Great Figures from this micro cap . If this is missed by the Market ill be topping up later today.
23Million Market Cap,
8.2 Million Profit
You wont see figures like that very often
Slowly creeping up under the radar. Keep going
"House broker Cenkos Securities has taken note, raising its full-year adjusted pre-tax profit estimate by 10 per cent to £2.2mn on expectations that annual revenue will rise 35 per cent to £29.2mn. Brave Bison has over £50mn of historical tax losses (a result of previous management failure) that can be used to offset tax liabilities on future profits, so more cash flow can be recycled back into the business to support organic growth initiatives as well as further bolt-on acquisitions. Cenkos expects the group to generate £1.8mn of cash from operations this year and is pencilling in net cash of £5.9mn (6p a share) at the year-end, up from £4.8mn at the end of the first half.
On this basis, net of cash on the balance sheet, the £24.9mn market capitalisation company is priced on nine times forecast post-tax profits this year, a deep discount to sector peers. My 3p a share target price could prove conservative. Buy.
From the Cenkos Note on 20 July 2022. "Valuation – Brave Bison trades at a discount to peers across EV/Sales, EV/EBITDA
and P/E metrics, we believe EV/EBITDA is the most relevant profitability valuation metric to focus on at this stage given the sizable net cash balance that could be deployed. On this metric, Brave Bison trades on an FY1 EV/EBITDA multiple of 5.9x versus 8.9x for peers."
Great news here - at last. The future looks brighter.
On A 2 million buy. Someones taking the P
I've held these for several years. I can now feel very confident that I should make a good return thanks to the Greens. They have a dynamic strategy whi which they are delivering. Feel the best is yet to come within.the next year or so. Hopefully 3.5 to 4p as the profits keep rising.
2Seabass, it seems someone saw your post about muted response and decided to act on it lol
It seems that the placing shares have now found sticky hands and that the SP is free to move north.
Perhaps most waiting for agm and then July for results. Remember probably many placing shares to be churned. Still believe Greens will sell BBSN in about a couple of years after fully transforming businesses for 3.5-5p. Long wait for impatient aim gamblers!!
super news,,, buzzing up
Yes, I was there. An overview of the business and the financials. They did stress the value of offsetting previous losses against tax on future profits. They said they are looking to make further savings on office space. They seem very competent and motivated if not everyone's cup of tea.
Anyone see their talk at Mello? Would be great to hear a trading update from them or see some news flow. Maybe with the re-launch of the Brave Bison brand?
The IC has initiated coverage with an Alpha small company research note.
The target price is 3.15p
Am i missing something?
NEWS LEAK?
Good bit of activity this morning. Anyone know anything?
Pleasing. Certainly cheap, esp. on a cash adjusted basis. Would be nice if organic growth was a bit more than 10%
Full congratulations to the BOD on their first operating profit of £1.4m.
Cash position is excellent and the acquisitions made in the last year have enhanced the business considerably.
Another standout - total headcount for the Company grew from 40 at the end of 2020 to 146 at the end of 2021.
Accelerated growth and profit - a rare combination, and a great one for investors.
Excellent results and another good acquisition, due a re-rate imo.
Lets hope this is good news coming and a long awaited lift in the SP. Being a long term holder I am hoping patience will pay off! GLA
To be reported next week , i think positions are being taken in anticipation of good news and profits as highlighted in Jan RNS
Consequently, Brave Bison expects to report results that are ahead of current market forecasts and the corresponding period from the prior year.
Adjusted Operating Profit is expected to be not less than £1.4m, and Profit Before Tax is expected to be not less than £0.4m. Profit Before Tax is stated after incurring acquisition costs of approximately £0.7m and is expected to be the first statutory Profit Before Tax in the Company's eight-year history as a public company.
The presentation was very good and the SP is heavily outperforming most of the rest of the market at the moment - bodes well for the future.
Selling is the hangover from last placing, need that sold . 455 million was a big lump to shift but hopefully will be moved to investors and we can then gain traction.
The link was live in the original London Stock Exchange RNS but didn't come over when posted to adv*fn or to here. The video is at https://www.sharesmagazine.co.uk/video/brave-bison-group-bbsn-oli-green-executive-chairman-theo-green-chief-growth-officer and is well worth watching. The guys talk fluently and well, are fully engaged in the business [which they have moved on significantly in the two years they have been in charge], and have a mastery of social media channels probably beyond the comprehension of most of the posters here including me. They make a strong investment case so I would not expect too many sellers to be relinquishing their shares. Why do shares go up? More buyers than sellers. DYOR
