Jiddy ~~~ Yes , I understand the point you make and that it is possibly the reason for deletion in this case .
However , `Sledge hammer to crack the nut `springs to mind , hence my point about more sophistication with their monitoring . Incidentally , imo , I also think it would be an improvement , again for balance , if they were to introduce a`Dislike` vote in addition to the recommend !
Cat ~~~ Thanks , and yes , I probably should have posted on the general chat thread , but the heading `Remembrance Day` title seemed appropriate , especially as it seemed to have attracted the usual rude and disrespectful fraternity .
How right you are :
"Lest we forget ."
Regards and good luck , both .
V111JAS.
MILOH, would you please refrain from using the word 'reframe' incorrectly, it is becoming tiresome.
Miloh as I have pointed out time and time again on this board. I used to post here under csw123, closed the account and then decided to come back. You can't register with a username for an account that was closed, so I had to re-register as csw12. I have always been completely open about this. What about you?
Will PMO have any "NEW" news relating to Alaska?
As of earlier today working interest changes to leases not on file in DOG so will not hold my breath.
But just my opinion, may wake up to an ANN.
Will ASX have an up date tonight for use , if PMO are giving an up date tomorrow .
The "Usual Suspects" were probably responsible for the removal of the thread.
Thankfully I have filtered them all!
few crossed and LH threads at the moment
why would mod want to delete that
may be you should have posted on general chat.....or did you
anyway for my money you were posting something everybody should have been proud to read
lest we forget
cat
I think that you will find that ALL posts are removed from a defined thread if there has been any personal or abusive language that has been "Reported".
Given the number of personal insults bandied around, I am surprised that it doesn't happen more often!
~ " why have so many posts been taken down? " ~
Why indeed ?
On the 11th / 11 I posted a note under `Remembrance Day ` paying respect to our Armed Forces , which in no way contravened the ` LSE Rules`. I regarded their action of removing it as disrespectful . So much so , that I wrote a note to LSE complaining about their action :
"Sir ,
Last night I posted a note on the 88e BB under the thread title : `Remembrance Day` .
My post in no way contradicted your Rules of Compliance .
On the contrary , as a British subject I simply highlighted the significance of this day in our History and into the future .
I specifically drew attention to the fortitude of our Armed forces past and present and thanked them for their courage , sacrifice and devotion to duty .
In my post I said that I believed that we will forever owe those who gave us our freedom in this Country an eternal debt of gratitude .
I said that this was the one day in the year that all citizens of the United Kingdom should respect with the dignity and honour it deserves .
I was very disappointed to see that today for reasons unknown you had removed my post .
I regard that as an insult to the freedom of speech that we enjoy in this Country ,
but more importantly an action which was disrespectful and insulting to those who serve our Country and keep its people safe
Sincerely
V111JAS. "
Sadly , so far not even the courtesy of some bland response .
I no longer post on A D V F N , they have serious problems of a different nature , but LSE should , imo , find a much more balanced means of monitoring posts and differentiating between offense , disruption , lies and abuse .
While I continue to read certain threads , I notice that some valued contributors have also seemed to have lost their enthusiasm to post quite so much .
Certainly this is a somewhat strange policy if LSE want to encourage people to trade up to their premium formats .
btw ~ Good luck with 88e !

you mean lefkosia has not posted using the name lefkosia
cat
Maybe its GG ;) GLA
PerthOG, I’ve had a quick look at your posting history and I smell a rat. You have only been a member since the 26th of May and the vast majority of your posts since then have been anti 88E. On the 8th of November you posted ‘Erstwhile lefkosia is on the march’ but Lefkosia has not been on this board since the 7th of September
Who are you really? Your agenda is obvious
believe has stated that this is going back to 0.5p so logically will have divested if ever had I would imagine.
Some of the comments here remind me of the AAOG, or even worse SOU, boards some time back. I'm in the share myself, but with more modest hopes. Good luck - just don't get SOU'ed....!!
Will be market cap the way it's headed
Thanks for clearing that up Boom Boom, still a decent price for c-1 alone.
Smokin, Charlie-1 is 21p & HRZ 12p; and rest of the valuation for other assets.
Charlie-1 well, is going to test HRZ shale as well.
I presume that 47.8p is the whole portfolio and not just charlie- 1...or is it??
Cenkos notes, 47p valuations
“ Extract of the Cenkos note below:
Valuation - Drilling of the Charlie-1 well will be a defining moment for the Company, as it seeks to prove the conventional potential of the Project Ice wine acreage. We have updated our model for both the HRZ Shale and the Yukon Leases, whilst updating a full DCF model for the Icewine Conventional acreage. The result is an increase in our valuation and our price target to 4.8p and reiterate our BUY recommendation.
Whilst the early stage nature of 88 Energy’s portfolio makes our valuation speculative, the upside potential is huge, unrisked, we value the 88 Energy portfolio at 47.8p per share or US$4.8bn.”
DW has more proxies in here drumming up his hooplah than drunks in Russia. Sad thing is they themselves get no ROI for all this grovelling
11:02 what RNS? invite sent to those on mailing list that anyone can apply to join.
Appears to have been arranged without any indication of it. Its usually arranged with time in advance and not highlighted in RNS although not supposed to be price sensitive. The market dont like it either re the retrace.
Hit somebody’s nerve no doubt !
