AFC hasn’t done as bad as others in the sector.
The tide will soon turn once things get back to some sort of normal. Everything is up in the air at the minute with lockdown easing.
It must be difficult to keep the world’s monetary system running slick at what has been trying times for every single one of us.
Yes cheeky I agree, I said this last week but someone said I was talking rubbish. Number or something? We will see who is talking rubbish when the RNS is released this week and it does zip for the price like many others in the sector. All time highs seem a life time away. Hope I’m wrong. Nervous times . But in life you risk nothing you gain nothing. Good luck all
I can’t believe the last bit but agree with the rest.
It’s going to Mars and will be there in about three and a half years. Seriously though, does it matter where it’s going so long as it’s being put to good use. Be it (no particular order) Spain, Saudi, Australia, UAE, Switzerland, USA, etc etc, it’s still neither materially positive nor negative versus the other opportunities. With a market cap of c £400 million it needs to move the market cap by c £50 million to be deemed price sensitive versus other alternatives.
Even if there were order’s released, i don’t think it would impact the SP much.
ITM had a good RNS this morning and it’s still down 5%. Take a look at the trades for them today. Some huge buying but nothing on the SP.
There’s no understanding of the market of late.
"No I’m new to this investment here I’ve been on Tesla for a couple of years heard good things about AFC"
You would only hear about 'Fool Cells' there!
Thanks Cheekboy. I hope our theory proves correct!

Nice post Garonne:) it’s what I’m thinking also.
I see CIL has probably been banned and reinvented herself as parsey:)
What's not in doubt is that AFC require another battery pack from MSP. That in itself is a positive as it shows progress towards another deployment is ongoing. Maybe AFC have kept their powder dry until tomorrow am when they may have originally intended to update the market. Something is obviously afoot. Let's hope it's curve ball good just to set the mood for the AGM and direction of travel for the rest of 2021 i.e. Upwards!
Parsey5000. Re your post at 17:17. What exactly did you bring?
Parsey I think we are all disappointed. But Patience is the name of the game specially on a short term basis. Been here 10 + years and seen the SP go from 80p to 3p and back again. Wait for a while you may be surprised. DYOR
How long you been investing here
No I brought early February just haven’t posted anything
Well your posting history says you have had a whole day to be disappointed...........some of us have had years........but we are still here.
Close the door behind you.
No just a bit disappointed at the moment
Where do you think this company will head towards in the future
Are you sure Meggies? I thought it said it was going on a long journey to an existing deployment. That was a biyt mysterious but it suggested Acciona to me rather than anything in Saudi
AFC obviously need one of MSP's battery packs; they're sending one. Not really getting the level of excitement ; is it just because they said it was going on a long journey? They are based in Cumbria - by definition any journey is a long one from there!

AFC Energy PLC AGM
Happened to me too - v. odd. However when I changed the display to 50 posts per page they all came back...
https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6785930210903638016/ ---> corrected!
"Yesterday we proudly waved off our latest unit to begin the first leg of what will be another long journey.
Correction, This unit is heading to AFC energy, It is not heading abroad as incorrectly stated in comments below.
This Flex-ESS will be supporting one of AFC Energy plc's most recent Hydrogen Fuel Cell deployments. The emerging Hydrogen Economy is destined to play a huge role in global #decarbonisation; deeply embedded into many countries' Net Zero strategies and international Sustainable Development Goals.
AFC Energy’s leading fuel cell technology is pioneering green #hydrogen penetration across the developed landscape and in some of the most remote environments around the world."
I am a long term holder of a fairly large amount but "radio silence" really? We have had some significant RNS s as well as interviews on Proactive Investor etc. This does not seem like radio silence to me. I think AFC are doing a fantastic job.
AIM. To be clear, you will be ok if the sp rises strongly from here (as will I), but you will be mightily disappointed if the sp is allowed to decline to stupidly low levels again due to management radio silence. Many of us LTHs are forgiving of the technology challenges but now, with a fuel cell being operated on a major stage worldwide, there's no further excuse for weak PR and any lack of transparency. Shareholders have funded this journey over the past decade and rightly want to see a solid upward trajectory now.
made redundant, stuck half redundancy into shares, living frugally off the rest while i decide my path from here.
