Odd school Jollyboy ?!
Was it approved ?
Oh dear !
Tanzania have absolutely loads of energy projects on their list, many will need our Gas. The project list includes our pipeline. Worth a read of the whole document. Copy and paste the entire link into Google Chrome and it should automatically translate it.
WORKS TO BE PERFORMED BY THE MINISTRY OF ENERGY 2024/25

Thing is, we are winning.
Every step ARA take to drilling CH-1 and then the rest of the field is a win for us.
The scum wants everyone to think of today and only today, but real investors invest in the future gains from the company being successful, which for Aminex holders and new buyers today will be huge.
This board reminds me of school sometimes where the gaulky kid puts his tongue out shouting "you're not winning, nah, nah nah nerr nerr."

Rather too many E-numbers in the haggis today methinks. That or he has been on the nitrous oxide again ;0)
You really have to have your head deep in the sand to say that Aminex announcing the licence has been signed off is nothing new, when it is.
Head so deep in the sand that right now he's looking around at the huge gas traps in Ntorya, which explains why he is so full of gas LOL!!!
No idea who McTripe is, but I've only ever seen that name used by bashers on the LSE QED board, so quite possibly RoJo is not trolling AEX, he's trolling this McTripe person on multiple boards under different logins. That certainly explains a lot, because there's some real pshycho's out there that will internet stalk others.
No McTripe - just watching the becalmed SP going nowhere...
The only delays appear to be:
1) Internal Government processes to issue the licence
2) A licence presentation event
I suspect '2' is what's taking most of the time, organising a venue, having all the most important people in Tanzania Government available, inviting some industry bigwigs possibly, arranging hotels, transport, catering, etc for incoming guests from ARA and AEX. It all takes time to line everything up.
Where's those naysayers popping along to admit they were wrong? All hiding under a rock I guess!

Personally I am not concerned about the timing of the Dev License RNS in the context of the remaining news - if it all get's issued at the same time we will then end up with weeks, if not months, with no new news and we all know what happens in periods of information drought.... Perhaps better to "stagger" the newsflow and avoid that hiatus?
Also note that we have the AGM in June so as well as news on the Dev License, Rig contract, NT workovers etc there should be a lot to look forward to. Plenty of questions about TPDC "back-in", Kiliwani license and operatorship, ownership of "condensate" rights etc. So for once a lot more light than heat to come in all but a few weeks.

Better to have the licence issued at the point when everything is lined up to go.
2 weeks tomorrow since the first news articles were spotted to say the 25 Year Development License had been approved. That was on 17th April but it was quoting the Energy Minister doing a speech to open Energy Week, which started the day before.
So, TPDC have had the instruction to issue the licence for at least 2 weeks now.
Hopefully not long until we get confirmation that it has been issued. ARA can then release details of rig contract and drilling schedule. I am sure they have been working on plans and are getting ready for some big announcements before the AGM.
"Very soon" = "Almost imminent" ;0)
Not long to wait now RoJo and you'll be able to cross this one off your list as well, of things not done.
I like VERY SOON Lol
"We expect a Development Licence will be issued by the Ministry of Energy very soon"
The Lone RoJo π
Well Ufufuo, if you can't work out that I'm not prosciutto, it doesn't exactly inspire much confidence in the claims you make in your rather long-winded epistles does it ?
If you think there isn't any doubt that Aminex will succeed, I think you're quite simply wrong.
Also from the same document:
"The works planned to be implemented include building a natural gas pipeline from the Ruvuma (Ntorya) block to Madimba with a length of one kilometer that will have the capacity to carry 140 million cubic feet per day. In addition, TPDC has acquired a Lead Consultant for detailed design and engineering. A total of 101.6 billion shillings in local funds have been allocated to facilitate the implementation of these works."
TZS 101,600,000,000 = US$39,227,798
So the money to pay for the pipeline has already been allocated from the budget. No funding is needed from ARA or AEX.
