sign to see the quite large buys here today on a day when many share prices are falling
hopefully the start of a climb back in shareprice
..... Dividend payments can be payed in to your own bank or your share dealing account at your stockbroker...... Also the divi can be reinvested in more shares in the same company. In the latter case there would be no cash payment due. . . . It all depends on your arrangement with your broker....... You had best find out ............ Good Luck
No problem proby62, you are welcome. I'd suggest a nominee account if you don't already have one. Makes dealing much easier and you don;t have to faff around with certificates and paper work.
Thankyou Buchaneer for your reply. I'm going to phone my stockbroker to find out what is happening. Once again thanks its much appreciated.
Hi proby62. The dividend would usually come to you by post in the form of a cheque. Unless you have set up a nominee account with your broker, in which case the dividend will be paid into your nominee account. The broker should send you a statement periodically which shows the stocks held in your nominee account together with any monies arising from dividends etc. Hope this helps. I am buchaneer.
Thankyou Kitnlgold. I didn't receive a divi any suggestions what I should do would be appreciated. Is the divi paid through the post to me or to my broker?
You should have been paid a dividend on 04-May-2012. If the shares are registered to you it should go to you.
Hi, I have some ACHL stock I bought on 22/02/2012.Should I have been paid a divi? If so hows it paid, through the post to home address or to stockbroker? Any help would be much appreciated.
hmmm, I just so happened to pick ACHL as an analysis company at random, I have posted high definition charts on flickr with the link in the post - http://theartofstockpicking.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/traces.html
Asian Citrus Holdings Ltd Our system posted a BUY CONFIRMED today. The previous SELL recommendation was made on 15.05.2012 (6) days ago, when the stock price was 35.0000. Since then ACHL has fallen -4.64% . BUY-IF is confirmed by a white candlestick with a higher open. The buying price is taken as today's open ( 33.250 ) according to the Rules of Confirmation
For your views. Yes, I can see the sense in what you say, and it puts me at ease somewhat. The other plus to this is it's literally a growth investment! Sorry for the pun, but couldn't resist. Lol.
. I would not get to unhappy about share buy backs as that is only one persons opinion. . . . Surely a share buy back is the opposite to a share dilution and so if there are less shares in circulation there are less dividends to pay out....... Which hopefully means a higher divi for you. . . . Also the less shares in a company the more the share S P should increase.......... This ACHL minimal share buy back is having little effect on the sp at the moment.
Not too happy having read article on buy backs, as it seems to show contempt for us pi's. our gains are limited to share increase with little prospect of a future dividend. Perhaps I'm looking at it in the wrong light, but please excuse as am new to this all. What do you guys think? GLA.
Read Merryn's article and http://www.cfo.com/article.cfm/14633291/1?f=search but still really none the wiser. Don't know if executives at ACHL have incentives that kick in with improved EPS but whatever the idea of this buyback which has cost £2.335m so far(my calculations), it doesn't seem to be holding up the share price. Perhaps they are buying shares which they consider undervalued. Anyway, I hope we're now down to support and can resist dropping further. I always look at the HK ACHL price and we seem to take our lead from that - they close at 9 am London time. GL All

I like the fact this board is quiet as we can keep on buying at these low levels. Can you answer me a question buddy...........ACHL are repurchasing and cancelling which I presume is better than holding in treasury? Am i correct in thinking that?
By my calculations, at an average repurchase price of, say, 38p, we've now spent £2,335,480 on the 6,146,000 shares we've repurchased for cancelling. These are always repurchased on the HK exchange but the price in HK seems pretty well pegged to the LSE price. The Outstanding shares on each exchange are shown as 1,224m so presumably these pooled together to make the total. We've now cancelled 0.5% in this repurchasing programme. What is the point? It's now getting cheaper each day to cancel shares as the sp drops. We won't have to pay divis on these shares in the future. Is it helping to shore up the sp? Hoping for a bounce back off support @ 35/36 soon. This board is toooooo quiet.
paid also. Bit worrying how this is drifting nearly every day. It's got to be a slow one for news due to the nature of the business I suppose - oranges don't like being shouted at. As Taffer stated on Apr 22, there are a few news items in the next few months but nothing expected imminently. Support level @ 34-35p? So should stop drifting and bounce soon.
36p does seem to be the support level in the past. I suppose it was perhaps 'overbought' - hopefully it'll come right back. Did you see my thoughts on WEIR?
Possibly 36p coming and then bounce?
Seymour Pierce maintained its "buy" stance on Asian Citrus (ACHL), with a 65p target price. The broker's has visited the company's fruit juice division, BPG, and noted that lower concentrate sale prices have been compensated for by cheaper local fruit costs. Additionally, Seymour Pierce noted that the firm's margins improved in the second half of the financial year due to the production of the more profitable pineapple juice concentrate. The broker said that the facility has capacity for 40 thousand tonnes of concentrate per annum and added that a second plant with equal capacity is scheduled to be commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2012.
. This minimal repurchase of ACHL shares every trading day does not seem to have any effect on the share price .......... It seems to me that the company needs to up their game a bit.
with my buy!! This is due a drop back to around 35p and then when BEAR market recovers then im looking for 70p+
