That’s definitely a curve ball :-)
That’s new kimberlite they’re drilling for!!
The dumps and gravels don’t require drilling.
So they must be thinking there’s a new pipe or network down there.
Happy days :-)
Great to pictures on Twitter of James and the drill (prospecting) new Kimberlite at the MARs site.
Thanks for posting Julian :-)
Sounds as though we’re slowly creeping forward
Patience needed . . . . Still!
Good to hear that. It may be our usual patience is needed... but the tracks and destination are set, and the Diamond train is soon to start loading up for BOD.
He tells me that, at the Symposium, he met a senior officer of the Dept of Water Affairs who will "see what he can do"re the Thorny River Water Use Licence and also that BOD and the contractor are currently investigating kimberlite targets at Marsfontein, which look attractive and if they work out, the contractor has the capacity to at least double production.
So a couple of positives there
Glad to see alongside yourself Ziquarat and myself, a few others have decided to buy in at this price. We are waiting, but good news is soon to be announced, with Thorny River 'ready' to be mined and revenue increasing from that started at MARS.
Well... ive just put another buy order in for 100,000, if the price drops to 0.75 on the ask.... im currently being offered 0.79 on the ask
I’ll admit I don’t want to see the SP at 0.75 v 0.8 as I topped up at 1p a couple of months ago.
But JSCapper is spot on.
The MM’s are far too happy to drag this down on low volume
Because if you’re selling at 0.75 you are simply throwing your money away and playing straight into their hands.
Yes I’m tiring of the wait like plenty here, but BOD is so so near
And the MM’s know it . . .
I cannot see much selling. Just the few who hoped for a quick buck or have not bothered to research.
I only they could really understand what a massive few weeks we have ahead. Just to put it in perspective we all know the Thorny River water licence and mining permit is just around the corner. Why would anyone sell at this moment? As I say 500K's worth of shares here and there does not constitute a sell-off. MMs know what is coming and praying on the weak.
Absolutely! Mine is a decent bitter! I'll reciprocate the pint :-)
ThornyRiver - I have bought a grand more this week, but many of us are already holding fairly substantial amounts. BOD is pretty much and people such as ourselves. The sells are in the scheme of the MCAP... very tiny. BUT, it does move that SP around a lot. Also, if you wanted to buy say £10k... you probably couldn't... as the amount in float is small. The SP is of course important, but only as such over a longer period than a few weeks. 8 weeks ago, we were around 1.10p.
JP
Spot on. When this comes good I’ll track you down and buy you a pint 👍
The market has continually failed to recognise the transformational steps BOD has been making over the last couple of years. Explorer to producer with excellent near term and long term potential, being led by arguably one of the best in the business.
Happy to continue sit tight and wait for as long as it takes. Even the mother of all good RNS’s won’t see me offloading.
I’m of the opinion that patience, and lots of it, will be very well rewarded.
You may be right but then there should be buyers not sellers. I don't like it. If its so great why sell?
The general market has seen downward pressure... lack of news has been a concern, but I think that is more likely because a lot is going on, and we hope to see the fruition from that. Given the shares held, the amount moving is fairly small in values. It is churning because of course you are correct, the lack of RNS news means many are feeling jittery... which is understandable... except, the news out has been MARS positive, TR is next, just waiting on final pieces of paper I believe... then off we go. Prior to where we were, we were an explorer only. Now, we are still an explorer but also a miner, with funds coming in. The markets/rest have not noticed this yet... but will when the next RNS's come out with figures/permits etc. Patience is difficult, but in BOD that is needed.
Lack of news.
To dragged out.
Selling pressure will increase.
If all was right we would be higher snd this selling wouldn't be happening.
Very sad.
Worth looking at James's slide show from yesterda- https://www.slideshare.net/JamesAHCampbell1/attracting-funds-to-develop-the-diamond-potential-of-southern-africa
Can I join please?

Yep, just post your username clockman
You just need to post your username clockman :)
Hi Echo,
I would like to join the Telegram LTH group if you can me how?
Correct on share numbers but market cap is what counts.
Number of shares in issue isnt really relevant, market cap is 8-10 million and thorny river alone could give us 20-30 mill profit per year, for several years with minimum investment needed to start mining, then there is the prospect of what special stones could be found and the potential for the resource to be expanded. In my opinion this will be the first of BOD's prospects to come to fruition but there is a pipeline of others also.
Website says 1,043 million shares in issue. So 1 billion. Definitely hurts the look.
An excellent viewpoint 799
Admittedly a lot of patience is required here. But its only a question of whether our revenues will be in the tens or hundreds of millions :-)
Thorny River alone will produce a lot of diamonds. All investors have to do is wait . . .
When the share price drops, as it often does, I make a point of going back over the Marsfontein case study to remind myself of why we’re here, how long these things can take and the size of the prize at the end.
Even with the lack of information flowing I still have absolute faith in JC and the team. They already know what sits under the surface at TR and I’m pretty damn certain they won’t be walking away from it regardless of red tape and delays.
Bots projects
When it comes to the long-term vision for the company, there is only one opinion that matters - and that is James Campbell’s :-)
So I appreciate the question, but it’s not something I’ll answer!
