I get fed-up of checking if there's any news, so don't bother and promptly miss this lol
Everything crossed for next month then.
I still think if we're successful, ROI will go for a deal to avoid the possibility of a total loss at another tribunal, but I may be wrong. We can but hope. GLA
Got offered 2.7p for mine today. Creeping up.
In my HL account, Churchill Mining Plc was at 1.8p for ages and ages. Then, it went to 2p, 2.2, 2.4 and today 2.6p.
At HL, there is no online auto trade.
So, with the CHL NEX RNS stating that a decision is due, there is sp life?
Ho Ho, my 520 shares as a Xmas punt may yet provide a treat at McDonalds.
thanks for the link:)
where is this RNS issued, NEX? is it possible to post a link please, thanks
Today's RNS -
The Company wishes to advise that following the Annulment Hearing held in Singapore on 16 & 17 July 2018, the ICSID Annulment Committee has advised that it currently anticipates that its decision will be rendered on the Company's Annulment Application by mid-March of this year.
now chaps - hope it is good
Deja Vu!
I see ROI is going big on environmental issues with promises to clean-up plastic from waterways. A big coal resource doesn't sit too well with that, does it? A good reason to get this sorted and avoid any embarrassing headlines perhaps?
Something needs to happen soon or we'll die of boredom!
I swear it's the same position as last year haha!
Best of All for the new year .
one day rodders
To all holders.
I have written this off in my mind but it would be wonderful if justice finally prevailed in the New Year.
ICSID....How about a nice present for us? ?
All the best to the rest of us waiting!
Thanks Fregatr. No surprises and I dont suppose much discussion really, as everyone knows this is a waiting game now and CHL are in the dark as much as we are. Wish they'd get on with it.
Result of AGM
Churchill Mining Plc announces that at the Annual General Meeting of the Company, which was held today, all resolutions proposed at the meeting were passed.
END
This is getting tedious now!
Still think if it were an outright refusal for the annulment we would have heard by now. But then again!!
Seriously would have thought most points would have been covered in the original case. This is just a question of whether correct procedures have been followed?
Looking unlikely before Christmas now, but you never know.
Waiting!
considered to be close to the average time it takes for a panel to review and release a decision.
Why March 2019?
Not sure we will hear anything until maybe March 2019
This is taking an inordinate amount of time! I did think when there was the awful earthquake in Indonesia that they might release news supportive to the Government. So maybe the fact they didn't and the subsequent delay is a positive as they don't want to kick the Government when they're down with the annulment granting ... said with rose tinted spectacles firmly on!
Very true, but would be good to know. One might say that if they were going to throw out the annulment they would have done it quickly, but you never can tell. They might be deliberating or it might be siting on a shelf waiting to be looked at !! Patience is wearing thin
Arbitration is a long winded and often slightly confused affair .
Nowadays even if you win judgement ,getting paid can be a tremendously long and withering process.
Patience is needed.
Best of All
Ok, so we're now at about the same point they made their judgement last time ( 2mths from final submission).
Would be nice to know ICSID please!! At least before Christmas!
Yes the spelling out of the appeal covering just 6 identified reasons does make it look compelling.
The AP must be wondering how they deal with this, as the original panel do look have stuffed up badly. Should the AP dismiss Churchill's appeal they will have to cover all 17 points. This in the knowledge that a Judicial Review will forensically examine all steps and evidence. Will such an examination pass such a test?
