More likely to be odd trades. Can't be the Bond holders selling as they will only get their shares once we shareholders approve it at a forthcoming general meeting. The principle as been consented to by the Bond holders but it has not yet been actioned.
Hi Cassius. could be peeps selling from their ordinary share account to put into their ISA for the new tax year
Hi Cassius, Yes I agree I think that could be a downside risk for the short term if the former bond holders are selling out.
I hope that they 109k,150k trades that pop up arent one of the former bond holders selling their new equity in dribs and drabs or else we will never move !!!
More great News supporting our long term prospects. It's when you read snippets like this that you realise the pie in the sky dreams of some of the other announcements on "Broadband for all !" are just that - pie in the sky !! We are one of the few operators with the expertise and infrastructure that Africa needs. In the timescales they need it. Well done Avanti.
Laguerre is a veteran poster a bit above your league SS
Avanti Gateway Earth Station Goes Live in MDXi Data Center Avanti Communications Group Plc (Avanti) a leading satellite operator, providing Ka-band satellite data communications services across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has partnered with MDXI data centre, a subsidiary of MainOne, to host and manage its in-country Gateway Earth Station (GES). The partnership has already delivered the commissioning of Avantis first GES in West Africa, hosted at MDXIs satellite farm in Lagos. The project, which has seen Avanti invest up to USD 20 million in the Nigerian Gateway, will ensure data from the HYLAS 4 Ka-band satellite is delivered efficiently in-country and interconnected with other networks.HYLAS 4s High Throughput Satellite (HTS) connectivity will complement the countrys existing fibre-optic networks, ensuring availability to high-speed internet is everywhere, even to the most remote and rural locations. Applications supported by Avantis 3rd Ka-band satellite include satellite broadband services for homes and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), rural schools, large enterprises and government agencies and cellular backhaul for 2G, 3G and 4G mobile networks. Avanti already has an established track record deploying such services via existing satellites across East and Southern Africa as well across Europe and the Middle East. Avantis efforts in Nigeria will also include the deployment of its Every Community Online (ECO) initiative, which enables Wi-Fi hotspots in schools, communities and government agencies, especially in the underserved and remote parts of the country where power availability and connectivity services remain a challenge. In addition, the satellite operator will take advantage of MainOnes extensive coverage to extend its market reach across nine countries across West Africa.
Could it be AVN? I found some interesting information about the launch on the arianespace website today, 3rd April is the next key date launch will be live on YouTube. Gla
. . from ADVFN . . . . . there's an image of a takeoff rocket and a heading, 'Hot Stock Rocket'. Their honest description will please a lot here, both sides of the anvil . . 'historically been a total dog' . . 'shares been decimated' . . 'new management' . . 'balance sheet being sorted, it was a total mess' . . 'the company could just be on the verge of material profitability' . . 'shares are really cheap' . . we see a short term upside of at least 50% !! So no future hope . . . Anyone able to ID the company will save the 5 tip off fee. . .
SS 'read my lips' and see my time and date? You have to keep your eye on the ball, when I messaged, Buy was 11.80 Sell 12.00 - 20p not 20%! That's a contrast with the extraordinarily wide spread we 'normally' get subjected to. NB You're obviously not a salad fan either!!
The spread is just under 20% wide. Is that tight ?
What happened before the weekend was the 'spread' closed right up . . . and remains tight currently.
No, I didn't notice the huge dip. A few desultory deals of small amounts is not usually significant in my experience.
Note the huge dip today designed to trigger stop losses. I suspect they're aware of whats to come hence the accumulating.
Indeed we are. Especially pertinent to our business was the "Africa is being held back by poor infrastructure" comment. Just re-enforces my view that this business is just at the foot of an exponential growth market.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/video_and_audio/must_see/43481001/could-acfta-free-trade-deal-be-a-new-dawn-for-africa Communication will be the key to achieving this. Roll on the 5th April.. GLA LTH
What is your silly answer has to do with the subject "Hylas 4 launch 5th April"? If you have nothing to say, don't post please, I am sick of scrolling necessary stuff idiots posts on web-pages. Please behave. Sorry to all for Off Topic.
I remember little Britain when Dick nice but thick met Tim nice but dim. Still predicted as 25p this year so why on earth would we sell?

Hi I have checked a site called spaceflight101.com which is saying early April. A definite date should be set fairly soon. Not long to wait I guess.
