And would cut out half the cr@p through arguments on this board.
Type into Gemini or Chat GPT at what stage MTLs Mine Build is at.
Right now, the build at La India is hitting a massive stride. According to the company's operational updates, overall project construction has just crossed the 50% completion mark and is tracking slightly ahead of schedule.
Engineering & Design: Virtually finished at roughly 85% complete. The heavy lifting on the blueprints is done.
Bulk Earthworks: 100% complete. All the major land clearing and grading for the plant and the Run-of-Mine (ROM) pad are finished.
Civil Foundations: Past 65% complete. The concrete foundations for the heavy machinery are pouring smoothly across the site.
Major Equipment: The primary crusher has already been physically installed, and the reclaim tunnel structure is structurally complete.
⛏️ Mining & Stockpiling
Pre-Stripping: The team has already begun stripping waste rock from the initial two starter pits (La India Phase 1 North and Phase 1 West), moving roughly 728,000 tonnes of material.
Commissioning Ore: Crucially, they are already stockpiling actual gold ore. There are currently over 94,000 tonnes of low-grade commissioning ore sitting on the pad waiting for the mill to turn on.
On-Site Lab: The physical laboratory building is finished, and global inspectorate Intertek has been brought in to run it. They are beginning on-site assaying (testing the gold grades) this quarter, which slashes the old 8-week wait time down to a few hours.
