Jolly. Nice to see it holding the gain and finding a new floor. Some nice juicy new orders will push this.
probably not....
but will this really burst thru 10-12p (that's been its ceiling for years now)
without more good newsflow fairly soon??
top up...
yep, all good points except t's likely that all ships will drop to some extent...dlg, gsk etc didn't fare that well in early/mid March
If you have a cash mountain, why wait to invest some of it into a high-yielding FTSE 250 defensive share?
After a tragic amount of research into DLG, how it compares to its peers like Admiral etc, and looking into number of car accidents, average car insurance premium reductions, and even things like DLG's savvy pre-COVID Travel insurance Reinsurance purchase, I genuinely think there's going to be a huge earnings surprise over there that'll trigger a big rise in the share price. Wouldn't want you to "miss the boat" (what a cringe phrase haha sorry!)
After 2 years now back in the black, will hold for a while now.
Directors will be laughing with their repriced options. With the report showing the market is there they actually need to deliver big time with no more jam tomorrow excuses, I believe this will be juniper led.
often, the reason for a rise/drop in a sp is *the* most important single fact/perspective
Any ways, who needs a reason for the rise ? So long
as it keeps rising just enjoy it whilst it lasts..
Soemthing will come out in the wash sooner or later..
I think I'll stay with invested here for a while and see where the share price goes. Too often I've sold early only to see the share price rise substantially.
Incidentally, cheers Jolly for flagging this stock. I've watched your stock picks over time and have had much success from investing in several of your picks. Some being multi baggers. Many of them being solid companies, divi paying, with low PE ratings and less of speculative punt. Cheers for posting your point of view.
& is now back on its upwards trajectory
If you look at the size of the addressable market (huge and growing), you can (as always) get v excited here
Or look at AVAST's multiples (EV/rev for instance)
I like the look of DLG, but am in no rush to deploy my cash mountain lol...
also its sp chart makes me feel I can wait
tks for the flattery!
Jolly,
Hope you're keeping well
I agree - I would've expected more of profit-taking and a sell off this week too but the share price has actually held up surprisingly well thus far. Will keep my eyes peeled if it falls back somewhat because it appears as though CNS has something about it!
In the meantime, and out of curiosity, did you make a decision on my new pet fav share "Direct Line Group" (DLG)? Soz for asking you this here but am just interested to hear your thoughts on my recent posts on that bb.
Well done once again on CNS and CSSG lately. You seem to be picking a lot of winners!
Anybody know what the report actually says (it’s a bit expensive) as it contains a competitive assessment. Must say that forrester and gartner are The reports most purchasers lean too.
Could be right but why a sudden spike..
Something, somewhere has instigated it ..
Nevertheless it is very welcome..
Dodge,
One reason I was thinking about was the valuations of similar companies in the report, U.S. sofware companies (especially saas) are on ludicrous valuations and maybe cns seen as a real outlier.
Whilst the reason for the rise has not been identified
as yet despite the ongoing rhetoric on this thread, the
fact remains, the SP has held most the the rise, so far.
Further to which, I am fairly confident that this not just
a P&D exercise as the dumping would have been well
underway by now after a circa 60% "pump.
As I have posted last week the volume of buys could not
justify the rise.
It remains a mystery but I am becoming more convinced by
the hour that there is some news of some nature going to
come out...and obviously the SP spike would indicate it to
be of a positive nature.
Unless someone has a alternative theory I will stick to my own
current one and keep my fingers crossed I have "guessed" right.
pls do filter...it'd be a joy!
tks for yr invite to twitter, but no thanks...
btw, since you don't post all your trades at the time how helpful if your "ytd"? (rhetorical q)
literally, not all on Friday
xx
facts change, I change my mind...and you?
ah, the genius returns...
yep, impossible to know ofc...prospects remain excellent, but there have been so many false dawns (hence the perennial threat of yet another placement if sales don't accelerate quick enough over the next 6-12 months)
my guess: a little profit taking, amid a wider market risk/sell off next week
So what you're all saying is the rise is due to the MMs putting the price up because of this report.Nothing to do with an increase in buys.In fact there were almost as many sells as buys, which is obviously down to the sudden rise.I don't have a clue which way it will go from here.
....at least the company won’t need to release the dreaded ‘we see no reason for the share price rise’ RNS!!!
sure...but nothing substantial/new
I'm a little disappointed that sp jump's probably not triggered by a leak lol
(of an announcement re huge new sales order)
what's needed to sustain rise/spike is increasing visibility on lots of new sales
Least we have a reason for the rise, so should give people some confidence.
all depends how bullish "we" want to be about prospects...
I'd be delighted to top up sub 7p
if the market offers that opportunity
