this is not your ldp, leg etc. Nice and steady this share that will climb gradually over the next 6-12 months. Increasing demand for fresh chilled juices etc . Remember UK takes chilled juices as a normal item now whereas far east is changing from what was a luxury item to everyday item - demand will rise.
yes. treading water. yes, they do like a story...every silver lining has a cloud with this lot.lol.
Not much happening au moment. Similar pattern each day, a tiny rise then a drop to even and just below usually, on v.low volume. Maybe we need a bit more scandal! Lol
pablo is just bein nice to the newbee. well done pablo. for the record....i was "clucking bell" at myself for my own stupid sell at the bottom of the drop followed by a rise. worst.trade.ever.
.... Clucking bell,.... I read your statement and all I can say is if poeple dont know that then then they really ought not to be tradeing... ( They got there heads buried in the sand. )
clucking bell. if i didn't laugh...
Have you ever bought a stock only to find out later that you were not entitled to the next cash or stock dividend paid by the company? Determine whether you should get cash and most stock dividends, by looking at two important dates. They are the "Record Date" or "Date of Record" and the "Ex-dividend date" The Ex-dividend Date is a key date to remember for dividend paying stocks. If you purchase stock prior to the Ex-dividend Date, and do not sell prior to the Ex-dividend date, you are a stockholder on the Record Date and YOU WILL receive the upcoming declared dividend payment. **** It is important to know when you buy or sell stock; there is a three-day settlement (three stock trading days) on all buys and sell stock transaction orders.**** The minimum holding requirement to be entitled to the upcoming stock dividend payment is to buy a stock three stock trading days prior to the Record Date, one day trading day prior to the Ex-dividend Date, and Selling on the Ex-dividend Date or after to receive the upcoming dividend. You must own the stock one-day to be entitled to receive the upcoming declared stock dividend payment. You must be a stockholder on the Record Date to receive the dividend payment. When a company declares a stock dividend, it sets a Record Date. This is the date you must be a shareholder to receive the upcoming declared stock dividend payment. The Record Date determines the Ex-dividend Date which is set two stock market trading days prior to the Record Date. If you purchase stock prior to the Ex-dividend date, and sell before the Ex-dividend Date, you WILL NOT be a stockholder on the Record Date and you WILL NOT receive the upcoming declared dividend payment. ----------------- ---------------------- The most crucial bit of all this is between my asterisks above - about the 3-day trading settlement. This results in, if you sell on the first ex-divi date, you will still be the recorded holder on the Record date. You must be recorded on the Record date but this will happen because of the delay. So, MadDog OK. IMO http://www.ex-dividend.com/howitworks.html

Oh yes buddy you WILL get the DIVI and I hope you have a decent holding as the DIVI from achl is very good indeed especially the full year divi!!! GOOD LUCK !!!!!!
PSI Thanks for that knowledgeable divi spiel and the 'market manipulation' link. For mm read market manipulator (not maker). Had a quick browse but saved the link for later study. Looks a bit cynical though but no doubt there is a fair bit of truth in it. I like to believe in the best in people, maybe a bit too trusting. I have seen many 'shake outs' when stocks dip suddenly to hit stops in order to press upwards. The whole mm game and SETs SEAQ etc. is a minefield. I haven't ever had L2, no doubt I'd be more the wiser if I could afford the time to use it properly - I mean I suppose it is very time consuming? Tieah - don't know anything about Game - I've been playing golf all day and haven't studied beyond yesterday's news. It's funny isn't it, I hear the news and can't help feeling sorry for the workers there and how the internet is certainly challenging our high streets, but I didn't immediately think - right, got to be some massive swings and money to be made for me now. Must change my spots to a killer leopard or something! Lol Anyway, hope ACHL has completed it's 'overbought' period - interesting the post about HK price has been holding up.
On another stock I hold, someone posted this link. I'm sure many of the ideas expressed are going on quite frequently! http://timelesswealth.net/articles/deadly_art_of_stock_manipulation.html
Don't worry - providing you held the shares at the close of day on 6th March, you get the dividend. On the 7th the div became 'ex' - as in 'no more', 'ceased to be', etc. for buyers of the share. The 9th is the 'day of record' at the company, but LondonStockExchange uses ex-div as a way of avoiding arguments and is a warning to prospective buyers that they are too late to get the declared dividend (the 'settlement date' on the purchase will be too late).
In the financial calendar it states interim ex div date 7th march , I sold my shares mid afternoon on the 9th The rns released yesterday states shares had to be held by close of play the 9th march Am I ****ing in the wind or will I get a div ???
Ok thanks for that. If I had the answer to that would be rich lol. Gut feeling is yes couple of holdings rns , put in a 1k yesterday afternoon, cashed back in 1.2k and still got 500 quid in shares. All the time there is speculation guess money to be made. Very volatile board of members, couple of shorters not happy to say the least. I was just in right place at right time, poster called Previn and Essex mafia to thank, they were on it before it flew. What are your thoughts on game ? . See another lot of shares repurchased by Asian. Both days 73hk price has been fine, seems to get dropped for the purchase?
couldn't stomach the drop and sold at the bottom 42.7 trying to avoid mirrors this evening.
Pull back after simply going up too fast, therefore people take profit. plsu is plus(also). Competition means one has to drop prices to remain competitive. I see Game up 66% - is it going to survive?
Hi there you obviously know charts inside out. Any chance you could explain in basic terms about pull back and plsu being overbought regards
Hi Pablo yes opens up fine. Will try loading up a different way in morning. Sorry for delay in replying been having fun with game shares.
No pull back should have happened unless there is more afoot here than meets the eye. My cat vision tells me (okay I read it somewhere) they've another plant on-line soon, they no longer pay one of their leases as they have new fully paid up custom built building, Trees are maturing, they are showing faith in themselves with the share buy-back, they are paying interim dividends when many other companies are struggling to keep a +'ve PE, need I go on. FF I think you are either psychic or related to Marvin - now what was that number again 42, ah todays low lol. thanks for replying chaps. Bagi
I feel like that sometimes. Amur Minerals announced some excellent mineral deposits, best results they'd ever had and their price dropped. It's all beyond me but presumably lower selling price of oranges = lower profit margin and I think that bumper winter harvest has somewhat flooded the market. But what do I know really, not a lot! Oh the world isn't flat, unless it's just my perspective.
ACHL announce a bumper crop enabling them to lower the retail price of their stock - increased volumes of healthy organic certified orange products making them more affordable and the price drops? Does someone know something I don't?
Thanks buddy. Regarding this small dip, this represents a very tempting buying opportunity IMHO top up!! 15 Mar Asian Citrus... Seymour Pierce Buy 43.25 65.00 65.00 Reiterates
@ 0.5p in total (Special and interim) paid by May 4. Hopefully this stock will pick up again - it surely won't be 'overbought' much more. Tieah - can't get your barchart link to load anymore - computer says 'firewall or antivirus may be preventing google chrome' - the link works for you?
