Jhonboy - AB has been grinning for years. I would be too on his wage (well deserved IMO based on current performance).
yes scarpa i picked up on that...the bloke Bond cant stop grinning in the interviews...take a 12 mnths view from here and it is blue sky. GLALTH.
“Altaaqa is the first of several we’ve got up our sleeve.” was what he actually said.
Adam did say he had something up his sleeve:)
B2, good effort. I think it is incredibly unlikely that it has been missed but it is now so public that they will need to comment on soon, I would have thought. Perhaps a last minute question for the AGM before the Monday deadline?
Curious to know who the new chairman will be.....providing they don’t get Tim Yeo back I’d be more than happy lol! What a scrounging waste of space!
I don’t disagree. Just pointing out what he said.
BB2, to be fair to DW, he did say that he’s ok with a delay to the acciona trial.
Interesting week ahead. AGM and a new chairman to be announced.
FCI. I have posted a link to this on twitter and copied AFC and Iain Thomson. Lets see if there is any response.
Has it been missed ? Is it meant to be a secret ? Is it not important ?
They have stated there were ABB sales discussions already underway to existing customers “e.g. high-volume logistics hubs”, separate to the ABB-AFC bespoke EV product launch later this year
With so much recent interest, I think AFC have started to more than a handful of these to put on the shelf as the orders start coming in.
Even for you EdSelby, that is very poor. You are a nasty individual.
Yes Chippy that’s what I said earlier.
EV charging and transport.
Either E-Ex or ABB and hoping for the latter....
Maybe theres a curve ball coming and we have another order? First delivery to ABB...
I’d prefer it was for Acciona, but either one would be good. Additional kit for powering ExE shows trust in the system.
It is interesting that nobody from AFC has liked this post, which is unusual given that IT is very active on LinkedIn, with AB also almost always liking AFC-related posts.
To me, this suggests that the company doesn't want to officially acknowledge that the cat is out of the bag with this new deployment yet and my money is on Acciona, with this hopefully being confirmed before the AGM.
That would be something to shout about..........
The system is so good we are replacing our diesel generators running on HVO with the AFC fuelcell system.
If for Extreme E then maybe the fuel cell is outperforming and they will get rid of the bio fuel generators.
My belief it is for Acciona though.
Ed, way past your Sel-by date.
Sounds plausible Daz. If so, not so exciting. It would be good to get confirmation that the Acciona and Juhlich projects are on track to be delivered. This is needed to stimulate more interest from potential investors watching on the sidelines and to further validate the tech. If AFC can deliver on these important goals we'll be in good shape.
I hunk the clue is - ‘This Flex-ESS will be supporting one of AFC Energy plc's most recent Hydrogen Fuel Cell deployments’
And as we’ve only got one deployment at present it suggests it is another unit for the Extreme E series
Agree likely for Acciona. But maybe... as additional legacy ExE/Altaaqa have done a swap and new ExE fuel cell being sent for collection in Gibraltar on way to Senegal?! Leaving one in Saudi for kick start of distribution contract... just wishful thinking!
We have never been informed of the MSP battery storage capacity......and as of now we do not know any details about the new battery pack ......but it may be quite possible that the new storage pack could be an addition to Extreme E to replace the HVO generators and supply power to the pits broadcasting crews and hospitality at the upcoming events ....just my own opinion.
Am I being stupid here or could it not be joining ee for additional storage capacity
Beach, sign up. It’s free and a great source of information.
