....on good volumes, but offer is unconditional, so presumably just the bidder hovering up the balance!
I sold out most of my star quality growth stocks at the beginning of June as they all seemed to have peaked and all have been on a bit of a downward spiral since then. Maybe the age-old market adage of sell in May and go away might have been the best approach but it was sell in June instead. Sell AVN 5 years ago in May 2012 was the best idea for that one. Never know a buyer might come up with 265p for AVN. Good luck MTB.
Thanks SS - well, always nice to get one right - certainly have a few strugglers at the moment!! Just need to find something else to recycle the money into - probably won't be AVN...;-))
Well done MTB. I was looking at this recently as sp had come down so much and had seen your comments but missed the boat. Not a bad offer but as always would have expected at bit more.
Well, there it is, cash bid at 265p. Slightly disappointed actually as I think this would have been worth far more than this in a year or two, but can't complain really! The deal was kept well under wraps though - stock price has been falling steadily in recent weeks!
I cannot believe the stock is stall falling here given the fundamentals, the valuation and the quality of management. Perhaps I'm missing something, but this looks an absolute bargain!
Been buying today at 191p today. Consensus this year is 35p per share, but statements from the Company talking about a 'Material' improvement make me think this is conservative. Either way, this still puts it on 5.4x this year's earnings with all the court cases behind them.. Even if next year is 'more challenging', and eps falls back to 30p (which I don't think it will) 6x 2018 earnings still represents good value for this excellent well-managed Company. My target for year end is £3, and I think the interims later in the summer will start this process for real. GLA
Pretty big drawdown on no news here. I'm definitely a buyer here , below £2.
Still hovering around the 245p level, waiting for the next event to push them higher or lower. I'm bullish though.
Been around 2.30-2.40 for a while any drop to lower range sparks buyers. Can see this setting new high above 2.50 next week.
Nice breakout from 15th March.
Yep, it looks a reasonable bet to me. Whilst one legal case is still outstanding, one has now been removed. The company is growing orders and the top line again and the higher oil price has relieved the pressure on their clients. Cash flow is strong, and the divvy has now been re- based. Key point is that the stock is still on less that 7x earnings which looks too cheap to me give. The business dynamics and risk reduction. I don't see why this can't get back to 2.50 by the summer.
tipped in IC yesterday.
...when I saw the divvy being halved this morning, and the lower op margin, but happy that the market is focusing on the revenue generation, order book, and greater certainty following insurance settlement.
Cape is now almost ahead of the flag pattern and "should be" on the next leg up. Watch and wait.
Looks to have good value, prospects and dividend. Coming off from the 139p low of a downtrend and I'm expecting the reversal to continue in 2017. Today's gap up means a new leg to the upside and 200p is realistic.
Good to see some positive press on cape on being over sold I can see this hitting 200 within the month
An RNS from Henderson from Below 5% to 6,647,889 - 5.48%
There was a reason for the breakout and large trading yesterday, news were around of today's delivery of such a good news. On the chart now the next target is 220p and still will be very cheap 3 month chart http://uk.advfn.com/p.php?pid=staticchart&s=L%5ECIU&width=750&height=380&p=3&t=1&dm=2&vol=0&cb=
Company comes out with cracking RNS, and you want to post about a single share trade NMH? Excellent statement regarding results. Current eps forecast is around 25p.' Materially ahead' could mean anything, but let's say 30p, gives us a PE today of less than 6x, plus continued contract wins helps visibility going forwards. Yes, the legal claims are still there and represent real uncertainty, but you have to say this is in the price when you consider the underlying business, and the quality of the management.
Trade went through this morning... You do get the occasional trickster .....
Not closing UT at best of the day but good enough closing UT 16:35:26 152.00p UT
slowly picking up on price 152.50p +2.75 (+1.84%)
151.675p +1.875p A couple of large trades at 150p resistance point has finally done the job and share price has moved forward 2 month chart
It took a long time to go higher, but today was the day, and at the end plenty of "AT"s @ 150p but the UT was just short at 149.50p +4.25p so looking much better on the charting front http://uk.advfn.com/p.php?pid=staticchart&s=L%5ECIU&width=620&height=350&p=1&t=1&dm=2&cb=
