Worth digging out this extremely promising write-up from proactiveinvestors.com mentioning the £multi-mill potential. http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/65120/amedeo-resources-has-plans-to-rival-the-worlds-biggest-rig-builders-65120.html Or as Glen Lau, CEO, described in the recent Youtube video, "big ticket items". No kidding! Even without an RNS I see us finishing tomorrow, about 1.35-1.50p. On increased interest.
Steady progress has been made in the six months to 30 June 2014. Explorer 1's build continues to quality and on schedule. Third parties are visiting the New Yard and inspecting the build quality of Explorer 1. Discussions are underway with several parties for further orders. The management of YZJ Offshore are confident of obtaining further orders. There can, however, be no certainty that such orders will be obtained. MGR has built and consolidated its business against a difficult background and continues to be profitable. It is actively exploring opportunities to continue to grow its business.30/06/14
We know from previous Rns one of the contracts is more likely to be the major contract now signed. The other two will hopefully be orders for two+ rigs. Good luck and hopefully news very soon.

I am anticipating a House Of Flying Daggers!:)
No problem, no I don't recall reading anything about 3 contracts either. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that a few orders could be announced close together, here's hoping hey would be nice for Christmas!
My apology should have read The chat board has not mentioned of a triple contract.
Long time since we have been there. Should put us in good stead for tomorrow.
I have the same question. The chat board has mentioned of a triple contract. This write up in the Times mentions " trio of long-expected chunky contracts from China to build drilling rigs may be signed soon" We will be busy tomorrow. The contents of that article are not from this chat board.
Maybe. But where do they get the three contracts from? Not a very professional reporter if taking information from a chat board. Especially working at the times. We are due news (and not as you reported last night.) We will see where this goes tomorrow. It will certainly be an interesting day. The times may have learnt of possible news and the 1m purchase yesterday morning set the ball rolling,The potential is huge and investors do not want to be left out.
Any idea where the "trio" comment came from, hope there's some truth to it I'm still 30% down! Thought I was buying cheap as is normally the case!
You should change your name to Flying Daggers!:)
The Times snippet about AMED is genuine. Page 49 - part of Gary Parkinson'Market Report Get ready for multi-bagging!!!
Why the pointless post, cheers for your input!
Gawd what a dilema!. Glad with my top up yesterday and will be thankful for the good timing for a change. I'm big in MXO and November could be a big month, whether it's the right decision is another thing though!! Gotta love a good rumour!
A million shares sold toward the end of play based on a rumour "Private investors rediscovered an interest in Amedeo Resources amid rumours" Good luck gamblers
Do you have a link please. If you have this will go bonkers tomorrow.
2bags, I would be getting in some extra bags if I were you and the Times rumour is confirmed. Nice timing on your buy and I hope we can multibag on this one. GLA.
What was the time of that article Dave? Is it a report on today or yesterday? I expect it may produce a flurry of buying if it is from after 330pm. i hope it is picked up by the Mail tomorrow to give this more oomph. And an after hours RNS or early morning confirmation would be most welcome!
Just back from a Record Management meeting on Document Control zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Did I miss something? up16%
Ah the missing ingredient Davethechef. I didn't think this flower was self raising, Well spotted. Will rumour become fact?
Today's Times mention. From the Times Market Report , today Tue Nov 4th 2014. 'Private investors rediscovered an interest in Amedeo Resources amid rumours that a trio of long-expected chunky contracts from China to build drilling rigs may be signed soon'
Up 16.67% Davethechef you saucy thing! Should catch the eye of momentum traders now it is on the riser's list.
LIFT OFF!!!
This one is gaining traction! Maybe this has been tipped somewhere? I am new to this share so am wondering do they run a tight ship since it was floated or is it a bit leaky?
