Matt the OO’s was for £4.3 million Not 50 million . We just need confirmation that solus have taken the rest .
Yep - Just $49,760,000 to go...:-)
They only raised 170k
Well, fair play to you creature, having the guts to admit you bought share at11p plus when the market price was half of that. Less than 1% of current shareholders followed your lead unsurprisingly. However, the RNS is rather quiet regarding the $50m they need to raise by end June, whilst the $40m 'infrequently recurring revenue' question also remains unanswered. Still plenty to ponder here I think.
Glad to see some investors had my logic & bought their OO allocation. Will be interesting to see what happens now.
Really ? Are you saying we should rush in to buy as its a no brainer while the stock is under 10p....? Don't rush. you've got PLENTY of time...
Seems a few blue trades lining up now...SP hopefully will adjust correctly if lse doesn't play up
Seems to be moving quite quickly now on that news
Major positive !
Yes this is true of the Cloud interface technology but there are many more patents Avanti have too. You need to read through their technical specs to understand them all.

From yesterdays RNS :- Avanti has a unique Cloud-based customer interface that is protected by patented technology
Thank you Romaron. 10/10 for attending the meeting. Perhaps when you have more time you will give us the benefit of further insights. Robert
I'm off out so cannot reply but yesterday I attended the GM. As expected it was a rubber stamp affair and there were only 2 or 3 of us. In front of us were Paul Walsh, Dave Bestwick, Kyle Whitehill, Nigel Fox and Patrick Wilcocks. The audience (maybe 25) were a mix of proxies, employees and those who have to be at these things. I spoke to Kyle Whitehill and Inmarsat came up. It was wasted on me but apparently although we are not in direct competition with them our directional beams are very useful to them. They have a future launch and they have to have 3 satellites launched at once. If I misheard I apologise but the CEO of ISAT is under a lot of pressure and I have confidence that KW is quite capable of negotiating a decent deal if one is there. I only mention it because there are some technical guys who contribute here and they may be able to develop the benefits of our Ka satellite to ISAT. Off the record I heard KW has fired another rocket - straight up the jacksy of the sales team. Maybe we'll be part of the Uber of the seas? Be Lucky
6.6 to buy ATM
Sorry i meant to type L.A. as in Latin America. Lets hope it steers the share price upwards too!
Thanks for confirming that GCCRa, with regards to Latin America, WO, my info comes from Avanti news and other news sources etc. If im not mistaken Hylas 4 has about 64 fixed beams, and 4 steerable beams of which they will be aimed at L.M.
Hi all, Some interesting views. My thought for today relates to the huge increase in the supply of shares from tomorrow. If these holders decide to sell the price could drop. On patented technology I’m sure today’s rns mentioned this. Anyway gla.
Hi WO. Yes, in fact AVN do have coverage of Latin America via the steerable beams on H4 that you mention. Coverage is, as you say, always demand driven, and one of the advantages of steerable beams is the ability to re-direct somewhere else should initial coverage area demand not pick up. "Existing" customers can simply be passed on to other operators. Africa is key though as you say too ! I really don't know what all the fuss over the next few days is. AVN have already indicated it's a mere formality. Rubber stamping exercise.
GCCRa, I hope your right, i know this company has lots of debt, but didn't Thomas Cook have lots of debt too some years back and they managed to stay afloat, If i remember rightly their share price rose by about 1,000% after they were rescued, so who's to say it can't happen to AVN. With the patented technology and infrastructure Avn has, let alone coverage to billions of people in the EMEA regions and Latin America, then whose to say it can't survive this financial hurdle.
Reading that post of GCCRa's, is anyone else getting the strangest feeling of deja vu... all over again? JMO.
Should see the resurgence of a great BRITISH company ! The first step of our trip to the stars! Lift-Off ! Revival ! Pile in while you can people. Single digit share price will soon be a thing of the past for us !!!
Oh dear! I thought it was a flat race (which has more prize money) :O)
So tomorrow 2billion more shares come onto the market. Lots of room then for the SP to go either way.
Yep. Should I take my 100 profit now, or await the results of the open offer.......tricky!
