Wouldn't be surprised if we see a few 'bargain hunters' buying at these levels (would do myself it I had liquid funds!) now that the final (3 hole) drilling programme at Stonepark is underway. Fingers crossed that G11 publish some more positive results.....
The latest tweet made me laugh. It talks about the company being established in 2004 by Teeling & Finn and that the 'focus is on creating shareholder value through gold & zinc exploration & resource development in Ireland'
I didn't know they were comedians as well....
What is the current mcap?.....less than £2M after 18 years!
Another tweet today...
WHY IRELAND?
*Ireland is one of the most prospective countries for zinc & produces 25% of Europe’s total production.
*The country has a 60 year history of zinc mining & has attracted major zinc producers such as Boliden & Glencore.
Yes agreed. Why it’s so off the radar I dunno. Valued like it’s a duster. But they’ve already bagged 5.1mt. And now have a strong candidate that cud eclipse the large Pallas green of 45mt. Quite a startling risk reward. Teeling ain’t no dummy. He knows it’s worth multiples. If a buyout lands it won’t be so out of the blue for us lot on here.
Auc, many small cap shares have had a good couple of (blue) days. No one seems particularly interested in ARK even though a bid for our share of Stonepark by G11/Glencore (petty cash!) would be at multiples of today's mcap imo
Not for ARK. Another company. Shows the demand.
A NEW tweet! Gosh!
A big Zinc order!
In the meantime Mr Teeling how about an update on the following?
*Southern Zimbabwe (3 lithium licences covering 163 hectares) and
*'We are also examining a specific exploration opportunity in another jurisdiction. I look forward to updating shareholders on this as soon as possible.' (RNS 30 June 22)
G11 news. Another successful drill result in Ireland for G11. It validates their interpretation of geological data to identify specific targets.
It follows the successful Stonepark drill earlier this year part owned with ARK. G11 stated stonepark now has the potential to eclipse the large Pallas Green deposit of 45M mt.
Yes Auc1, just a bit more patience required.....
Group 11 just released today what looks like good drill result news, but it’s not for Stonepark:-
https://ceo.ca/@newswire/group-eleven-discovers-high-grade-massive-sulphides
Hopefully Stonepark comes next…..
Latest drilling is be a bonus, The follow up drilling to the major fault structure found earlier this year will have majors like Glencore taking note. If not already. They bid for Stonepark once and the desirability following the major fault discovery has no doubt increased.
DVH I think you're right - drilling almost certainly well under way now (though am surprised they haven't announced it even on their regular Twitter announcements). Worth keeping an eye on Group 11 too.
Fingers crossed!
Very quiet here! We may well have already commenced drilling at Stonepark....
RNS 9 August 23:
*A further three holes will be drilled on the Stonepark licences beginning in September, two holes on the Western side of the licence block and one to the South of the block.
*John Teeling, Chairman of Arkle, commented: "Progress is being made in exploring the Stonepark block. The Carrickittle West hole discovered a major fault structure with significant vertical displacement. These structures are highly prospective in Irish style zinc deposits."
Mcap for the whole company now £2.1m after today's fall. Small change for G11/Glencore lol
Looks like the punter who bought a few 500k blocks of shares may have sold out at a loss. I'll wait until the Stonepark results are completed to see if we attract a bid from G11/Glencore for our share of the project. In the meantime we may get news about the Zimbabwe lithium licences and the 'specific exploration opportunity in another jurisdiction' referred to in the Annual Report on 30 June. Will buy another 1m if the SP drops to 0.6p.....
holding tight here. may add on weakness if others stocks allow
Good to know.....
Shouldn't be to long before .we hear of the next three hole are being drilled on stone park all paid for and hopefully positive results to fellow
I think that they had a couple of weighty warrant conversions earlier this year so unless they've started spending money on something other than overheads and existing stuff they shouldn't need cash just yet unless for something specific.
dvh, totally agree. plus it would make sense to wait until the s.p. is two or three times higher, which it should be ,given a fair wind from g11. before any raise, not long now.glta.
You may well be right staffy, although the BoD stated that the 3 licences represented a 'low cost entry...' but if something interesting transpires additional funds will no doubt be required. The remaining holes at Stonepark are 'fully funded' and my hope is that we have further positive results that make our share of the asset even more attractive to G11/Glencore!
We should also hear soon about 'a specific exploration opportunity in another jurisdiction. I look forward to updating shareholders on this as soon as possible' mentioned in the latest Annual Report....
Current £3M mcap is a great risk versus reward investment/trade imo
dvh, my concern is the b.o.d. may be shaping up to tap us for funds re zimbabwe , thats why i asked the question re resolutions passed yesterday. i agree with you re stonepark assets, thats why i continue to hold.news must be imminent (that word again).glta
It seems to me that the BoD has a complete lack of interest in communicating with shareholders apart from the constant extracts from the 'Company Presentation' on twitter which is on the company website. I have sent 4 (unanswered) emails over the past few months to Teeling/PR!
Stonepark is undoubtedly our 'jewel in the crown' and our share of this asset must be worth more than our current mcap, surely!. The final phase of the current drilling programme is due commence in the middle of this month according to the Group 11 website (ARK annual report extract: 'While examining how best to proceed with this discovery, three holes will be drilled in and around the existing shallow 5 million tonne zinc discovery at Stonepark North.')
I'm also (eagerly) awaiting information on the latest development opportunity that the BoD has identified (RNS 30 June extract: 'We are also examining a specific exploration opportunity in another jurisdiction. I look forward to updating shareholders on this as soon as possible.'). This following the 3 lithium licences awarded in Southern Zimbabwe...
Hopefully more news from Stonepark in the not too distant future. GLA
I have commented/complained of lack of info on their Twitter post where they state that 'all resolutions passed'. They're pretty prolific at posting stuff there so let's see if they respond. Am sure it's no big deal and that there was little of importance but it is slightly remiss/annoying.
Anyway, onwards and upwards. Stonepark drill results must be imminent...
