A5 on test Monday and hopefully an rns to confirm. I wounder if they have optimised the choke size. Exiting times
They've had long enough to optimise the choke size, and makes sense to take the time and have it from day one at ultimate barrelage .
Quaytec - they've perfed 63 metres and will have been trying out different choke sizes and different levels over the last 19 days ... the confirmed flow rates once they flow from multiple zones might be interesting.
Coffeecups so you are a secret Open University engineer by the looks of things!
In your spare time!
Hi David,
the last time they flowed A5 it was blocking with drilling mud and carbonate fragments then the metal from the fishing equipment until it slowed from 3800 to 1000 bopd and they shut it off - they did not use Baker Hughes new specialised acid cleaning technology on it so the well bore could have been heavily clogged but still able to record 3800 bopd when it ran intermittently for 15 days.
It will be interesting to see what the flow rates from ST3 are finally confirmed at - if they have been getting 1500 from 7 metres (as per Elicence Flare Licence) then it could really be exciting times as the RNS did say they had perked 63m of net pay ....
perfed
I prefer "Perked" even if I do say it myself... ;0)
I'm sure they have the correct choke I place by now and know exactly what flow rates are, as I doubt very much this would be going on flow test unless it's been flowing already for xx days with no mud shows.
My prediction was 25p this month and I am sticking with it. A5 flow test should just about do it Imo
Quaytec ... so am I mate.
2 things that have become apparent to me in recent weeks casp and fdbk ... have reduced to only 3-4 holdings at any one time to be able to research them and network in depth.... both have similar bod operating procedures of trying to run under cover as they progress....neither have been able to completly hide their solid progress.
So.... What will we open at tomoz...?
9p ... wait for Clive to confirm it ... think 1st flows will be gentle then later weeks RNS will show increased flows as they gain more confidence in opening up further zones ... 63 metres of net pay it should be highly productive in time ... initially keep it at 1500 for cashflow to pay BH to fix the other 3 wells.
12p
Jacksdad, what complete and utter rubbish
I have no clue.... thanks. Have you anything else you’d like to share with us?
Jacksdad, nope just need to wait 11 days to prove you wrong :)
I have no clue...maybe instead of spending the day deramping here and on ADVFN you could do something constructive and tell your broker to buy before you miss out. I have no idea what the price will be at the end of the month. Just enjoy you trying me to make me look foolish. Did you buy at 2.9p...I did
Jacksdad/flawless, it isn't deramping saying this won't hit 25p by end of the month it is just a simple look at the facts.
Get a clue what you are talking about BEFORE you post. And I feel REALLY sorry for Jack. What a pitiful whiny role model you are.
Ihavenoclue - I agree with you 24.5p it is then by month end ... or 30p .....
2.4p is my lowest so a 10 bagger on that tranche very possible.
If you look at the increasing production curve for MJF.
Doubling of that curve production curve just by putting a choked back version on A5 on test 21 days ago.
Acid workover solution for 3 more deeps.
NOTE the RNS says production kept steady by using different choke settings - people read that and assumed the pressure is dropping off already and its no good etc.
The last time they flowed it straight at 3800 under the Vodka and Hammers Brigade and blocked it pretty much straight away.
This time they have been circulating the mud and taking out 1500 bopd, then as the flow rates increased, rather than risk the well and over flowing it to pull too much mud into the well bore they have choked back the flow rates to continue this process nice and slowly.
Once they are another 30 days in they can open the chokes for the CPR readings....
Compare the depth here to Tengiz wells that flow 8 - 12k bopd not impossible that we are in for a treat come Feb / March.
Lets not forget it is -3 degrees here in Devon so it must be parky in Kazakhstan so I would not be so hasty in expecting too mich too quickly. BTW this is not deramping as I have a pretty decent holding here !
Mr C - was in Petrockstowe recently - couldn't believe hoe quiet the place was ....
CC totally agree the news is market sensitive and all over social media but the license is FROM the 20th doesn't mean they've actually started flow test yet, but I am sure we will see it later today or first thing in morning.
Quaytec,
I understand what you are saying, it's poss like when they spudded shallow well 150 three weeks before they told us.
Elicence is very accurate... it clearly says on the website and guarantees its authenticity that the electronic information on it is the same as the original paperwork.and this information states ....
01/20/2020 - 04/18/2020
(permit validity period taking into account preparatory and final works.
Ihnc you’ve just shown your true colours with so little provocation...so simple to do...like taking candy from a baby.
I find filtering is the best solution for people who make snide comments.
