Just had another email from MC
Bandings gone up a bit!
That increase would be mitigated because those are the bandings for two or more members of the same family group. So the 25,000-35,000 band would end up being much less expensive if covering, say, four members of the same family lumped together, rather than each of them paying individually for their own lower band.
As said those new banding’s are for 2 or more claimants at the same address, it provides a discount to the individual bandings.
The original individual bandings are towards the bottom of the email.
Not pouring water on it as i'm grateful for all the efforts and to be involved but, my last post pointed out that between me and the wife we hold just over £40k but, collectively would have to pay £550+VAT (the same as £50k+ banding) this new banding means we now have to pay £575+VAT... so we'll not be grouping together on that basis.
Said it before but the fairest way would be proportional cost based on amount invested ÷ total amount in the group, after pro forma applications have closed.
Still in, obviously, but not sure why that isnt being looked at as when it comes to any payout being divided up (after costs) it will be allocated on a proportional basis. Won't it?
I disagree. There's no way i could go it alone and this money was written off, with all the stresses and arguments that causes.
My point was simply that if we win and share a payout of any size it will be allocated proportionally so why aren't the costs treated in the same way. Its a 5 min job on ex
Yes family rate increases our fees as well for 2 people. Cheaper to stick with individual rates.
I understand everyone's situation will be different, the way i see it with £40k gone then £550 to get even 10% back is worth it.
The alternative is spending the next few years checking the canadian obituaries until i can finally move on from this outright theft. I hold my hands up to all my previous bad investments, but this was something else much worse.
I still have my copy of the Ryder Scott report (thanks Unknown) which proves this wasn't a bad investment, just bad actors involved.
Well that's about an 8 bagger 😲
Just a quick question when filling out the proforma where it says number of shares amount loss and dates does that mean we have to write out each transaction purchase, I have many purchases who are boys unfortunately averaging down
Would that be the case in of downloading the order page in your portfolio
or do you put the total amount lost £..... The number shares own and the date we start investing in copl
Many thanks
HWGA, so you invested 35k to 50k and you appear today, is the brain cell working today!

Just for full clarity. Mr Cotter is representing those with both crystallised and uncrystallised losses. Hold or sold, you can claim.
CAG
The below were the same arguments you used when you were a Marine Fish.
"No RBL
No PRODUCTION INCREASE
No JV
Bla, BLA, BLAAAAA"
Guys. The bandings aren’t sinister. It’s your choice to go the cheapest route either individually or collectively. Simples. Be positive. We won’t get another shot at this.
I'm going ahead with this. Sitting and carefully sifting through my history with COPL shows a pattern of believing the company to be a hidden gem, based on the information we had available, only to invest heavily and lose money due to inaccurate production expectations, dilution and hype.
I bought and sold out of COPL in a big way 3 times - each time believing this has to be the time. Each time I lost more and more of my investment pot until it almost gone. It will take me years to recover.
I don't want them to get away with this so I've made my own mind up. Don't be influenced by anyone on here about not taking part. There is a case to answer
It would be worth £500 to just raise awareness of what can happen to honest people who get caught up in something like this.
Agreed. I'm definitely in. Whatever happens, I really want to get this into the media and Mr Cotter seems to be the man to do that. Hopefully there will be some prison time for several people. No wonder companies are not listing on the London exchanges.
