So ive just been looking at the latest flash broker note by SP Angel:
What I find astonishing is that last year sales were 186.35 million with a cash flow of 6.75p per share and yet our Market capital is less at 174.39 million
This is seriously not correct???!!! as that would mean all our assets within
Vametco
Vanchem
Brits
Mokopane
Lemur
Afritin
Bushveld Energy
IES
Enerox
VIP Platform
$34.4 million cash in the bank!!
all have no financial value????
And yet for example if you were to try and fund/build a replacement plant with an output similiar in size to Vametco i'm
sure you would get much change out of $250 million !!!
Seriously what would you value all those assets at?
That's what makes current SP a farce . Or a joke its not showing its true value even at moment before Bushveld Energy takes off
Gambit. I'm no accountant nut I don't understand your logic there. Sales revenue means little - its profit on those sales that's important. I agree that we could be argued to be worth less than the sum of parts but once again you cant look at the cost of a new build to value an asset - like saying your 10 year old banger is the value of the new model!
I agree profit is profit but sales is still 186.3 million cash coming into the company, its whether you choose pay your tax bill and overheads at the time :-) ok so maybe that was a bad example. I slightly disagree with your last statement in regards to a 10 year old car to a new one.
The reason for this is there is not a surplas market of Vanadium kilns within the world (I personally dont know of any for sale unlike bangers and new cars) so therefore Vametco and Vanchem are both going to have a far higher value ratio against new kilns, does that make sense.
Moments like this are when our resident swingers club have to show their hand because they need a retrace. Keys in the bowl and pick a deramp.
The thing people need to learn is not to give them the time of day when they are being positive too.
Disingenuousness seems to be more contagious that CV19 in the UK at present.
Gambit just posted a financial analysis that makes no sense in valuing a company. Iits sad you cant handle a reasoned challenge to that . I'm happy to see a response that makes sense.
Daisy would you agree that my last comment on my last post makes sense though?
Daisydog a simple question for you. Why do you so often appear to be talking your own investment down? Why are you so often at the centre of negativity?
Please don’t dodge the questions. Just honest answers for an honest investor like myself. You see I can’t understand your logic. It simply defies all common sense to spread negativity about your own investment, especially when the company is as good as BMN.
And the usual replies from our resident idiot ramper. No doubt FB will be along too. If you really think anyone would need a low entry point when the SP has been in this range for months now you need a therapist. And I can assure I'm not looking to buy more.
By the way I noticed that the sellers appear to have made their moves around 8.50 onwards.
What time did the negative posters start up?
If that comment was addressed at me Daisydog our resident idiot deramper then you are a bigger fool than I thought.
Grow up you child.
It's not about not handling a challenge. You aren't worth a serious reply. It is about how pathetic you are and how not worth anyones time your constant childlike moaning is.
For the Record yes Daisy is right in regards to me using sales against market cap , where as I should of used profit! (before or after tax lol)
But also remember you need sales to get profit . The main point I was trying to get across was when you add up all the numbers and values of the the bushveld empire, it comes up to a ridiculously higher value than where we are now???!!!!
And whilst i'm on a roll heres a few more buy ratings :-)

So we are a UK Jersey based company operating in South Africa.
Surely there are other examples of Similiar companies with setups like us eg, Evraz, BP, Glencore, Rio Tinto (ive not checked on these so just presuming) I bet they are not tarnished with the same brush in regards to Sp.
Also what a lot of people fail to see is that Bushvelds main currency is US dollars not ZAR . In all tense and purposes we are in effect a satellite company operating overseas.
Drifter, Daisydog you both bore the plants offme, nothing & I mean nothing positive to contribute. So with regret you are fired, into the green box with you both.
Capa was that really necessary setting up a new false account to take a wind at Knuttie?? Why cant we just all act like adults for once and discuss and promote this wonderful gem extraordinary profit incredibly underated company .
Just thinking maybe Mikhail needs help on the BE side to close some contracts or needs replacing by someone else:
Discuss
Yes i agree with those points Drifter. One other way you could look at though is that they are more established companies offering as you say huge profits to shareholders (presume dividends) We I believe are what you call a growth company, as a rule of thumb Growth companies are given a far higher PE as there is more potential for upside and therefore this is usually reflected in there share price which is what it is not happening with Bushveld at the moment.
Caps Firstly I will defend Knuttie, he has always been a valued poster on this board and his financial knowledge has been appreciated by all, secondly like I said previously could we have a bit of maturity today please, thirdly in regards to Mikhail I was in correspondance with him last month, no need to worry there, I cant say anymore on the matter.
Forthly enjoy the sun and crack open a beer Bushveld people !!
@gambitxjs - How exciting!!!
I have long wondered if the number of shares locked away by confident LTH s might hampered upward movement, those same confident investors broadly having already invested as much as they are able or willing to do, market saturation in a way. We were marked down in relation to the broader market, but without significant sales, so there may not be the buying pressure to push us back up. I understand in AIM MMs have the leeway to adjust the price aside from buying or selling demand. If we have made ourselves somewhat illiquid and the traders prefer short to long, then we will struggle to see the appreciation we think we know is fair. (I eagerly await the dual listing) With the SPs counterintuitive movements I couldn't blame potential investors for holding off in these strange times and with summer and an old adage around now. SA will be a factor certainly, but it is one of many. I remain a strong holder because all information I have available says this should do very very well, just a matter of when it will do so.
Can anyone explain why, like today, the trading suddenly shifts suddenly from almost completely blue to almost completely red without a transition of mixed buying and selling. It's almost as though someone threw a switch.
We have a dedicated trader in and out of BMN for years who wavers in and out.
the biggest trader in bmn is the MM with the stock of shares. they take the price up, suck in some buyers, then drop the price to tease out the shares they want to fill the higher buys, and if that fails they drop further and stuff the tame seller for another 100,000 or two then allow a few buys to take the sp back up, take in more buyers and so on and so forth. what makes it possible is people selling on drops and the backstop of shares which can be introduced by the MM. The selling by PI is encouraged by the moaning and wailing on here. If we could give up the wo is me type posts for a week or so, sentiment may well improve so there is more buying, less selling and more erosion of the tame share pile. IMO
