IPv6)>omni>ceĺlular>now AMISP.
So we developed enough to cover all aspects of Smart Comms, now we are moving into management side of contracts, could develope into much larger company.
Have I got my facts right, DYOR
Morning LT and All.
Thanks for your reply.
Its hard to imagine that both Genus and Cyanconnode are designated AMISP status and both advertise "that they can provide end-to-end energy solutions to power utilities".
How this plays out in future tenders, and whether Cyan will use Genus to manufacture their awards (meters and comms) , we will hopefully find out sometime soon.
Good afternoon Vas and you are welcome.
I would imagin that there might be some " horse trading " that will go on, with various Company's, as there is plenty to go around. I am sure they will be able to negotiate their way through.
Take care Vas.
LTI.
When this RNS came up I thought that's going to cost a few bob. Then I went back a couple of years to the announcement of taking on 67 additional staff and thinking where are they going to stuff them. So may be most costs are already priced in. DYOR
That 'We're hiring' stuff was last May, not a couple of years ago.
Which announcement are you referring to?
Fair enough ITT. The fact remains already costed How many of those are in place we have not been told. Hopefully only engaged when necessary.
Morning Tony and All.
This article shows ( under Project Costs) what costs and responsibility's AMISPS are required to take on when they win a smart meter award .
[
We have seen the likes off Genus and others partnering with financial institutions so to give them maximum reach during the tendering process.
Can Cyan also access the same financial resources now they are a AMISP?
The report states
"Given the strong revenue visibility under the AMISP contracts, coupled with the DDF mechanism, Indian lenders, both banks and NBFCs have demonstrated sufficient appetite for funding smart metering projects and are keen to fund reputed players entering the segment".

Hi vascular ...rec ..mou.. Gujarat.........21 billion ....nothings stopped ...only the markets misinterpretation of how value creation is calculated ..🤣
Tony if CC really did hire the 67 mystical staff do you think they have all been sitting about paid since last May waiting for this.
Morning Gizmo,
Are you thinking that Cyan ( AMISP) is linked to the RECPDCL pact with Gujarat made in Jan 24 for smart metering projects worth Rs 2,094 crore !
