Thank you Suzy. Like you, I am in for the long haul and if other family members reap the benefit sobeit. We have been here before and a lot lower too and once we have jumped through the next two hoops , I am sure will things will start to gather pace. ATB.
PS Please keep posting.I enjoy your sanity and frankness.
PS Old Chinese proverb...who talk don't know, who know don't talk. ::-)
Thank you FarEnd for your good wishes and atb to you too.
Look around you if you want to see blue, its everywhere. If you didn't take profit from the rise after the concession award, there will never be another opportunity, you've missed the boat.
There's nothing to see here, apparently they told you that, in an RNS. The board isn't talking, what is there to talk about? Sadly, only missed opportunities, which is a shame because there are some decent Lt contributors/investors here.
I hope it will eventually come good for you all, but I somehow doubt it.
ATB.
Andy...Thanks for the information and yes, I have realised that it will take some time for them to make their judgement.
Eric, I know, and we've had a big shock and it's taken some getting over....I'm still hoping it's going to be good and as my mother was found of quoting JP Getty when someone told him you can't take it with you...no but you can leave it behind. Sorry, I'll get me coat as Subtle used to say. Hope he's OK haven't heard from him in a long time...got tired of waiting I expect. On we go then.
It would be nice to have something positive to talk about Sooz. But there hasn’t been a lot of that of late. I’m pleased that Ulla has gone, if she wasn’t the right fit, but at the same time disappointed, if you know what I mean.
Anyway, maybe we’ll have news from Rasmus again before long. A shining light.
Andy, I see. At least the hearing will be behind us. So things are moving along.
Well, the hearing is in about three weeks, but then (and you should know this by now) it will take quite some time until we get a desicion/verdict.
I don't know how much time it's going to take, but it won't be as fast as we'd wish, I'm guessing months.
Morning Eric...Yes, soon we'll know...how time flies when you're enjoying yourself. :-)
I guess we shall find out in about three weeks Sooz.
Morning John...Yes, it's been a daily hatchet job. Nice to hear from you, I'm in for all of it whatever comes and apart from the sp for which I think there's an entirely rational reason and you know what that is...I don't see any reason not to be. ATB.
Me too Bannor...I look in the mirror at least twice a day. 😎
Thanks Andy. How good to read something positive on this board for a change.
I am sure the negativity has not helped our share price of late. If I was a potential investor reading these boards, I would not go anywhere BEM at the moment.gla.
Morns Suzy 😊 ..... Always look on the bright side of life ... da dum da dum da daaa de da dee dum
Hang in there, nothings done till it's done & these boards are unfortunately full of keyboard clowns - I just need to look in the mirror occasionally myself!! Take care
Thanks Bannor....Have a nice day. 😊
OK OK ... so it's only as a result of the false red yesterday following the final UT on the day but ..... WE'RE BLUE!!!😂 makes a change from black & red at least !
Lol. Kurt is on a sabbatical and Ulla has completely vanished. The library might be closed now too, all post redirected to a Swedish PO Box.
Nice.
It's the bem illuminati I tell ya. I think we need to take a trip to bem HQ aka 'the post office/library' and demand to know what's going on. Lol
Ulla is still not on LinkedIn. Her profile has completely gone. Weird.
Hi SJ. Yeah, we should find out what the conclusion of the review is before the year ends. We can always hope for something fantastic to emerge from one or more of the three projects. That the reality is purposefully being hidden for now. And it’s very good not very bad. Lol.
Of course, I’m sure we’d rather know what was going on.
Let’s trust that Big Ted isn’t Bungle. 😂
Thanks for that Eric, hopefully we will know results of the review before the year is out then.
Fingers crossed for the next 3 weeks then 🤞.
Cheers
Just checking LinkedIn for BEM news. No further news on BEM page, or on Ed Bowie’s profile, but Ulla’s has disappeared, currently unavailable. It’ll be of interest perhaps to see if it does reappear and if there are any further roles taken up, apart from the latest NED role which was arranged the same day we had news of Ed joining.
I’m only looking for information, while we wait for the next RNS. If there are things happening at Vardar, then not to update us on that project since January is an absolute disgrace.
We only really know that Grafintec is still on the go, or at least it was according to the last update. I would say it is all a bit concerning, but interesting what Ed’s findings will be and what shape his plans then take.
We should find out more about the Sami situation in about three weeks. Not too long to wait. A drop in the ocean for most of us.
Anyway, I encourage everyone to please keep digging for info and posting your thoughts, good, bad or indifferent.
Best of luck to us.
Röstin also says it will take “approximately” six months, so it could be shorter or longer. Lol.
Hi SJ. We don’t actually know when the review commenced, but we do know that it’s now two months since we were informed that the review would take six months. Worse case then is that it will take another four months max, if the review only commenced on the day we were told about it. Which was 28 June, when the RNS confirmed Ed’s appointment. However we were told that the review was currently underway, which indicates it commenced prior to 28 June. But when, we don’t know.
Taken from that RNS:
Johan Röstin, Chairman of Beowulf, said:
"I am delighted that Ed has agreed to join the Company. His expertise and experience are perfectly suited for the stage in which Beowulf currently finds itself.
"This experience will be critically important in the strategic review of our assets that is currently underway. We have identified several potential ways to optimise the development and ultimate value of our assets and need to ensure we study and incorporate the findings into our development plans. This strategic review will take approximately six months to complete, and we then look forward to updating the market on our revised development plans and timetable including the environmental permitting process and application which is no longer expected to be filed this year."
