I'm at my max, but otherwise would also. News will appear, soon and sure enough. MARs findings are as expected, new opportunities appearing at MARs... that Water License is last thing, then on to Thorny River. We are now, explorers and miners :)
Its dropping my average every time. its now 0.915
And its showing as a sell...... a55h0l3s
Wish I could add but I’m maxed out.
Im keeping the faith guys. 100,000 shares, at 0.772 price at 12.49 today.....
Im trying my best here...keeping the faith, everything crossed
They have historically identified kimbalitic rock in both dykes and the accompanied blows. They are now drilling to find where the blows are large enough to warrant economic mining. Remember Marsfontain was only a small blow along a dyke.
In mining in general drilling is to assess resources; gas, petrol, coper, gold you name it..
In diamond mining drilling is to locate the Kimberlite.
diamonds are formed 100 -200 km or more under ground. so if there are surface diamonds there must be a Kimberlite somewhere close. some diamonds on the surface must have being carried away by water.
In short: there are no diamonds without a Kimberlite 'deep volcanic tube that carried diamonds to surface'.
JPW and 799 are of course 100% correct.
This is not a share for the faint hearted. And as it has been said, the share price does not matter if you are a long-term holder, like so many of us are.
But the lack of progress is frustrating. JAHC can only do so much before bigger things take over. And in this case, the South African government are dragging their PATHETIC feet very slowly.
The company remain in discussions regarding Ghaghoo.
But work continues at MarsFontaine, and that give the company, something real and tangible to work at. After all, it is the first step in this company becoming a miner. And that ultimately means we are making money as opposed to issuing shares.
I know it is hard to remain optimistic, but keep hanging in there if you can!!
Agree, there is, a number of opportunities. TR is there, ready, just Water License is taking its time. But it can see excellent returns as a JV. Equally MARs as a holding ground, looks to be as expected, with potential blows and undiscovered areas. News will come, but when ready/able to be disclosed. The diamond market is in crappy way, but the world is. Things will change. We are in stage 2 development from just explorer to JV miner. Patience... is king. I have communicated with James quite a few times, it seems he like us would wish for things to be speedier in the world of permits/red tape, but they are what they are and the BOD team are doing what they can to move forward.
I appreciate the frustration re the lack of updates but if there’s nothing to tell, how can JC issue an RNS?
Based on what we know today, various projects remain ‘in play’ and TR is due to come on stream in H2.
It’s been said 100 times already, BOD is not an investment for the inpatient (not sure any investment is for the inpatient or those that are driven by emotion /gut feel rather than fact..!)
I’ve been here a long time now but many have held for a lot longer than me. I am (relatively speaking) heavily invested as I still believe BOD is very undervalued and has been for some time. The potential at TR is significant (‘company maker’ or not) and you just need to walk back through previous presentations to gauge the potential in the other projects.
Yes, it could fall flat on its face but I have as much faith in JC and the team to deliver as I did the day I first invested in the company.
Whether the SP is at .75 or 1.15 it really doesn’t matter to me. It’s when we get to the 4,5,6+ I’ll need to start to make decisions around selling.
I guess he wouldn't drill without being optimistic.
This share price is very disappointing to say the least from where I’m sitting. Official RNS required soon imo - and let’s hope it’s good! Gla
Everyone after an RNS with plenty of meat on it I expect.
Actually, I think... It's the Telegram group. LTH's are 'discussing with interest' on the group.
I think there might be a V somewhere 🤔 😂
D f in the middle!
Starts with an A ends in N .
Hi Thornyriver. Could you perhaps share detail of the "other place" you are referring to? I honestly think news flow is limited because there is none.
A good debate in the other place yesterday.
JC should read it to get some shareholders feedback.
Some of them have held for a long time.
That’s definitely a curve ball :-)
That’s new kimberlite they’re drilling for!!
The dumps and gravels don’t require drilling.
So they must be thinking there’s a new pipe or network down there.
Happy days :-)
Great to pictures on Twitter of James and the drill (prospecting) new Kimberlite at the MARs site.
Thanks for posting Julian :-)
Sounds as though we’re slowly creeping forward
Patience needed . . . . Still!
Good to hear that. It may be our usual patience is needed... but the tracks and destination are set, and the Diamond train is soon to start loading up for BOD.
He tells me that, at the Symposium, he met a senior officer of the Dept of Water Affairs who will "see what he can do"re the Thorny River Water Use Licence and also that BOD and the contractor are currently investigating kimberlite targets at Marsfontein, which look attractive and if they work out, the contractor has the capacity to at least double production.
So a couple of positives there
Glad to see alongside yourself Ziquarat and myself, a few others have decided to buy in at this price. We are waiting, but good news is soon to be announced, with Thorny River 'ready' to be mined and revenue increasing from that started at MARS.
