No gas ,shut in . Turned on = 100% improvement. Simples.
but if that 100% improvement equates to about 2 drips an hour then the net gain albeit 100% improvement is worth diddly squat, no?
Cambay field is of strategic importance to India to remove their reliance on imported gas
ppl saying that for 6 or 7yrs
SYN maybe one of the ones that proves us all wrong. The CEO is a level headed seasoned oil and gas man
ppl saying that of OEX Ron Miller 6 or 7 yrs ago
SYN are at the table in India with a very important strategic field in play
ppl saying that of OEX for 6 or 7 yrs
seeing a pattern yet???
Like i said if i was their CFO i would be making them financially accountable to the shareholders.
What if the CFO is on the gravy train too?
Lenigas in disguise lol
Hi Gordon, not lurking, just watching history repeat itself. News imminent, long delays, jam tomorrow. I'm not involved and certainly won't be getting involved. It's painful watching this story fall into a coma.
when was the last time ANY board member bought shares in this company, a long long long time ago lol
madly funny, not. ******, very probably.
Long suffering Gordon you're still here!! I haven't posted for months but checking in on board occasionally. Looks to me like a little bit of history repeating here. Next RNS is to say Bhandari's bike has fallen down the well, AGAIN!!!!
GLA
Remind me, who was it that fracked 77 in the first place lol
there's a fair amount of p*sh being gibbered on this board recently
Gordon, now u can just sit back stress free and watch on with morbid curiosity like myself. You might even get a decent nights sleep now lol
Hi Callum, I might not answer your question directly but I'll try and put some numbers up for you, it make take a post or 2 cos im pulling bits from all over the place.
The first bit that would interest me is that OEX seem to have lowered their expectations depending on your interpretation of this
" It is anticipated that the results of the pilot program will provide data needed to determine whether horizontal wells can provide an estimated 3 to 5 times increase on well productivity, thereby offering the highest commercial returns for the project, and a final field development plan which, given success, would involve batch drilling of many wells."
What is the 3 t0 5 times increase based on? Projected figures for 77? or on the reality of production of 73 and 77. Cant recall what the projections for 77 were but I seem to remember they were rather higher than reality.
If we take reality for one moment, (I posted this on feb 21) - "so at best 73 and 77 combined might do $1800/day or $650,000/yr"
so if their aim is 3-5 times this per well (one well producing approx $900/day as per my post above) then if we use four as it's between 3 and 5, you get $3600/well/day from the 2 new pilots (hopefully), that would give revenue of around $2.6m/yr
As for the initial funding that's the biggest risk, but a farm-in partner say at 45% level may take the risk to do 2 wells (at their expense, then on a 55/45 basis going forward) given possible returns, especially if the plan is the batch drilling which one assumes reduces the price per well.
Alternately if OEX can fund the 2 pilots and they are successfull then they have income enough to take on debt, or it then becomes much easier to get a farm-in partner, but it's the funding for the first 2 pilots and their success that's crucial IMO
Callum, if boris and joe meet up for a curry in india, movements are only to be expected lol
this is the very scene

Ah Callum, Cheech and Chong, now you bringing back memories, some of the funniest movie moments ever, many times literally rolling on the floor laughing, tears streaming down my face, stoned of course. The only way to appreciate it.
Snorting soap powder and washing it down with the pregnant sisters urine sample, simply class

(obviously with the odd exception) just like everything else on AIM
Gordon, this is why I divested out of shares, much better for your health in the long run, sit back and watch without the stress
Callum, what I find interesting is the £350,000 raise on Friday, IMO, if they are on the cusp of a deal that'll complete the 55% and provide working capital why the need to raise?? (plus they snuck that one out without any fanfare lol)
IMO again, they may (or may not) get the 55% for 2.2m, but I suspect if that does happen then getting the remaining cash calls out of GSPC will prove more troublesome.
20% on 300000 volume, nowt really
quite recent then lol
