I too remember those heady days when the future looked so bright but someone had control of the dimmer switch & the price just kept dropping with little surges every now & then, so managed to average down & take profit on occasion. It was very frustrating but having retained the faith, it's good to see the price climbing once more but I'm still taking profit & then averaging down when the opportunity arises. Keep the core investment & play with the profit. Of course I don't know what I'm talking about but it's good to see life in Nano still.
I've been here for a couple of decades but am only small investor. War with Ukraine I was very twitchy. That sudden spike I sold. My fears were what if Putin decides to Nationalise? It may be a ridiculous thing to say but thinking it was enough. Of course I'm waiting to buy back in & yes I have a nasty habit of selling low & buying high, it just seems to happen. Yes I do make money but I am very attached to AMC. Any thoughts?
Now I feel really stupid & uninformed. Quote from Investors Harbour Energy reads "On 31 March 2021, the all share merger between Premier Oil and Chrysaor completed to create Harbour Energy. Management will host a presentation for investors and analysts at 11:30 (BST) on 1 April."
Just noticed that no trades are shown for today, only yesterday
Weird. On my EQI account there is no share price showing, giving me a 100% loss & yet it apparently is still trading on my live trading feed!? What is going on?
Eric, I bought in a few years ago when it was all about tidal power. Selling price just kept on falling but then Gupta came along, which I thought was good (?!) & I liked the diversity of Uskmouth power station & really thought that SAE would take off I could recoup my losses. Then of course reality hit home & I saw similarities between Gupta & Philip Green & my heart sunk. My son in Geneva tells me I should research more & I know he's right but hey, I enjoy dabbling with some Aim shares, it spices things up plus there can be big upsides. I still like tidal power though but I'm no expert so what do I know. Strangy, be cool & hang loose, we're all a long time dead, chill ;-)
Oi! Where's my comment gone? It was a general comment, nothing contentious , posted ok & then poof! Gone! I did say that I'd sold but was watching, maybe buy back in & no point in insulting comments etc
Just for your info re My live lse terminal not showing today's dates on trades, I had this reply:
Hi Jonathan,
For now, myTerminal trades aren't working but, Live Prices is still working fine on individual shares. Technical team are hoping to have it solved quite soon.
Kind regards
Craig
Pwave, my buy is showing up as a sell. It's very misleading & also very annoying when you're watching trades.
Having been with Nano for many years now, I feel like the Donkey chasing the carrot. The potential & success is always just out of reach. Sometimes I think, that's not a carrot it's a photo of a carrot. Why am I still here? 1) I don't follow my son's advice 2) I am like a Donkey, stubborn! Yeh, I'm probably stupid too & believe that Nano will come good, eventually.
Politics & Religion are best avoided when cool heads are needed. Insults are for playgrounds. Personally I think the EU will implode dragging members down while we float looking smug, but what do I know. It's like investing, we all do our best but how quickly Blue turns to Red & sometimes the other way round too.
All I can say is that I feel like when in their space ship Wallace is saying to Grommet "We should be taking off soon!" & Wallace just rolls his eyes in expectation. I've been with AMC for years & it has been an education. Onward & Upward cos I want to be rich, not just old ;-)
Yet again my Buy shows as a Sell. Only small beer I know but what's the point if you can't tell the Buys from the Sells?
Thanks Guys, obviously I'm living in a dream world where share price out weighs the number of shares available. P'raps I should call myself Homer Simpson instead. However 33p would be good as a comparative value. Anyway, my current holding = profit made when prices were fluctuating between £1 & £1.50 a share. I'm being greedy & want my profit back where it was. Tears, tears, tears. Good Share Chat, by the way.....
