Stake building.:) So Mr. fish the score here is ....?
Copenhagen: Su Bo, China’s vice-minister of industry and information technology, vowed this morning to seek greater international cooperation as the nation looks to grow its shipping and shipbuilding prowess. Speaking at the inaugural Danish Maritime Forum in Copenhagen, Su noted how China had built up world-leading orderbooks at its shipyards, but it would seek to rise up the ranks further. “We are trying to reach international standards in global shipbuilding,” he said, paying particular attention to ambitious LNG and offshore projects. “In the coming years Chinese shipping will raise the standards of technology and quality,” Su vowed. Happy to take-on large amounts, which the MM's haven't obliged lately, so at least that's encouraging. **** poor SP though. Will move ever way on miniscule volume. Was 0.53p to buy 2.20ish, now back to yesterday's buy price 0.58p on a couple of buys
I have to admit I am very very tempted to dive back in for some more here at these prices. Still holding my original holding but my these prices are v tempting....
Just when you think we can't go any lower. 0.55p sell/0.61 buy HL. Wonder where the bottom is.
I'm in a similar position Doc, money tied up elsewhere but have a small holding here in my ISA but a larger one in my SIPP. Keeping a close eye nonetheless and H1 2015 will be very exciting IMHO. Good luck to everyone holding here.
Yeah, certainly worth a punt at these prices. I suspect patience and holding until at least Q1 2015 would be required as that's when the first rig will be completed (I think from memory) so I would expect a shift up in the SP then. Having said that there is no reason why new orders won't be announced at any time which would see this price rocket. Anyway, mustn't be too positive as I've not bought back in yet! :-) GL. Doc.
I agree with you Doc. The market is a bit cruel atm but surely this cant have too much further to fall. The dump at .59p probably did for it but we are in bargain basement territory now.
Odd....10%+ drop with no news and no sells. Still on my watch list but fully loaded and waiting in WRN at the mo. If my sell target there is reached soon these prices look too tempting not to jump back in. GLA that are holding here. Be back soon! Doc.
Still too big to buy back in for my liking. Still on my watch list though as I think Q1 2015 will be very positive here. GLA.
'sale' is in fact a purchase.
http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/72555/amedeo-resources-said-first-rig-remains-on-track-for-delivery-next-year-72555.html Broker says worth 2p at the end. Market thinks otherwise obviously lol
Pretty much what we knew already, and what was shown in the presentation. Chugging along nicely! Still good top up time.
Yep I thought ok. Reduction on overheads - certainly seem to be spending less cash? Some cash coming in from metal brokerage. Rise in asset value - which is above our MCAP. A rig order now will make a nice pop I think
All they realky care is fundraising soon may be another one
Ok, I apprciate volumes are VERY low at the moment but with £354.9 of sells and £2573.50 of buys does anyone understand / can anyone explain why we are down 6.67% today. Most dissapointing / frustrating.
without news is a day closer to news.
Following text from Jan RNS is what interests me the most here. "Meanwhile, our US$175 million first rig order is progressing well at our partner's (Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (Holdings) Ltd) yard and is on schedule to be delivered mid 2015 with the main hull nearing completion." "Moreover, as potential customers note the progress and the quality of the first rig, discussions regarding orders for further rigs continue and are advancing." No definite news scheduled before mid-2015 which is probably why the SP keeps slipping as people are looking for a quicker fix or a lower buy-in price. However, the second sentence says that other orders were being discussed so I am wondering where those discussions got to. It seems a long time to wait but then the monies involved in these orders are not small so perhaps that's why. It's a speculative buy for me but if news of new contracts emerges and the original rig order is completed on time then this must surely be a multi-bagger. So, it's either wait until mid-2015 or hope for a new order sooner. GLA.
I can get at the moment is 0.7185, given that the current ask is 0.7 that seems a little off to me. No buy just yet then.
