Just wondered what everyones thoughts on SP are IF the agm gives the order book being great the nod to being financially secure etc etc
Just for fun if this does happen what do we think will be the SP at say close tomorrow?
Im going 78p HUGE gain i know but hey stranger things have happened!
GLA
If all the right things are said with financing, order numbers, new executives, future plan.
I could see 75-80p then £1 by end of next week.
If they say they need more funding and nothing secured with a negative sentiment. 40p by end of the week and revisit the 30p by the end of next week.
Risk reward stock. No pain no gain. Let’s get it on.
I think the news will be ok, but no new news. I think it will bounce around the price has moved from 30p to 69p on recent presss so unless there is something new to report. Could go either way, but not by too much.
I can see a lot selling out who haven't done so with a near 100% gain for a couple of weeks work. I see them saying they need lots of new funding and more dilution and the price will bounce around for a while. I'd like to think it will break into the 60s tomorrow and hold but I am cautious.
Holla, if they say they need funding and more share dilution as you say we will be back to 30p that’s for sure.
Didn't toto kind of hint at them needing more funding down the line and dilution when he bought in? Or was it stroll. I'm guessing they will need some at some point unless Daimler or someone buys a bigger chunk.
None of them hinted at it. In the Q1 results a comment at the bottom talked of looking at the financials and looking at options.
What I would hope that meant was restructuring the debt with lower interest and to have access to extra cash if needed. Not share dilution.
MrNation...you’re obsessed with the £1 figure in the short term...get. a. bloody. grip
So it was £1 last week.... £1 next week?
Well at some point ya gonna be right - boy are ya gonna let us know about it!!?
It’s funny, £1 will definitely be a magical barrier In this share. In my opinion If we breach it that will be a real sign of belief in the recovery.
I think it is realistic if ALL the right things are said tomorrow.
It is realistic but not after 1 day or 1 week
How near is near future? I’m somewhat reserved admittedly, I’m thinking July for that price...it’s better to be slow and steady
Mercman77 he is guessing.....you might as well say £10 a share by Friday.....so many rookie traders on these BB's now it's unreal
I’d love the price to rocket, don’t get me wrong. Let’s all hang tight and see what tomorrow brings. It’ll be positive I think and if it brings a steady upwards trend I’ll be delighted
Agree Mercman, all the shares I have are long term now. Think AML will be a grower.
When I'm back to day job it will be sell the shorts and B&I the rest.
MacRs... it’s the way forward, get in as low as you can (this years crash was a godsend) and then always ride out any storms...in 10-15 years time you’ll be more than happy
All positive news tomorrow.
They might reiterate some of the bad news but no new bad news.
Restructuring of the debt for certain.
New factory (St Athan) increasing production of the new DBX because of full order book.
Old factory (Gaydon) voluntary redundancies and reduction of models.
What they are not going to do is continue as normal.
Oh and of course F1? Pau1Oz?
Roxbury i had left the f1 off but considered asking what people would guess if they did announce f1! I think the £1 target could be met in an instant if they announce any f1 news
F1 news will make very little difference as AML are just sponsors.
The only way this would be big news Is if Stroll is doing a share swap with Mercedes in order for Mercedes to take a leading shareholder role at AML.
This has been speculated but fairly unlikely.
Need might be a little strong but Aston certainly do compliment Merc and would be a great Halo brand for Mercedes if they choose to go that way.
This was posted earlier by someone and really worth reading if you haven’t already.

BMW got a big name...VW got several...it’s always been a bone of contention that DB didn’t
Racing Point will be AML racing next year, I wouldn't be surprised if Merc pull out of F1 as a team as they have nothing more to prove and then AML racing well become the 1st customer team with Toto Wolff running the show
It was a good article. I disagree with the amalgamation of the 3 GT cars. They have a nice spread of price between the 3 models and the GT car has always been the core of Aston.
DBX and the super and hyper cars are just adding to the strength of the model range.
Slow steady rise would be perfect, but expecting 75+ In next couple months no matter what the news is tomorrow.
