Must have been in Turkish Lira because a share price of £28 in 2011 would have valued the company at £28 billion, which is about £40 billion today (accounting for inflation)!
I think that's what kids refer to as a "full send"! 🤣
Posted a link to an adult website..and was never seen again 🤣
😆😆🤪🤪
I believe it was 28.80 Turkish Lira 👍🏻
Didn't Fenner go on about £28.80 a share, Bob that makes my sub £5 look tame
Hope you have not sold too many of your Condor holding in the last few weeks Seingred as we must be into the homestretch. Maybe just a few signatures left. We will see. Upside is looking very interesting and personally the biggest win for PIs would be a JV where we keep our shares in the company as then we would probably allow Condor to head for £1+ but if its all paper from Callibre they will probably quadruple over coming year and then get taken over by a bigger fish so would be happy with that and maintain some exposure to condor through them as being exposed to producers last 12 months has been the place to be. Explorers will probably start catching up this year as M&A takes off.
Punter, Seingred, Connect, Nero et al…
Anyone got the number for the mad Turk Fenner, or Jibbo?
The golden invite tickets are soon to be issued for the sale party, and we’ll need to dust off the Golden bird costumes that have been gathering some dust for the last c. 12yrs!
Might need to get some younger belly dancers though as the previous incumbents have almost certainly retired…
Tick tick tick BOOM!
Well done. Could double again making for 4 bagger. Worth bragging about!
What's profit?
In at 15p now 100%+ up
As I've said for a while, chart wise a close above 34p would be good and was laughed at for saying this a week ago, at 28.5p, yet here we are knocking on 34p, next big test will be 36p, then it's clear above this, all the way to the mid 40's. I may take some profit if it struggles with 34p, will see how it goes.
Also, HL will take 150,000@33.11 so there is definitely liquidity out there right now!! They wouldn't quote me 50,000 a few months back!
That many of us continue to be significantly underwater.
This is a correction to roughly where should have been sat for the last several years before the Great Hammering.
Of course looking forward to some news, but I like many people here need to see 40s before even a break even.
Momentum is building, but if there were a leak we'd see the sp jump straight to the offer price! So I conclude this recent rise is probably PIs building positions due to:
1. The much higher gold price
2. Recent publicity regarding the sale process
I do also wonder, everyone here that was moaning constantly about the time it was taking to do a deal, had MC/JM agreed to a low ball offer would those same individuals now be moaning that they sold too cheaply?! Probably! :D
This is nosebleed territory for the Condor SP.... there has to be a RNS this week.
HL offering a sell at 33.56p just now so there’s a move on for sure
Looking like a new 52 week high which is currently 34p set on 2nd May 2023, is coming very soon.
Just been offered £0.3327p for a dummy trade, up 6% according to investing.com
Now Up 6.35% on volume of 216000.Full ask 33p has been paid several times and the sp is now 33.5p so it’s clearly going higher.
The actual spread is nothing like it's showing. 32.5p to sell 32.6 to buy.
Market certainly looks like it is expecting news.
Spread looking expectant
Positive start to the week as Condor continues to rise up 1.59% to 32p.
Surely news this week?! Otherwise Jim's idea of 'very, very close' is markedly different from mine, lol
Some great thoughts on Equinox as i had not really considered but Ross still owns a stake i believe and given his deep knowledge of Nic it would make some sense at this time given the avalanche of cash miners are making currently but most suffering from a considerable value mismatch. I think what is happening is Calibre and other producers are racing to get on the radar of a takelover when they reach 500k ounzes. Calibre could do it in 12-18 months on back of Masthsn buy and Condor and if they do that they could quadruple their shareprice and be a target for next wave of takelovers. Shame Condor did not prove up more of its 5-10m ouze district but i think it counts for a fair bit of why the takeover has taken time. Still hoping for a JV or go into production update but suspect we are now too far down the sale to pull out. I expect Condor to push on this week as we are crazily undervalued and barely more than book value. gla
It is important to remember that the 600000 ozs in the BFS are the tip of the iceberg. A buyer of CNR is also aware of all the other work that has been done:
“ The current mineral resource estimate on the project area is prepared in accordance with NI 43-101 comprising an indicated mineral resource of 9.85Mt at 3.6 g/t gold for 1.140M oz gold and 5.9 g/t for 1.88M oz silver and an inferred mineral resource of 8.48Mt at 4.3 g/t for 1.179 M oz gold and 8.2g/t for 1.201M oz silver, all contained within a 9km radius within the La India Project area. “
We also know that Mark has said this is in all probability a 5million oz gold district and there aren’t many of those that are shovel ready on the planet just as a gold and commodities super cycle is underway. The success of the next door miner Calibre acts as a case study. If Jim can’t get a really good price now and repeat his Uramin sale I think he needs to hang up his boots and retire!
I am very pleased with my investment in Equinox which I think will rerate when Greenstone goes into production in the next couple of months. I hadn’t thought of Equinox taking an interest in CNR but it is a Ross Beatty company and he was a shareholder in Condor. I still think it is a compelling opportunity for Calbre as they can start producing almost immediately and get their acquisition cost back very rapidly at the current gold price.
Yes Newmont is having a nice run which should have a long way to go. Newmont’s better than expected results saw the worlds largest gold company rise 12% in a single day which I suspect is unprecedented, but is a reflection of just how cheap gold equities remain even after the moves seen in the last month.
Hi cf. reserves of over 5.5 m oz as opposed to Cnr 600 k . $1.25 b construction complete and sub $1k aisc. Also 14 yr production rather than 8. 1 m oz production not too far away for equinox. Surprised nobody sees them as possible purchaser .
I hold calibre and equinox however I still expect it to go Chinese.
888, nice run in newmont!
