I currently hold ASX:WHE with The Share Centre. Good company, never had any problems. I hope this helps, regards EW
Can anyone tell me a good broker which deal ASX shares?

down she goes as expected...
"Unseasonably warm weather in 2011 resulted in an unusually strong winter orange crop in China, consequently a short-term over supply of winter oranges to the market and direct competition to the Group's summer oranges. As a result, the Group's summer crop selling price to supermarkets and wholesalers are approximately 1.2 and 1.9% lower respectively year on year. These pricing arrangements do not have any material effect on the Board's expectations for the Group's current year performance."

Thanks for those thoughts on FCCN. I've asked you a question on SGP!! Meanwhile, ACHL doing fine, though must expect a small pullback soon from 'Overbought'. However, this looks like one I might keep at least 6 months. All the best.
not sure i could invest in palm oil, having seen first hand what those plantations are doing to vast swathes of primary jungle in kalimantan, but i think it's hard to invest ethically anyway!... something i wrestled with when first starting to invest... but have ended up plumping for mining and oil shares on the whole, for the volatility and subsequent gains (asian citrus is my only fruity and pleasant holding)... does that make me complicit in ravaging natural landscapes or am i just buying and selling arbitrary concepts and profiting from a wacky system that lets you buy numbers that can be sold for bigger numbers at a later date? just my two pennies!
great play in the food sector is PAL very young company and will not make a profit for a while but very undervalued fellow ACHL investors. I havent bought yet but they look very promising indeed! Another simple company and product in demand....... PALM OIL!
As of 6.53am Asian citrus 73hk up 3.59% gl all
On first look of fundamentals I like GNG. Will have to do a bit more research though before can make a decision.
Hi fellow investors I have been looking at geong [gng] . Fundamentals look good was wondering if anyone thinks it would be a good investment ? Would appriciate any feeedback. Realise this board is Asian citrus but thought I would like to share with fellow investors here.
Posted a message on French connection for you. Good to se this one racing ahead. Was a bit frustrating for a while there! Hope you're well! yours SGP predction was a good one this week.

Spot on mate how high do you believe this can go long/ short term ?
1. London Stock Exchange use 'ex' to level out problems of the time it takes (or used to take?) to get onto the company register. Anyone who holds the stock before the ex-div date gets the dividend when paid. A person who sells just before the ex-div date may get sent the divi - but the seller has to pass this on to their buyer. So with ACHL going ex-div on 7 Mar, you needed to hold the shares at the end of 6 Mar. 2. If you sell on or after the ex-div, you still get paid the dividend. The ex-div' tag will disappear once the divi is paid
I had asked similar question in past as but I am fairly new to this dividend stuff...my queries are: 1. People who have bought or are on register on or before 8 march are all eligible to get dividend? 2. What if some body sells today?
Yeah I'm a subscriber. Paul Hill's 'Gamble of the Week' - sounds like Harry Hill Lol He gives strong quotes from Sue Munden of Seymour Pierce on the boards decisive actions. He says Liberum Capital (who have a price target of 99p) predict sales and underlying earnings per share to June 2012 at £196m and 5.2p respectively. Paul Hill rates the stock on one times net assets(or 64p) including cash balances worth 19p a share. He then outlines agricultural natural disasters, geopolitical and foreign exchange risks but states a SPECULATIVE BUY @ 40p. Well it's now 48p to buy - excellent.
If Money Week's Paul Hill is tipping this as a recovery play, he should have done so approximately two weeks ago. I've never really rated Money Week, and fortunately this was a good prospect BEFORE the unfounded accusations and subsequent drop.
"This London-listed Chinese juice firm has suffered from unfounded accusations around its accounting. But that presents investors with an unmissable chance to snap up a bargain, says Paul Hill." - Unfortunately it's subscriber only. I wonder which London-listed Chinese juice firm (that has suffered from unfounded accusations) could they be referring to?
