"Hay Bert" hmmm Don`t eat hay old bean.
Not old, don`t have a leather chair, never visited a club in PallMall, don`t drink port, certainly not elite.
Just what earth are you on?
Just a working class boy from beautiful Yorkshire who dislikes idiots. I am quite partial to a pint of golden best in our local so if you are visiting I will buy you one and listen to your explanation of your very inaccurate post. Look forward to that ATB.
I just read Long Bailey could become shadow chancellor.
Please, please make it so!!!
Betty says “ Leave the EU but have your vote ignored by the self serving idiots in Parliament. Have the process disrupted by dripping faced morons who only believe in democracy when it suits them, can`t deal with defeat and suffer 3 years+ of tantrums and sobbing from the sore losers __”
Obviously this is exactly the con, in a single sentence, it speaks to me of a spoilt brat, full of entitlement for a vote that was poisoned, probably affected by foreign powers & now proved to be a really stupid thing to do. Part of the biggest ongoing con since Trump.
MPs of course are not there to be instructed (which of course is why a referendum is only advisory) unless MPs vote to hand over power (they didn’t)
So all things being equal, betty’s self serving idiots are actually MPs in possession of the actual facts trying to minimise the damage stupid people have done. Not that the leave campaign ever described what was being voted for.
So leave might mean poisoning the U.K. water supply... but Betty and his ilk still want it.....not that boomers haven’t already taken enough
Thanks Bert. Next time I am north of Watford I will let you know. Perhaps my old mate LT will also be up north at the same time, if he wants can he come along as well ?
Not so lamtree my friend, only stupid people think so
Your welcome NDNICOO, bring Ausnob along for the entertainment. Must be accompanied by an adult though.
Well village, the brexitcons and mr cummings seems to agree with me
What the latest ? 40 pretend hospitals and 50,000 pretend nurses
Oh no custom checks across an Irish Sea border no British prime minister could ever agree to
A leader controlled by a racist who says everyone should wear racism as a badge of honour, a leader who can’t even stand by words he has written
I dunno, I guess once you e opened the food gates of stupid, I guess they think they can carry on with the con?.....
More nurses needing food banks anyone?
Leave voter - me, me, yes please me.
"More nurses needing food banks anyone?"
Aus, the reason many people use food banks has nothing to do with the Conservatives and very much to do with the high cost of property in the UK. If you look back 35 years, the cost of a mortgage in 1985 was affordable on one persons wage. There was a big movement for women's right to work and rights around maternity etc. As time passed more and more married women took to the workplace and market forces eventually pushed up property values into dual income territory. Because of the UK culture of my home is my castle, any increases in wage growth will be funnelled into the property market and sucked away better than anything Dyson could invent and people will still need food banks. The truth is, many people over extend themselves In property, stretch their property affordability to the limit and then use a food bank because all their wage goes on mortgage repayments. The various Governments should invest in financial education courses, so that people learn the limitation of their finances.
Hey Fleccy, I’m one of the few who still relies on experts to fill in gaps for me.
I get the impression it’s not home owners pushed into food banks (although I’m sure you are right in some cases). Obviously there are people who will abuse it, but the poor souls on the other side of that discussion are forced in due to things like zero hour contracts, where one week to the next can go from some work to no work & universal credit. This will apply to people who have nothing & others who are part of the working poor, where they rely on top ups from the state, these people work hard, struggle from day to day & then fall down first time something goes wrong.
There you go again village
Everyone? Are you sure about that?
Did you see BoJo describing his plans for immigration yesterday ? Sending unskilled Eu workers without a job home...... that is exactly what the EU arrangements are, which British governments don’t apply (but Germany & Belgium do)
BoJo agreed with me so much, he’s now selling you EU policy as a reason to get on with leaving....
If it wasn’t so tragic, would be funny
"Obviously there are people who will abuse it, but the poor souls on the other side of that discussion are forced in due to things like zero hour contracts"
Aus, you're just wrong about Zero hour contracts, it suits many to work them and wouldn't work otherwise. Nobody is forced to work a Zero hour contract, so I would suggest that most of the people who work them do it because it suits them.
"Q. What is the current rule on zero hours contracts? Universal Credit is designed to be responsive to fluctuations in earnings. In weeks where a claimant has lower or no income from their zero hours contract job, Universal Credit payments will automatically increase at the next payment date. The flexibility of these types of contracts is attractive to some individuals, but people on Universal Credit are not required to accept zero hours contracts which require exclusivity. "

"Thus, when deciding whether a zero-hours contract constitutes a contract of employment, conferring employee status, the wording of the contract will not be determinative of whether there is, in practice, a mutuality of obligation. The tribunal will look closely at the reality of the agreement. If the reality is that there is a pattern of regular work which is regularly accepted, the tribunal may deem the contract to be one of employment."

Do not underestimate how dangerous Marxist Labour actually is. This isn't the Labour party pre-1970's, this is a rancid vessel of filth with the moniker 'Labour' on the front. Corbyn's been abusing real Labour's history for years. he and his slime conceal their true aims behind old Labour's history when Labour was a party of morality, decency and social conservatism
Always remember Attlee was a vehement Anti-Marxist
Of course Fleccy - i myself may find myself in exactly that position where I can use a zero hour type contract to increase my time at home.
The reality though is in deprived areas, people don’t have a choice of employment so the picture you paint is not correct
Where these contracts exist, for example sea side towns they are open to abuse in lots of ways.
I would guess the people you choose to describe wouldn’t allow themselves to be screwed & in many cases a good thing
But there no doubt these contracts cause misery for the flip side of the coin you use as a one sided example
I think this is nearer the truth for the majority of zero hour contract users, there are example of only 4 and a half hours work.

Here comes the real loon. I’m afraid gentlemen (I use that term loosely) & village that you have far more in common with scheleiel than I do
That more than anything should be a worry
Well thought through village. That’s case for me, I can work any where.
But one I stop thinking the world revolves around me, I can understand moving somewhere like ummmmmm, London from day ummmmmm Blackpool for a low paid job isn’t really possible is it?
In fact moving from somewhere to anywhere for low paid jobs (probably zero hours) doesn’t really work either
Can you imagine a world that’s not you village?
Have you started to day dream concentration camps again village?
Why limit it to people who you think are lazy?
I for accept people like that exist in our society, but recognise there’s also plenty of people who deserve support
Trouble with trying to weed out the bad ones (as you would see it) is the decent people always get caught up in the nonsense. I’d rather not see decent people suffer because of a few bad eggs
The likes of me village? So you think others are self serving?
I really think the mask is falling off again village. I’m sorry to see the ugly side of the leave vote, it always comes out in the end
I think we both know where all this self loathing is village. I’d like to add soulless, embittered & pathetically selfish.
Labour and Blair sold our hospitals off. It now costs us £4 billion a year to rent them back. Why don`t people learn socialism does not work. Now just wait till Corbyns been around for a while. Make that 3$billion look like pocket change.
Let's just leave the Corbyn shi*e until Friday morning.
Bertram - selling off hospitals is the opposite to socialism. As you obviously think this is a bad thing, you’re actually arguing for Corbyn policies because he would be doing the exact opposite
I’d like to think you know you’re arguing against yourself, but I already know how confused you are about everything.
AW - I agree, is there any news about BT this side of the election?. It’s such a big deal for BT.
The point being it was a Labour gov. Or can your slanted twisted view of things rearrange this in your world.
