LMA interpreted my earlier post as a negative and had to get a dig in about CNR as I came from that side. I didn't see any negativity at Simms (ex (CNR) for his impossible timescales, it just seems like original MTL holders have to defend and big up their company. It's like to rival football teams on here sometime but with the violence....... there's always the AGM lol

Believe it or not many CNR holders agree with you about the opportunity else we'd have sold up and gone elsewhere.

Even 12 months gives plenty of time to commission to smash time frame for production end of 26

Simms bolted in 4 months or so.

The plant won't be onside for 5/6 months so 12 months at the very best before it's bolted together hiccup free dismantling and reassembly.

Simms as long they get it out of Nome before the Bearing Sea freezes for the winter around the end of October.

This gives us an 8 week leeway for any hiccups in the dismantling

I was invested in La India not CNR and still am.

The best time to sell will be 3 months before 1st gold pour or a couple a years or so after just depends on your individual circumstances.

The is a discussion board and like it or not ex CNR make up a huge % of the shareholding now and should be allowed to discuss previous events, although I admit some do drone on, but you get that on all boards.

Having sold over 2.2m MTL @ 6p soon after the deal and took the cash equivalent for pocket money, I'm still holding 5.85m and hoping for atleast double the sp during the mine build.

You're missing the point of the posts that started this, incorrect facts were stated, then corrected.

Agree on the grieving though, you should only invest money you can afford to lose, especially the Wild West also known as the AIM.

Surrey, I have have been in contact with MC since 2009 on a regular basis and I can confirm what Sun99 is saying is true, I would guess JM didn't want to fund the bluff anymore, nor fund the mine.

The way I see it MTL was generating cash from a dwindling resourse with a couple of maybes.

CNR had a 2.4m oz resource with the possibility of a 5 to 10m oz district but no cash to build a mine.

Depending on which side of the fence posters either know more about MTL or more about the Nic resource.

It's embarrassing the tit for tat posting, basically both companies needed what the other had and MTL facilitated away of CNR holders to more than likely realise their investment in the resource with some cash to tide them over, whilst securing and ramping up cash generation for ALL MTl holders.

So play nicely.

As far as I can see there seems to be an added bonus.

My 35p warrants in CNR (6.05p MTL) were due to expire June this year, but the new MTL warrants expiry seems to have been reset to 3 years again, according to today's RNS and the paperwork received the other day.

If MTL producing Gold at La India is not worth double the exercise price I will as they say eat my hat.

At least I was honest with my holding etc, although I did add another £100k worth at 19p, so I break even on the 1st CVR payment for the ones I've sold.

As mentioned before I was using profits from other trades, prior to and during my accumulation of CNR shares.
