So it is. Probably the reason why the IN SERVICE date didn't change.
Launch date set for 1/4/18 according to spacetv.net
Seems like you have more than enough.
If you want to sell me any shares you have i am happy to help you out :)
Dear Blowntobits. You are right something does not smell right....... A steaming dog turd is what it smells like but I wont go on as it upsets some of the more senile on here.
Launch delays as the one announced on yesterday are absolutely normal in this business. Arianespace have high reliability and any small, very small issue in their launch campaign can cause days/weeks of delay. Fingers crossed for early April.
This company has had too much "BAD LUCK" I am starting to feel that other forces are at work here. Another delay after this one and things start to look serious. Hylas 3 seems no nearer launch either. Something does not smell right, any view on the possibility of skullduggery anybody?
Sorry guys - Ignore and excuse my last . . . misread RNS time and didn't read up days comments! Seems only a short delay, fingers crossed.
Ariane notification . . . . flight delay - new date possibly early April 2018, to be notified.
But as MTB pointed out, we need the entertainment to suffer putting up with Avanti
The way WO is reacting is laughable. Asking for people to concentrate on AVN but veering of topic with wild accusations. The consensus is obvious here, the majority aren't interested in what you have to say and rather mock you. Do everyone the courtesy of keeping quiet and letting the big boys discuss the important bits. There we go now.
Just as well the in-service date remains unaffected, otherwise the detractors would inevitably use that as ammo to create scare stories. Whats new eh !?? Looking forward to hearing that new confirmed date.
WO, I realise your posts are not directed at me, but I directed mine to you because as far as I can tell you're one of the few on this board who understands this industry.
WO - cut the ridiculous hyperbole, and answer this. You really thought that simply comparing the level of a share price in isolation was a good way of comparing value? Really??? Secondly you talk about contradictory posts, yet in two posts below you say that I bought at 9p and am in profit (correct), but that I also bought at the top (unsubstantiated and incorrect). Every time you post, you just end up looking a little bit sillier, don't you. My advice, stop posting, and save yourself the humiliation..... That said, these little chats we have do make me laugh, so perhaps you should continue...
Why not concentrate on the facts instead of ***** slapping each other? Launch is very soon & will IMHO at least result in a nice spike. What happens afterwards will depend on Avanti's performance. Live longer than spock and prosper.....
WOW!. Youve been catching that falling knife all the way down then have you. Poor little sausage. Cheer up. I bought at 70p and sold at a shade after 7 when Hylas One went up. But I will make out I know zero just so you feel better about having a dog poop around your neck. Have a nice day and keep it nice eh.. if you can.
Hahahahaha. He cant be for real. Good fun though.
He is clearly bitter towards something Southstreet, veering off topic like a madman. Keep your cool WO, I may be stating the obvious but with your interjections of muddled garbage it would seem you've lost sight of the obvious. Calm down, wait for the launch and take it step by step. You are entitled to your opinion but don't jump on your high horse regardless if I or anyone else states an obvious opinion. Also don't pass comment on ours breaking forum rules when you can't abide by them yourself !
Dear whatsoccuring You seem a bit bitter and twisted I get it. You are invested and it aint looking good. You're frustrated with anyone that might have a contrary view. The facts are that this has lost its story stock basis- it did have that when it was moving up from a few pence to 7 Now its come back to earth with the thud that all story stocks experience, times are tough. Facts are its got far too much debt- the industry has over capacity - Africa aint saving anyone anytime soon. Sell on any rally and give yourself a break please. Youll sleep better
WO, the point i'm making here is..... We are a wholesaler of Bandwidth OF COURSE our prices won't reduce as a result of cheaper terminals. That disruption will benefit our RETAILERS who are able to offer their total package at a cheaper price. They sell more, as it prices in more attractively compared with terrestrial, so we supply them more bandwidth. Voila ! Our revenues increase.
Thanks Matt, I really could not be arsed. Getting close to your last buy in price now. I think that you will make a profit.

WO - It would appear that you are comparing the value/attractiveness of different companies by simply looking at their share prices, ignoring the fact that they will have different numbers of shares in issue, are different sizes of business, or are in different phases of their evolutionary cycle. Presumably then, HSBC (7) is ten times more expensive than Lloyds (70p) is it? When it comes to investment, you are clearly an imbecile of the highest order - not news to me, but perhaps this will open others' eyes. Forget postage stamp - what you know about stocks and shares would fit on a pinhead!
Whatsoccuring IF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE POSTING ON THESE BOARDS, YOU WILL STOP USING ABUSIVE LANGUAGE. THE RULES ON POSTING ARE QUITE CLEAR . . . . . READ THEM POLITENESS COSTS NOTHING
To be clear the share price will hinge on a successful launch followed by the share dilution confirmation. If both are successful it will not sky rocket but show a steady rise to circa 30p. This is and only if this all runs smoothly. Of note, when is the meeting for share dilution? Debt is the major hindrance to this company so the dilution is key. You then need multiple contract wins to fill capacity.
